Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat relevansi dari materi MKK denganmateri Mata Pelajaran Biologi SMA berdasarkan standar isi kurikulum 2013. Dari 32 MKK terpilih19 MKK sebagai sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling dan KI 3 dan 4yang terjabarkan pada KD 3 dan 4 Mata Pelajaran Biologi yang berjumlah 70 KD. Analisis data padapenelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat kategori tingkat relevansipada MKK yakni yang mendapatkan kategori tingkat relevansi sangat tinggi yaitu berjumlah 6 matakuliah, kategori tinggi berjumlah 5 mata kuliah, kategori cukup 6 mata kuliah dan 2 mata kuliah untukkategori rendah. Secara keseluruhan materi MKK sudah relevan dengan materi mata pelajaran BiologiSMA, adapun materi yang tidak relevan yang dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil pemetaan KD 3 dan 4pada mata pelajaran Biologi SMA dengan MKK. KD 3 dan 4 yang tidak relevan dapat dijadikansebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam pengembangan materi pada MKK.Kata Kunci: Mata Kuliah Keilmuan dan Keterampilan (MKK), Materi, Kompetensi Dasar (KD),Standar Isi Kurikulum 2013

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian perbaikan pembelajaran dalam melalui Penelitian TindakanKelas. Penelitian dengan penerapan model Pembelajaran Berdasarkan Masalah.. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep yang dilihat dari hasil belajar, dan berfikir kritis mahasiswa yangdilihat dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada matakuliah perkembangan hewan program studipendidikan biologi FKIP UNRI pada semeter genap tahun akademis 2008/2009 berjumlah 58 orang,terdiri dari 49 orang wanita dan 9 orang pria. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kemampuankemampuan berfikir kritis dari penilaian lembar tugas 74.48% (baik) pada siklus I dan 77.08% (baik)pada siklusII. Nilai berfikir kritis tertinggi pada aspek mengumpulkan data dan terendah aspek menilaipemecahan masalah. Rata-rata kemampuan berfikir kritis dari penilaian aktivitas pelaksanaan diskusirata-rata 78.80 % (baik) pada siklus I dan rata-rata 82.29 (baik sekali) pada siklus II. Nilai aktivitastertinggi pada aspek kerjasamaa dan terendah aspek memberi argumentasi. Ketuntasan belajar mahasiswamengalami peningkatan dari 75 % pada siklus I dan 96.46 % pada siklus II. Dari hasil penelitian dapatdisimpulkan penerapan pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah pada mata kuliah perkembangan hewan dapatmeningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi pembelajaran kontekstualRANGKA terhadap keterampilan proses, sikap ilmiah dan hasil belajar Biologi.Penelitian kuasi eksperimen sebagai penelitian awal telah dilaksanakan di SMPN 7Pekanbaru, sampel terdiri dari 35 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 36 orang siswakelompok kontrol. Data keterampilan proses, sikap ilmiah, dan hasil belajar diperolehmelalui observasi, kuesioner, dan tes kinerja. Analisis data secara deskriptif daninferensial dengan t-test. Rata- rata peningkatan melalui uji ternormalisasi (N-gain)diperoleh 0,31 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 0,24 untuk kelompok kontrol. Secarakeseluruhan rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen 73,55 dan kelompok kontrol62,4. Analisis uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimendan kontrol. Hasil ini menunjukkan pembelajaran kontekstual RANGKA berpotensiuntuk pengembangan keterampilan proses , sikap ilmiah, dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to find out how the performance of members of Pekanbaru High School Biology MGMP in professional development was conducted from January 2019 to April 2019. This research was a descriptive study and used a survey research design with a cross-sectional type design, ie data collection was done once at a time . Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by distributing questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. At the time of distribution of the questionnaire there were two stages, in the first stage the questionnaire was distributed to members of the Pekanbaru City Biology MGMP for the purposes of questionnaire validation and reliability tests to 10 validators who were members of the Pekanbaru City Biology MGMP. At the stage of validation and reliability testing there are several items that are invalid so that revisions are made to items that are invalid. Furthermore, in the second stage, the revised questionnaire was distributed to 30 respondents who were members of the Pekanbaru City Biology MGMP which were used as research data to be analyzed and interpreted. The overall results of the analysis of the performance of Pekanbaru High School Biology MGMP members in professional development obtained a mean score of 3.44 and were in good criteria, with the results obtained as follows: motivation, creativity, selft efficacy, attitude showed very good criteria. Self development shows good criteria. Scientific publications show sufficient criteria, and for innovative works show good criteria. Thus it is known that members of Pekanbaru City High School Biology MGMP have a good performance in professional development.Key Words: Teacher Professional Development, Motivation, Creativity, Selft Efficacy, Attitude, Self Development, Scientific Publication, Innovative Work

Abstract

Abstract: Knowledge about the development of learning with the practicummethod is one of the initial assets of Biology Education students to becomeprofessional biology teachers. But in reality, there are still students who have notmastered the competencies related to practicum activities. Based on these problems,this study aims to produce an independent learning resource in the form ofvisualization in the design and implementation of school biology practicum in the formof a video equipped with a guidebook. This research was conducted at the PMIPALaboratory FKIP Riau University, SMAN 8 Pekanbaru and SMAN 15 Pekanbaru inApril-December 2020. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D)which refers to the ADDIE model. The instruments used in this study were validationsheets and response questionnaires. The results of the visualization product validationobtained an average score of 3.57 (video) and 3.39 (guidebook) with very validcategories. The results of the limited trial phase I obtained an average value of 3.64(video) and 3.72 (guidebook) with very good categories. Meanwhile, the results of thesecond phase of the trial obtained an average value of 3.43 (video) and 3.47(guidebook) with very good categories. Based on the results of the validation andtesting, it shows that the visualization products in the design and implementation ofthe developed school biology practicum can be used as a source of independentlearning for prospective biology teachers.Key Words: Implementation, Design, Practicum, Visualization

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research to give a description abaut the capacity to think criticall students class seed X MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru the academic year 2015 and 2016 .This study was conducted for the month of may-june 2016 .Samples to this research was superior a class X as many as 24 students . Instruments used to gather the data was the competence daily basis , the raport biology at first semester , the survey covered , the survey open , and the test think criticall .The survey covered consisting of 30 items wich consists of 5 indicators , the ability to analyze , synthesizing , solving the problem , concluding , evaluate and assess. After undergone a validity and reabilitas at the two all items chief closed expressed valid and reliabel .But should tests the ability of think critically consists of cognitive domain C4 C5 and C6 , the data collected analyzed a sort of descriptive set . But the ability to think critically students man 2 model pekanbaru chief obtained through closed as follows: ability to analyze 3.4 , synthesizing 3.5 , know and solve problems 3.4 , concluded 3.4 , evaluate or judging from the five 3.4 the indicators students have good showed criteria . To test the capacity to think about critical of the cognitive C4 70.8 %, C5 62.9 % and C5 53.3 % the percentage shows students have increased is think critically. While relations academic ability to the ability of think critically students received a value of rhitung > rtabel namely by rhitung 0.5456 and rtabel 0.404 showed that there is a relationship with criteria and between the ability academic students and the capacity to think critical students in learning biology.Key Words: The Capacity To Think Critically, Class Seed, Academic Performance.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills improvement through the application of the model Problem Based Learning (PBL) in biology learning in class XI SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in class XI SMA PGRI Pekanbaru MIA 3 TA second semester 2015/2016. When the study from April to May 2016. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIA 3 FY 2015/2016 with 23 students. The instrument used in this study is the syllabus, lesson plans and Student Assignment Sheet. The data collection technique were taken from an assessment from of students’ critical thinking skills observation and students attitudes and achievement . The results obtained from this study is the percentage of critical thinking skills of students in the first cycle of 79.7% with prediket B and category Good, increased in the second cycle amounted to 93.1% with prediket A- and category of Very Good. Absorptive capacity in the first cycle to obtain a value of 85.08 prediket B + and Good category, increased in the second cycle of 87.8% with prediket B + and Good category. The completeness of students in the first cycle of 65.21 with prediket Both B- and categories, increased in the second cycle of 82.60 with prediket B + and Good category. While the attitudes of the students earned an average score on the first cycle of 89.1% with prediket B + and Good category, increased in the second cycle of 98.1% with prediket A and category of Very Good. It can be concluded that the adoption of problem based learning (PBL) can provide a positive impact on students' critical thinking skills in school SMA PGRI pekanbaru the academic year 2015/2016.Key Words : Problem based learning, critical thinking skills, Biology

Abstract

Abstract: Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a conceptual framework that shows the relationship between three kinds of knowledge needed by the teacher or prospective teacher including technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge. This research is a development research that aims to see how the quality of the design workbook strengthening of technology knowledge for high school biology teacher. This workbook was developed from the essential indicator of Teacher Competency Test (UKG). The design phase, internal validation and trial I are conducted on biology education University of Riau. External validation and trial II are conducted at MGMP Biology Pekanbaru. The quality of workbooks is assessed from four aspects: format and graphics, illustrations, language and content. The workbook generated in this study for the validation stage by five validator validator in whole aspect is in very valid category with score 3.42 and the average value of response of 20 teachers to the workbook developed is 3.53 with very good category, so the workbook deserves to be used as a self-learning resource for strengthening technological knowledge for high school biology teachers.Keywords: Workbook, Technological Knowledge, Senior High School Biology Teacher

Abstract

Abstract: The Biological subject in class VIII has a fairly high level of difficulty and is closely related to everyday life. One of the class VIII are quite difficult to grasp and is closely related to life is the material excretion system. The characteristics of the material in this excretion system places emphasis on contextual learning process because of the demand to link between the subject matter with real events in everyday life including health. The purpose of this study is to increase understanding and knowledge of the learners about the excretion system material. This research was carried out in the laboratory of Biology Education Department PMIPA FKIP University of Riau and junior high school 23 Pekanbaru in April-August 2016. This type of research is research development using model ADDIE conducted up to the stage of development. There are 3 is LKS as developed. Data collection instruments in the research is the assessment sheets/validation is LKS, and the now the response of learners. Once LKS as developed, validated by 4 people validator then conducted tests I on 20 students 4 semesters of Biology education and pedagogy, and UR free trial II on 20 learners Class VIII.g. The validation results showed a mean score of 3 contents eligibility aspect is LKS as developed is very valid category, 4.22 average score aspects of design are valid categories, 3.97 and average score is 3.98 pedagogic aspect of the category is valid. The average score of the overall aspect of the third category is LKS is 4.06. The results of the tests showed I score average 4.33 by category. The results of the tests showed a mean score of 4.12 II with a category either. The results of the analysis of the answers on a test I shows the average value of 86 with categories either. LKS Oriented Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the material excretion system can increase understanding and knowledge about the material and the excretion system can enhance critical thinking skills class VIII junior high school.Key Words: Development, LKS, Problem Based Learning (PBL), Critical thinking, Excretion system.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of  this research was to increase critical thinking skill on the subject digestion system grade VIII junior high school. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Department of the University of Riau PMIPA FKIP and SMPN 23 Pekanbaru in March to September 2016. The research is a research development by using ADDIE model of integration to the stage of development. There are 5 LKS developed. Instruments of data collection in this study is the validation sheet LKS, and questionnaire responses of learners. After LKS developed, validated by 4 validator then the tests I in the 4th semester 20 students of biology education FKIP UR, and a second trial on 20 students of Class VIII SMPN 23 Pekanbaru. The tests showed the average score feasibility aspects of the content of 5 LKS developed very valid category is 4.21, the average score 4.34 categories designing aspect is very valid, and the mean score of the pedagogic aspect is 4.69 very valid category. The mean overall score of the fifth aspect is 4.41 LKS very valid category. I trial results showed the average score 4.21 with very good category. II trial results showed a mean score of 4.57 in very good categories. The results of the analysis of the answers to the second trial showed a mean value of 87 in good categories. LKS oriented discovery learning model can increase the understanding and knowledge about the digestion system and can increase critical thinking skill of student.
