Abstract

The crude palm oil (CPO) industry is one of the leading industrial sectors in Indonesia. The diversification of derivative products from the CPO refinery is very high (multi-product). The challenges of inefficiency in the distribution network of refined CPO products include multi-product, transportation distances, transportation costs, uncertainty in the supply chain, and traceability of products sent, volatile demand and having to adjust production volumes without incurring significant costs. actors and is a challenge that researchers also face. Therefore supply chain flexibility is a problem that arises in practice. The purpose of this research is to design a flexible supply chain network of CPO refinery products. Metaheuristic algorithm Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used in solving optimization challenges. Distribution network system entities are analyzed and then made into a mathematical form of Mixed Integer Linear Programming. Furthermore, the model was built with the help of the GA algorithm which was developed in the Java programming language using the MOEA Framework. The verification and validation of the model was carried out with a case study in the CPO refinery industry. The optimization results are evaluated for twelve periods to see the flexibility of the supply chain network design model that has been made the minimum cost for twelve simulation periods is Rp. 636,675,671 in the 9th period and the flexibility of the model for twelve periods is considered flexible because the model is able to meet demand with network utility above 100% in 8 simulation periods.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company in the field of wood processing that produces furniture products and raw materials for rambung. On the production floor of PT. XYZ there is a buildup of materials during the production process. This stacking process does not add value. This results in delays for the next process or can be called waste of delay. Another problem is the backflow of material transfer (backtracking) where the movement of the material flow through several stations affects the completion of the product. In solving these problems, a lean manufacturing approach is used to identify and reduce activities that do not add value during the production process and shorten lead times. The simulated annealing algorithm method is used to fix the backflow problem on the layout of the production floor at PT. XYZ. The results showed that there was a decrease in the displacement moment of 43.44%, an increase in production capacity with an actual process cycle efficiency of 44.98% with an average production of 48 units/day and a proposed process cycle efficiency of 63.91% with an average production - an average of 63 units / day after repairs with lean manufacturing.

Abstract

In accordance with the regulations that have been determined by the office to obtain a promotion, criteria are needed to determine who will be elected to receive a promotion. Promotions are carried out with the aim of providing feedback on the performance produced by a civil servant during a certain period. To help determine the application of someone who deserves to be promoted to a Decision Support System, the Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) model is used. In this study, a case was raised, namely looking for the best alternative based on predetermined criteria using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to calculate the FMADM model in this case. The fuzzy used uses a fuzzy system rule, namely fuzzification, inference and defuzzification. The FMADM model was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, namely those who have the right to choose employees to be promoted to their positions according to the specified criteria. The research was conducted by finding the weight value for each attribute, then a ranking process was carried out which would determine the optimal alternative, namely the best civil servant.

Abstract

Memes generally in the form of images that are the result of the production of people who are used to comment on an event followed by certain templates from popular online images. The spread of memes has become phenomenal and has become very popular in recent years, ranging from lightly charged memes such as memes about jokes, meme quotes to memes with heavy content such as memes about government, education, and the latest news. So that a system is made that can classify types of memes into negative or positive memes by applying the image process and OCR Tesseract combined with the Naive Bayes algorithm. OCR Tesseract is needed to recognize text contained in an image, while the Naive Bayes Algorithm is an algorithm used to find the highest probability value to classify the test data in the most appropriate category. In this study, the test data are meme documents. The results obtained from this application are the level of accuracy of meme classification analyzed is 73.3% from 15 test data and the average classification process time is 1.328 ms. Memes that have been classified for accuracy value depend on the results of OCR using the tesseract engine

Abstract

The disease is very susceptible to occur in children under five because the immune system in children under five has not been fully developed. Lack of knowledge about toddlers' illnesses as well as the symptoms experienced frighten parents. Information needs that are very fast from an expert to deal with problems or diseases of children under five expected by parents or the community. So that is what drives the development of a software application, namely the expert system for identification of children under five. An expert system for identification of toddlers is made as a tool to diagnose diseases experienced by children under five by using the symptoms experienced by children under five as a tool to detect diseases experienced by children under five. The system can identify 5 types of diseases with 23 symptoms of the disease. This expert system uses methods for developing problem identification, system design, implementation, and testing. Inference in this expert system uses the Bayes theorem method. This system is built with Visual Basic and Microsoft access as the database. The results of the consultation with this system indicate that the system is able to determine the disease and treatment solutions and the initial treatment that must be done, based on the symptoms previously chosen by the user.
