Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and entrepreneurial knowledge on the business performance of MSMEs in the trade sector in East Belitung. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional research time. The data collection method used in this study was a questionnaire distributed to 60 MSMEs in the trading industry in East Belitung. The data processing method used in this study is partial least squares using SMARTPLS software. The results of the study show that leadership and entrepreneurial knowledge have a significant positive effect on the business performance of trading SMEs in East Belitung. Future research can use more independent variables that can affect business performance or business performance such as financial literacy, locus of control, and innovation.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan pengetahuan kewirausahaan terhadap business performance UMKM di sektor perdagangan di Belitung Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan waktu penelitian cross sectional. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 60 UMKM di industri perdagangan di Belitung Timur. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah partial least square dengan menggunakan software SMARTPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dan pengetahuan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap business performance UMKM Perdagangan di Belitung Timur. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat menggunakan lebih banyak variabel inpenden lain yang bisa berpengaruh terhadap kinerja bisnis atau business performance seperti literasi keuangan, locus of control, dan inovasi.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the role of Transformational Leadership and Job Satisfaction on Intention to Stay with Job Engagement as Mediation for PT XYZ Employees. The high sense of intention to stay for PT XYZ employees to carry out their responsibilities as employees is influenced by the transformational leadership style, job satisfaction and job engagement. The research was carried out using quantitative research methods, with a judgment sampling technique in which respondents had to meet predetermined requirements as research respondents. Respondents in this study amounted to 130 respondents. The data collection technique uses a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5. The data obtained was then analyzed and processed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique with SmartPLS 4.0 Software. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that transformational leadership has a positive effect on job engagement, job satisfaction has a positive effect on job engagement, transformational leadership has a positive effect on intention to stay mediated by job engagement, and job satisfaction has a positive effect on intention to stay mediated by job engagement. This research has benefits for companies in being able to maintain and improve transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and job engagement in order to increase employees' intention to stay, as well as become a reference for further research.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran transformational leadership dan job satisfaction terhadap intention to stay dengan job engagement sebagai mediasi pada Karyawan PT XYZ. Tingginya rasa intention to stay pada karyawan PT XYZ untuk tetap melakukan tanggung jawabnya sebagai karyawan dipengaruhi oleh gaya kepemimpinan transformational leadership, job satisfaction dan job engagement. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan teknik judgment sampling di mana responden harus memenuhi syarat yang telah ditentukan sebagai responden penelitian. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah  130 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dengan skala Likert 1–5. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dan dilakukan pengolahan menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Model (SEM)  dengan Software SmartPLS 4.0 Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa transformational leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap job engagement, job satisfaction berpengaruh positif terhadap job engagement, transformational leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap intention to stay yang dimediasi oleh job engagement, dan job satisfaction berpengaruh positif terhadap intention to stay yang dimediasi oleh job engagement. Penelitian ini memiliki manfaat bagi perusahaan untuk dapat mempertahankan dan meningkatkan gaya kepemimpinan transformational leadership, job satisfaction, dan job engagement guna meningkatkan rasa intention to stay pada karyawan, serta menjadi referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Based on interviews with the Operational Director, Human Capital and Legal Director and Finance and Accounting Director, confirmation of several issues related to organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) was obtained. In conditions of limited manpower planning, everyone is required to work more than usual, whether it's within the scope of his own work, or also work in other units. Incomplete involvement and participation of all employees, especially for programs carried out by different departments. This causes the programs or policies implemented are not optimal. There is still a lack of employee involvement and participation, especially programs related to different divisions. This study uses multiple linear regression. Involvement of organizational commitment, organizational justice and trust as factors that influence the OCB. The results show that the three factors above play an important role in realizing OCB which will have positive benefits for achieving the company's vision and mission.  Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Berdasarkan wawancara dengan Operational Director, Human Capital and Legal Director dan Finance and Accounting Director, didapatkan konfirmasi beberapa issue yang berkaitan dengan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) ini. Dalam kondisi manpower planning yang terbatas, setiap orang diperlukan untuk bekerja lebih dari biasanya, apakah itu di dalam cakupan pekerjaan dia sendiri, atau juga pekerjaan di unit lain. Keterlibatan dan partisipasi seluruh karyawan yang tidak sepenuhnya, terutama untuk program yang dilakukan oleh departemen berbeda. Hal ini menyebabkan program atau kebijakan yang dilakukan tidak maksimal. Keterlibatan dan partisipasi karyawan masih kurang, terutama program yang berkenaan dengan divisi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan multiple linear regression, dengan rumus Slovin. Keterlibatan komitmen organisasi, keadilan organisasi dan trust sebagai faktor yang memengaruhi OCB tersebut. Hasilnya terlihat bahwa ketiga faktor di atas memegang peranan penting dalam terwujudnya OCB yang akan bermanfaat positif bagi tercapainya visi dan misi perusahaan.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important aspect for the company as an effort in achieving the company's targets and goals through empowering its employees. Performance can be formed from several factors, such as discipline, motivation, and performance job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of discipline work, work motivation and job satisfaction at PT ABC. Number of samples that determined as many as 55 respondents and data processing using the PLS-SEM technique with SmartPls software. The research results obtained are that 1) Work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance at PT ABC; 2) Work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance at PT ABC; 3) Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance at PT ABC.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of 1) work environment on employee performance; 2) work environment on employee motivation; 3) leadership on employee performance; 4) leadership on employee motivation; 5) employee motivation on employee performance with the phenomenon of a decrease in customer rates as one of the benchmarks of employee performance. The research conducted was a quantitative research conducted at PT XYZ in DKI Jakarta using employees at the Directorate of Technology & Products as respondents in the research. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire measuring tool using a Likert scale 1–5. The data analysis method used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS software in processing the data. Work environment and leadership have a positive influence on employee motivation and both work environment, leadership and employee motivation have a positive influence on employee performance. This research relates to employee performance so that it can be used as material for consideration for organizations in an effort to improve employee performance and become a reference for further research.  Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh 1) lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan; 2) lingkungan kerja terhadap motivasi karyawan; 3) kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan; 4) kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi karyawan; 5) motivasi karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan fenomena adanya peningkatan Churn Rate pelanggan sebagai salah satu acuan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang dilakukan di PT XYZ yang berada di DKI Jakarta dengan menggunakan karyawan di Direktorat Teknologi & Produk sebagai responden dalam penelitian. Pengumpulan data dengan alat ukur kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert 1–5. Metode analisis data menggunakan Structural Equaition Model (SEM) dengan software SmartPLS dalam pengolahan datanya. Lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi karyawan serta baik lingkungan kerja, kepemimpinan dan motivasi karyawan memberi pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini berhubungan dengan kinerja karyawan sehingga dapat dijadikan bahan pertimbangan bagi organisasi dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja karyawan serta menjadi referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of quality of work life and job satisfaction on employee performance mediated by knowledge sharing. The reason for doing this research is based on the existence of gap research which is strengthened by the results of an observational study which states the low performance of employees working in SME’s coffee shop in Depok. This study used 144 respondents to the actual study. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale of 1–5. The data was obtained using a simple random sampling technique, where the data were taken at random without considering certain criteria. Data processing in this study uses the SmartPLS application, where the results show that the quality of work life significantly affect employee performance, job satisfaction significantly affects employee performance and knowledge sharing significantly affects employee performance. Knowledge sharing is able to mediate the effect of quality of work life and job satisfaction on employee performance.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti terkait pengaruh quality of work life dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh knowledge sharing. Alasan dilakukannya penelitian ini didasari atas adanya riset gap yang diperkuat dengan hasil studi observasi yang menyatakan rendahnya kinerja karyawan yang bekerja di UMKM coffee shop di Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan 144 responden untuk studi aktual. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner menggunakan skala likert 1–5. Data diperoleh menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, di mana data diambil secara acak tanpa mempertimbangkan kriteria-kriteria tertentu. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS, di mana hasil menunjukkan bahwa quality of work life berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan knowledge sharing berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Knowledge sharing mampu memediasi pengaruh quality of work life dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of Teamwork and Career Development on Self-Development and Employee Work Involvement of PT ABC employees. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. Sampling used a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling, where the respondents used were 135 permanent employees of PT ABC who worked in the Jakarta and Tangerang areas who had worked for more than 1 year. The data collection technique used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5. The analysis technique is Structural Equation Model (SEM) using SmartPLS 3 software. Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that teamwork has a positive and significant effect on employee self-development (H1), career development has a positive impact on employee self-development (H2), teamwork has a negative effect on employee job involvement (H3), career development has a positive effect on employee job involvement (H4), self-development has a positive effect on employee job involvement (H5), self-development is able to mediate the effect of teamwork on employee job involvement (H6), and self-development is able to mediate the effect of career development on employee job involvement (H7).Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kerjasama tim dan pengembangan karier terhadap pengembangan diri dan keterlibatan kerja karyawan Perusahaan ABC. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling yaitu dengan purposive sampling, di mana responden yang digunakan merupakan 135 karyawan tetap PT ABC yang berlokasi kerja di wilayah Jakarta dan Tangerang dengan masa kerja lebih dari satu tahun. Teknik  pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dengan skala Likert 1–5. Teknik analisis yaitu Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama tim berpengaruh positif terhadap pengembangan diri karyawan (H1), pengembangan karier berpengaruh positif terhadap pengembangan diri karyawan (H2), kerja sama tim berpengaruh negatif terhadap keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H3), pengembangan karier berpengaruh positif keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H4), pengembangan diri berpengaruh positif terhadap keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H5), pengembangan diri mampu memediasi pengaruh kerja sama tim karier terhadap keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H6), dan pengembangan diri mampu memediasi pengaruh pengembangan karier terhadap keterlibatan kerja karyawan (H7).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a positive relationship between Organizational Culture and Job Satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior through Organizational Commitment as an Intervening Variable for employees of PT ABC, Jakarta. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, where data collection is through a questionnaire process that is given online. The data collection technique uses a non-probability sampling technique, where the respondents are permanent employees who have worked for two years at PT ABC, Jakarta. The sample size for collecting questionnaire data was given to 76 respondents. Statistical data analysis is Structural Equation Modeling where data processing uses PLS software. Results, Organizational Culture has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment, Organizational Commitment has a positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Organizational Culture has not had a positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Organizational Culture has not had a positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior through the mediation of Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction does not positively influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Job Satisfaction positively influences Organizational Citizenship Behavior through the mediation of Organizational Commitment.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hubungan positif antara Budaya Organisasi dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior melalui Komitmen Organisasional sebagai Variabel Intervening terhadap  karyawan PT ABC, Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, di mana pengumpulan data melalui proses kuesioner yang diberikan secara online. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik non – probability sampling, di mana responden karyawan tetap yang telah bekerja selama dua tahun pada PT ABC, Jakarta. Jumlah sampel untuk pengumpulan data kuesioner diberikan kepada 76 responden. Analisis data statistik adalah Structural Equation Modelling di mana pengolahan data menggunakan software PLS. Hasil, Budaya Organisasi memengaruhi secara positif terhadap Komitmen Organisasional, Kepuasan Kerja memengaruhi secara positif terhadap Komitmen Organisasional, Komitmen Organisaional memengaruhi secara positif terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Budaya Organisasi tidak memengaruhi secara positif terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Budaya Organisasi tidak memengaruhi secara positif terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior melalui mediasi Komitmen Organisasional, Kepuasan Kerja tidak memengaruhi secara positif terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior dan Kepuasan Kerja memengaruhi secara positif terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior melalui mediasi Komitmen Organisasional.

Abstract

Competition in mobile-based transportation increases sharply with the many new application-based transportation providers joining the competition. To win the competition, application-based transportation providers need to find strategies to improve consumers’ intention to use their applications. This study aims to examine the impact of Perceived Value and Service Quality on Customer Behavior and Intention to Use and Online Transportation in Jakarta and its surrounding areas. This study is a quantitative study using an online survey questionnaire distributed to 190 respondents in Jakarta and its surrounding areas. This study employs Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 3.3.2 for data analysis. According to the findings of the study, perceived value positively influences customer satisfaction and intention to use mobile application-based transportation. The finding also reveals that service quality has a positive influence on customer satisfaction but has no positive influence on behavioral intention. Thus, this study empirically underscores the importance of customer satisfaction in influencing the intention to use application-based transportation. It is then recommended that mobile-based transportation companies continuously improve customer satisfaction through perceived values and service quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test brand image, E-WOM, and brand awareness that can affect the intention to buy noodle products. The population in this study were all marketplace users in Jakarta. The sample in this study was 100 respondents using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. All respondents are consumers that using Lazada to buy Lemonilo. The data collection technique used in this study used a questionnaire distributed through social media. The software used in this study is SmartPLS 3. The results of this study showed that the brand image variable having a positive and insignificant effect on the intention to buy Lemonilo healthy noodle products in Jakarta through the Lazada application. The results of this study also state that the E-WOM variable and brand awareness have a positive and significant influence on the intention to buy Lemonilo healthy noodle products in Jakarta through the Lazada application.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji citra merek, E-WOM, dan kesadaran merek dapat memengaruhi niat membeli produk mie. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengguna marketplace di Jakarta. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden dengan menggunakan metode non probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui media sosial. Software yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah SmartPLS 3. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel citra merek memiliki pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap niat membeli produk mie sehat Lemonilo di Jakarta melalui Aplikasi Lazada. Hasil dari penelitian ini juga menyatakan variabel E-WOM dan kesadaran merek memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat membeli produk mie sehat Lemonilo di Jakarta melalui Aplikasi Lazada.
