Abstract

Transformational leadership and the emergence of the U theory and the Fourth Industrial Revolution 4IR is an interesting topic to be discussed in the field of education. This paper is intended to discuss the above topic in the context of Christian education, specifically in Christian schools. The directors and heads in Christian schools are called to develop their students' competency. This in turn, leads to innovations that create new breakthroughs in the field of education that is constantly changing throughout time. Utilizing the U theory to trace the roots of the problem allows the heads of Christian schools to have an open mind, an open heart, and an open will which in turn prepares them to develop their Christian schools continually.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACTKepemimpinan transformasional dan kehadiran Teori U serta konteks Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) merupakan rangkaian menarik untuk dikaji dan dibahas dalam konteks dunia pendidikan. Pembahasan yang dilakukan dalam tulisan ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat rangkaian di atas dalam konteks pendidikan Kristen terutama sekolah Kristen. Para pemimpin dari sekolah Kristen memiliki panggilan untuk melakukan transformasi di dalam organisasinya dan mengembangkan kompetensi dari para pendidik sehingga menumbuhkan inovasi nyata yang menghasilkan terobosan-terobosan baru dan karya dalam dunia pendidikan dalam konteks zaman yang terus berubah. Upaya transformasi dari sekolah Kristen dengan merunut akar permasalahan dengan menggunakan Teori U memampukan pemimpin untuk membuka pikiran (open mind), membuka hati (open heart) dan membuka keinginan (open will) sehingga memiliki kesiapan untuk terus memajukan sekolah Kristen yang dipimpinnya dan selaras dengan visi dan misi dari sekolah Kristen itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of family education on retirement planning at the Tondano Branch Health BPSJS office, the effect of saving attitudes on retirement planning at the Tondano Health BPSJS office, and the influence of family education and saving attitudes towards retirement planning at the BPSJS office. Tondano Health Branch. This study is a causal associative study with a population of 35 members. The number of samples of 35 people was taken using a saturated sampling technique. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of family education on retirement planning at the Tondano Branch Health BPSJS office, that there is a positive and significant influence on saving attitudes towards retirement planning at the Tondano Branch Health BPSJS office, and that there is a positive and significant effect, and significant influence of family education and saving attitudes towards retirement planning at the health BPSJS office Tondano Branch. The effective contribution of family education variables and saving attitudes is 82.1% towards retirement planning.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACTPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan keluarga terhadap perencanaan pensiun di kantor BPSJS Kesehatan Cabang Tondano, pengaruh sikap menabung terhadap perencanaan pensiun di kantor BPSJS Kesehatan Tondano, dan pengaruh pendidikan keluarga dan sikap menabung terhadap perencanaan pensiun pada kantor BPJS Cabang Kesehatan Tondano. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif kausal dengan jumlah populasi 35 orang. Jumlah sampel 35 orang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan pendidikan keluarga terhadap perencanaan pensiun di kantor BPSJS Kesehatan Cabang Tondano, ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan sikap menabung terhadap perencanaan pensiun di kantor BPSJS Kesehatan Cabang Tondano, dan ada merupakan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan, dan ada pengaruh signifikan pendidikan keluarga dan sikap menabung terhadap perencanaan pensiun di BPSJS kesehatan Cabang Tondano. Kontribusi efektif variabel pendidikan keluarga dan sikap menabung sebesar 82,1% terhadap perencanaan pensiun.

Abstract

Organizational commitment affects how an employee chooses to remain a member of an organization or leave to find another company or to change place of work. As an effort to determine whether there is an influence of Empowerment, Teamwork, and Training variables on the Organizational Commitment of Administrative Employees at Private Universities in the Tangerang Region, this research was conducted. The quantitative approach was chosen as the research paradigm and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling, which was sampling based on the criteria of permanent administrative employees of Tangerang area private universities. Data collection uses Google Forms which was distributed online with a sample of 126 respondents who are permanent administrative employees at private universities in the Tangerang area. This study uses a Likert scale with 5 choices, starting from the option Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree and the data analysis uses SEM PLS with SMART-PLS software. The result of this study is that Administrative Employee Empowerment has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment, Administrative Teamwork has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment, and Administrative Employee Training has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment. With this research, at least it can provide insight to Private Universities, especially in the Tangerang Area, especially in developing the Organizational Commitment of the Administrative Section employees at Private Universities through increasing Employee Empowerment, Teamwork, and Employee Training.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACTKomitmen Organisasi memengaruhi bagaimana seorang karyawan tetap memilih menjadi anggota organisasi atau keluar untuk mencari perusahaan lain atau berpindah tempat kerja. Upaya untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh variabel Pemberdayaan, Kerja Sama Tim, dan Pelatihan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi Karyawan Tata Usaha di Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Wilayah Tangerang, maka penelitian ini dilakukan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dipilih sebagai paradigma penelitiannya dan teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling, yang merupakan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kriteria karyawan tata usaha tetap perguruan tinggi swasta wilayah Tangerang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Google Form yang disebar secara online dengan jumlah sampel 126 orang responden yang merupakan karyawan tetap tata usaha di perguruan tinggi swasta wilayah Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Likert dengan 5 buah pilihan, dimulai dari pilihan Sangat Tidak Setuju hingga Sangat Setuju dan analisis datanya menggunakan SEM PLS dengan perangkat lunak SMART-PLS. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa Pemberdayaan Karyawan Tata Usaha berpengaruh positif terhadap Komitmen Organisasi, Kerja Sama Tim Tata Usaha berpengaruh positif terhadap Komitmen Organisasi, dan Pelatihan Karyawan Tata Usaha berpengaruh positif terhadap Komitmen Organisasi. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, setidaknya dapat memberikan wawasan kepada perguruan tinggi swasta, khususnya di wilayah Tangerang terutama dalam mengembangkan Komitmen Organisasi karyawan bagian tata usaha di perguruan tinggi swasta melalui peningkatan Pemberdayaan Karyawan, Kerja Sama Tim, dan Pelatihan Karyawannya.

Abstract

An entrepreneur needs to maintain the sustainability of Natural Resources. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of perceived meaningful work and environment transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior towards the environment. This research is quantitative research with non-probability sampling method by distributing questionnaires to respondents who are all employees of Mercure and Ibis Samarinda hotels. For the pretest, the respondent's data was collected 30 respondents, while for the sample in the actual test, 222 respondents were collected. The collected data was then processed using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) and analyzed further with validity, reliability, bias, and hypotheses testing. The results of the research conducted indicate that the ETL variable has a direct effect on OCBE and also has an indirect effect on OCBE, the PMW variable as a mediating variable. Likewise, the direct effect of ETL on PWM and the direct influence of PMW on OCBE.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACTPelaku bisnis perlu menjaga keberlanjutan Sumber Daya Alam (SDA). Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pengaruh perceived meaningful work (PMW) dan environment transformational leadership (ETL) terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior towards the Environment (OCBE). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode non-probability sampling dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden yang adalah seluruh karyawan hotel Mercure dan Ibis Samarinda. Untuk pretest, terkumpul data responden sebanyak 30 responden, sedangkan untuk sampel pada actual test terkumpul 222 responden. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan alat uji Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) dan dianalisis lebih lanjut dengan validitas, reliabilitas, bias, dan hipotesis yang telah dibentuk. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa variabel ETL memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap OCBE dan juga berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap OCBE variabel PMW sebagai variabel mediasi. Demikian juga dengan pengaruh langsung ETL terhadap PWM dan pengaruh langsung PMW terhadap OCBE.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an analysis of the factors that may affect the behavior of or give rise to entrepreneurial characteristics. The lack of entrepreneurs in Indonesia becomes the focus and subject of this research as most of them hold a common mindset of “job seeker”, meaning that they would seek jobs upon finishing their degree. The author hopes that this research would be able to build the mindset of university students in general. This research relies upon the quantitative approach in which electronic questionnaires were used as a method to gather samples. Said sample amounted to 300 active Pelita Harapan University students. The data were then assessed in accordance with the validity and reliability analysis. The software used was SPSS, mainly to process the data gathered. Preliminary analysis to check its validity and reliability involves 30 of the participants’ data. Upon verification, all 300 data were then used to come up with the actual result. The result suggested that there are several factors that may affect the behavior of or give rise to entrepreneurial characteristics.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACTPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku karakteristik kewirausahaan mahasiswa perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini didasari pada fenomena masih rendahnya jumlah wirausaha di Indonesia yang disebabkan oleh pola pikir masyarakat, terutama mahasiswa yang cenderung memilih sebagai job seeker setelah lulus dari universitas. Peneliti berharap agar penelitian ini dapat membangun SDM dengan karaketeristik kewirausahaan, terutama pada mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatakan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan survei melalui elektronik kuesioner sebagai metode pengumpulan sampel. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 300 mahasiswa aktif di Universitas Pelita Harapan. Data diolah dengan analisis validitas dan reliabilitas dengan menggunakan software SPSS sebagai aplikasi pengolahan data. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tujuh variabel berpengaruh secara siginifikan untuk membangun karakteristik perilaku kewirausahaan pada mahasiswa Universitas Pelita Harapan, yaitu: taking calculated risks, persistence, commitment, goal of definition, systematic planning, persuasion, dan independence.

Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 has caused the hospitality, travel, and tourism industry around the world to face a major loss. One way to minimize the loss in these sectors is by implementing job redundancies. This option was also implemented by one of the hotels in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. However, job redundancies are not implemented without costs. Employees will experience continuous fear or job insecurity which will result in employees’ willingness to find a new job or intention to leave. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out if job redundancies influence the intention to leave with job insecurity as the intervening variable towards the survivors of the redundancy program at the hotel. This research is using the quantitative method as its research approach. The data collection method is conducted by distributing an online questionnaire. The data has passed the validity and reliability tests. The first until third hypotheses tests are using t-test while the fourth hypothesis is using Sobel test. The results of the research show that job redundancies influence job insecurity by 57.9%. Both job insecurity and job redundancies influence the intention to leave by 72%. Finally, job redundancies indirectly influence the intention to leave through job insecurity. The recommendations are to conduct business process re-engineering or service process re-designing to maintain the viability of the business, instead of opting for job redundancies. Job redundancies should be the last resort when previous options are not working as this will affect employee turnover rate in the future.

Abstract

The basis for this research is about the dynamics of job satisfaction of F&B employees in Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is known through a preliminary survey that there are problems with employee job satisfaction for each aspect above 50%. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of empowerment, teamwork, and training on job satisfaction both simultaneously and partially by using a cross sectional study design and making 100 F&B employees in Surabaya as respondents, a survey using Google Forms with a Likert scale and for data analysis carried out multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 21 software. The results of the study prove that simultaneously Empowerment, Teamwork, and Training have a positive effect on Job Satisfaction, while partially Empowerment has a negative effect on Job Satisfaction, Teamwork has a positive effect on Job Satisfaction and Training has a positive effect on Job Satisfaction. The importance of implementing Empowerment, Teamwork and Training will create an increase in employee Job Satisfaction during the Covid-19 Pandemic if it is carried out in harmony with employee expectations during the Covid-19 Pandemic.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Dasar dilakukan penelitian ini adalah tentang dinamika kepuasan kerja karyawan F&B di Surabaya pada masa pandemi Covid-19, yang diketahui melalui survey pendahulan bahwa terjadi permasalahan Kepuasan Kerja karyawan atas masing-masing aspek di atas 50%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empiris efek Pemberdayaan, Kerja Tim dan Pelatihan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja baik secara simultan maupun parsial dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional study dan menjadikan 100 karyawan F&B di Surabaya sebagai responden, survey menggunakan Google Forms dengan skala Likert dan untuk analisis data dilakukan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa secara bersamaan Pemberdayaan, Kerja Tim, dan Pelatihan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan secara parsial Pemberdayaan berpengaruh negatif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, Kerja Tim berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dan Pelatihan berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Pentingnya implementasi Pemberdayaan, Kerja Tim dan Pelatihan akan menciptakan peningkatan Kepuasan Kerja karyawan di masa pandemi Covid-19 jika dilakukan dengan selaras sesuai dengan harapan karyawan di masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Indonesia has the least number of entrepreneurs of only 3,10% of the population in 2020, compared to other countries, which have above 4% on average. The goal of this study is to identify the factors that influence the development of a sustainable entrepreneurial mindset in college students at a private university in Indonesia with the entrepreneurial climate at the university as the moderating variable. The study adopted a quantitative type of research with purposive sampling. The data was collected using an online survey distributed to management students at the private university. The total number of respondents recruited is 175 college students. SMART PLS 3 was used as a tool for data processing for validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing. The study revealed an interesting result: entrepreneurship curriculum and supply teaching model have a positive effect on the entrepreneurial mindset. Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Indonesia sebagai negara dengan jumlah populasi 271,35 juta di tahun 2020 hanya memiliki pengusaha 3,10% dari populasi, jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan negara tetangga lain yang rata-rata memiliki lebih dari 4% pengusaha dibandingkan populasinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang memengaruhi pembentukan pola pikir kewirausahaan pada mahasiswa di sebuah universitas swasta di Indonesia, dengan kondisi kewirausahaan sebagai variabel moderasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei secara online yang didistribusikan kepada mahasiswa program manajemen di universitas swasta tempat penelitian dilakukan. Jumlah responden yang terjaring adalah 175 mahasiswa. Data diproses dengan menggunakan SMART PLS 3 untuk melakukan tes validitas, reliabilitas dan hipotesis. Penelitian menemukan bahwa kurikulum kewirausahaan dan model pembelajaran ‘supply’ memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan pola pikir kewirausahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Work Life Balance, Self-Efficacy and Organizational Commitment on Burnout in working students. The research approach used in this research is quantitative research. The method used is a survey method by distributing questionnaires to Parallel Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Esa Unggul University, Kebon Jeruk. The questionnaires collected were 119 respondents, the data was then processed by the multiple linear regression method. The results of data analysis carried out with the help of SPSS 26 software for Windows. From the results of the study, the Work Life Balance variable has a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 with an Unstandardized Beta value of 0.582 which means that Work Life Balance has a positive influence on Burnout in working students. The Self-Efficacy variable (X2) has a significance value of 0.009 <0.05 with an Unstandardized Beta value of -0.257, meaning that the Self-Efficacy variable has a negative effect on Burnout in working students. The Organizational Commitment variable (X3) has a significance value of 0.878 with an Unstandardized Beta value of -0.017, meaning that the Organizational Commitment variable has a negative effect on Burnout. From the F test table, the F test value is 22.831 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. These results mean that there is a simultaneous influence of the three variables Work Life Balance, Self-Efficacy, and Organizational Commitment on Burnout in working students.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Work Life Balance, Self-Efficacy dan Komitmen Organisasional terhadap Burnout pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. Pendekatan riset yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan metode survey dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada Mahasiswa Paralel Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Esa Unggul, Kebon Jeruk. Kuesioner yang terkumpul sebanyak 119 responden, data tersebut kemudian diolah dengan metode regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis data yang dilakukan dengan bantuan software SPSS 26 for Windows. Dari hasil penelitian, variabel Work Life Balance memiliki nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 dengan nilai Unstandardized Beta sebesar 0,582 yang dapat diartikan Work Life Balance memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Burnout pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. Pada variabel Self-Efficacy (X2) memiliki nilai signifikasi 0,009 < 0,05 dengan nilai Unstandardized Beta sebesar -0,257, artinya variabel Self-Efficacy berpengaruh negatif terhadap Burnout pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. Pada variabel Komitmen Organisasional (X3) memiliki nilai signifikasi 0,878 dengan nilai Unstandardized Beta sebesar -0,017, artinya variabel Komitmen Organisasional berpengaruh negatif terhadap Burnout. Dari tabel Uji F didapat nilai uji F sebesar 22.831 dengan nilai signifikan 0.000 < 0.05. Hasil tersebut mengartikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara simultan ketiga variabel Work Life Balance, Self-Efficacy, dan Komitmen Organisasional terhadap Burnout pada mahasiswa yang bekerja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reward and punishment on work motivation and organizational commitment of employees at PT XYZ company. This study uses quantitative methods and non-probability sampling techniques, where samples taken using purposive sampling totalling 130 employees. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale which was then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique on SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study prove that organizational commitment has no effect on employee motivation and performance, while employee empowerment and reward and punishment have a positive influence on employee motivation and performance. The importance of implementing employee empowerment and reward and punishment will create a high level of motivation and performance for employees if it is carried out according to employee expectations.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh reward dan punishment terhadap motivasi kerja dan komitmen organisasi karyawan pada perusahaan PT XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan teknik non-probability sampling, di mana sampel yang diambil menggunakan purposive sampling yang berjumlah 130 karyawan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) pada software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa komitmen organisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan kinerja karyawan, sedangkan employee empowerment serta reward dan punishment memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi dan kinerja karyawan. Pentingnya implementasi employee empowerment dan reward dan punishment akan menciptakan tingkat motivasi dan kinerja yang tinggi terhadap karyawan jika dilakukan sesuai harapan karyawan.
