Abstract

The current spread of the COVID-19 outbreak is so fast, causing the world to be in a state of emergency, so that the World Health Organization or WHO has declared the current status of world health in danger. Health workers as the frontline have a very important role in handling COVID-19, where they are in direct contact with infected patients/people so they are very vulnerable to being exposed and infected by the virus, which causes health workers to experience anxiety. The reason is that health workers experience anxiety because they are afraid of being infected with the virus and spreading it to their families. High anxiety can affect the body's immune system to decrease, so that health workers are more at risk of contracting it. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the anxiety of health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Baubau city regional public hospital . This research method used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional study design with a population of 274 people using a proportional random sampling technique, amounting to 163 people. Statistical test using the Chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between the use of personal protective equipment and anxiety with p value = 0.000 <0.005, there was a relationship between marital status and anxiety with p value = 0.003 <0.005 and there was a relationship between knowledge and anxiety with p value = 0.000 <0.005

Abstract

Gastritis in police patients in the working area of the Muna Police Clinic still has a high prevalence, which is still the top 5 main diseases in 2019-2021. Factors that trigger gastritis include: diet, socioeconomic, family history of gastritis, alcohol consumption, smoking, stress, and drugs. Gastritis can attack all levels of society from all levels of age and gender. This study aims to determine the risk factors for eating regularity, type of food, stress and smoking on the incidence of gastritis in Polri patients in the working area of the Muna Police Clinic in 2022. The type of research used was observational analytic with a Case Control Study design. The population in this study were all patients who checked themselves at the Muna Police Clinic from January to August 2021. The sample in this study amounted to 76 samples (38 cases and 38 controls). Sampling used two approaches, namely random and non-random sampling. The results showed that the risk factor for gastritis, namely regularity of eating, obtained p-value = 0.000, OR = 37.593, while the non-risk factor for gastritis, namely stress, obtained p-value = 0.723, OR = 1.288. The police are expected to be more aware of the factors that cause gastritis, and more importantly know how to prevent gastritis as early as possible, so that complications do not occur. And the police should be able to maintain health and maintain a good and healthy diet with balanced nutrition.

Abstract

Stress can be seen as an emotional reaction that is quite often felt during pandemics. PDSKJI conducted a survey on mental health of 1,552 respondents, as many as 80% of respondents had symptoms of psychological posttraumatic stress due to experiencing or witnessing unpleasant events related to COVID-19. One of the strategies implemented by the Ministry of Health to control COVID-19 disease is the expansion of COVID-19 screening. However, there are many rejections from the public to carry out RDT COVID-19 examinations. This study aims to find out for differences in stress based on physiological and psychological aspects of RDT COVID-19 examination on employees at Bahteramas Hospital in Southeast Sulawesi Province in 2020. This research uses a type of quantitative research with comparative design. The population in this research is 1,060 employees and a sample of 290 employees. The sampling techniques in this study used stratified random sampling propotional techniques and used Mann Whitney statistical tests. The results showed a significant difference in stress in the fiological aspect between management and non-management employees (p-value = 0.040 < 0.05) against the examination of RDT COVID-19, on the contrary there was no significant difference in stress on the psychological aspect between management employees and non-management (installation employees) (p-value = 0.356 > 0.05) to RDT COVID-19 examination. The conclusion is that there are differences in stress based on physiological aspects and no differences in stress based on psychological aspects of RDT COVID-19 examination at Bahtramas Hospital in Southeast Sulawesi Province

Abstract

The Corona virus disease (Covid-19) has been declared a global pandemic by WHO, with an alarming level of spread and severity. In order to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19, a good knowledge of the prevention of Covid-19 is needed in all elements of society so that people are able to make decisions in proper behavior to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission. This study aims to determine the Correlation between socio-demography and social media access with knowledge of Covid-19 prevention in coastal communities in Wawolesea sub-district in 2020. The research method used a cross sectional study approach with a sample of 272 people who were selected by using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. Statistical test using the Chi-square test. The results showed that the knowledge of the coastal community in the wawolesea sub-district about the prevention of Covid-19 was in the quite category of 228 (83.8%) and in the poor category of 44 (16.2%), it was found that there was no correlation between work (p value = 0.657> 0 , 05) with knowledge of Covid-19 prevention, on the other hand there is a correlation between age (p value = 0.000 <0.05), education level (p value = 0.000 <0.05) and access to social media (p value = 0.000 <0, 05 with knowledge of Covid-19 prevention. It is hoped that the local health center should provide more frequent counseling through existing media or making posters about Covid-19 prevention which can be used as information for the public to prevent the incidence of     Covid-19.
