Abstract

Ultrasonic sensors are widely used in various fields of application such as car alarm systems, automatic door controls, measuring the level of viscosity of liquids, measuring the tensile force on screws and others. In this study, ultrasonic sensors were applied to manufacture digital distance measuring devices that resonate at a frequency of 40 KHz above the threshold of human hearing. Ultrasonic sensors are made of piezoelectric material which has two properties, namely direct piezoelectric properties and reverse piezoelectric properties, then the sensor will change the physical quantity to electronic quantity. The principle of this tool is shooting pulses from the transmitter with the TX sensor until it hits the object to be measured until it returns to the receiver with the RX sensor. By measuring the length of time it takes for the transmitted wave to return to the sensor, then calculates the target distance using the speed of sound in the medium (air), then the conversion value will be obtained in the form of the distance. Object detection by ultrasonic sensors is influenced by several factors such as the characteristics or ability of the sensor system to reach objects, the surface area of ??objects and environmental conditions such as air humidity and temperature. This tool uses a seven/segment display as a display of measured distance values, with changes in distance every 0.01 meters, with the closest detectable measuring distance of 5 cm and the farthest measuring distance of 300 cm. Abstract

Image visualization is very much needed in a study. To obtain this visualization, it can be done in various ways. One of them is by utilizing ultrasonic waves to represent the shape of an object. In this paper, it will be revealed how a signal or ultrasonic wave can be converted into data in the form of a visualization display that can be understood by humans. Imaging the shape of objects using ultrasonic waves is a short analysis of how ultrasonic waves through signal processing can produce data, which in this case is an image. The yarn* system design used is a combination of hardware and software UrLrin,fS , Ultrasonic Transmitter and Receiver, MC68HC908GP32 microcontroller, MC74HC595A shift register, PPI 8255 interface and uepeIr^tn^0mpUter Se6an^^ The software used is \VinIDE_GP32 and Borland C++ Builder version 4. This system starts working when the microcontroller gets a response from the computer. The microcontroller will function as a system controller and data processor. The data obtained from the ultrasonic receiver is then processed to be converted into grayscale color. The data is then sent to the computer via the MC74HC595A and PPI 8255. The final image results are obtained by rearranging the data based on the order of pixels!. In this study the object used as a reflective object is a toy candle in the form of a block. cubes, spheres and prisms. The ultrasonic firing distance is selected 2cm, 5cm and 9cm. The final image obtained is a 2D image with a canvas size of 10 x 10 pixels and a gray scale image sharpening technique.

Abstract

The telephone is a practical, easy, fast, and reliable means of communication. However, when using the telephone, problems often arise in terms of costs. The lack of control over telephone users in using pulses is one of the obstacles, because then telephone pulses do not feel a dramatic increase from the initial calculation. Telephone data recording technology that uses the DTMF (Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) method and PPI 8255 as an interface can be used to overcome this. We can use this technology application to create a tool that can monitor telephone usage time through a Personal Computer. So that by doing so, home telephones or government and private institutions are protected from spikes in credit usage. From this final project obtained a monitoring system for telephone usage through a Personal Computer both for incoming and outgoing calls in terms of data recording and usage time. This system can also limit or block unwanted outgoing telephone numbers at any time without having to stand by the phone.

Abstract

The bomb terror that occurred in various regions is very troubling, because it causes us to feel anxious when we go anywhere. Bombs which are usually made of metal must be detected by a device called a metal detector "Tanaan" which can detect the presence of metal either embedded in metal or covered in other materials other than metal such as in suitcases or bags. On this occasion a metal detector with using the "Beat Freauencv Oscillator" method. The metal detector with this method uses two oscillators, namely the search coil and the reference oscillator. Inside the search coil oscillator there is a sensor in the form of a coil of copper wire and email where the frequency of the search coil oscillator is in, will change when the sensor is on. a certain distance adjacent to the metal. While the reference oscillation, has. Is a stable frequency. When a signal with frequency. If the signal generated by the search coil oscillator is mixed (mixed) with the signal generated by the reference oscillator, a pure frequency and both frequencies will be produced which can be heard by humans. The resulting sound is like a tapping sound with a certain rhythm and is often known as a heat note.

Abstract

Purwoceng (Pimpinella Alpina Molk.) is a native plant of Indonesia. This plant contains potential antioxidants in the form of alkaloids, glycosides, coumarins, triterpenoids-steroids, and saponins. These bioactive compounds are useful as aphrodisiacs, diuretics, and tonics (capable of increasing the body's immune system). Purwoceng-based functional drinks will go through a drying process. This process will result in a decrease in antioxidants in purwoceng. To reduce the loss of antioxidants contained in purwoceng, proper drying is the main key in producing purwoceng-based functional beverage products. The aims of this study were: (1) to determine the characteristics and antioxidant activity of purwoceng during drying to produce functional drinks to increase the body's immune system. and (2) obtaining a drying formula for dried purwoceng products to produce functional drinks to increase the body's immune system. This research method is experimental. This research was divided into four stages, namely: (1) determination of the formulation temperature for drying purwoceng, (2) physico-chemical testing after drying, (3) reducing the dimensions of dried purwoceng, and (4) physico-chemical testing after changing the dimensions of dried purwoceng. . The experimental design used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors. The first factor is the drying temperature of purwoceng, while the second factor is whole and counting. Both factors consist of 3 levels with 3 replications so that there are a total of 27 experimental combination units. Observational data were analyzed by analysis of variance (F test) and if they were significantly different, it was continued with the DMRT test at an accuracy level of 5%. The results showed that the best moisture content was the water content of dry purwoceng drying with the lowest value at a temperature of 70? (T4) with a value of whole pieces (P0) 27.95 and chopped pieces (P1) with a value of 26.53. The best pH for drying purwoceng tea is at a temperature of 70? (T4) with whole pieces (P0) getting a value of 6.85, while chopped pieces (P1) get a value of 6.77. The best yield in purwoceng drying is the least yield at 70? (T4). The best antioxidant test results are those that have the highest value at a temperature of 70? (T4). The best test for phenol content is with the highest value at a temperature of 70 (T4). The organoleptic test on dried purwoceng steeping with crystalline coconut sugar got the best values, including: color test with a value of 5, fragance test with a value of 5, and taste test with a value of 4.84.

Abstract

The effectiveness of a transportation system depends on its ability to support the reliable movement of people, goods, and vehicles from one place to another. An urban traffic system is an important yet complex transportation system composed of vehicles, pedestrians, traffic lights, and a traffic network structure. Existing traffic lights are usually configured with a fixed cycle, and do not take into account specific traffic conditions. Such a configuration is very inefficient. When a large event is held during rush hours, it inevitably gives rise to traffic congestions. The purpose of this research is to produce a system for simulating traffic lights base on predetermined four criterias in order to reduce coongestion. The four criterias are intersections amount, vehicle density in a certain period of time, road width and one way street. Output of this system are engineering simulation and traffic light regulation at the intersection. The problem discussed and worked on in this research is set the time of traffic lights or the time of the red lights and green lights which are at the three intersection and four intersection. The analysis phase is to analyze the process at Surakarta Transportation and Information Agency in traffic lights. The next step is to analyze the weaknesses of the system and analyze the needs of the system being developed. The developed system can produce traffic light simulations and traffic engineering at intersections that includes setting the time the lights are red and green, the green lights are on at the same time and the rules for turn left may go.

Abstract

There are so many local entertainment tourism objects in the Probolinggo Regency area, this is not spared for the local government to apply an entertainment tax to the taxpayer sector in accordance with the amount of income. However, there are still entertainment tax objects whose ticket sales use a manual system where tickets and taxpayer payments as well as SPTPD reports (Regional Tax Returns) are all written manually. One of them is the Ayu Rejeki Swimming Pool Tourism Object. This is considered ineffective on the part of the taxpayer, and the large amount of tax paid is less accurate on the part of the Probolinggo Regency regional government revenue agency. To overcome this, tax monitoring activities are carried out at the tax object so that the amount of tax deposit paid is in accordance with the results of ticket sales revenue for the tax object. In order to support monitoring activities, a special application was created for Pool Taxpayers Ayu Fortune in the form of Android-based e-Tickets and real-time transactions. The method used to create this e-Ticket application is the REST API; HTTP request methods GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE. The e-Ticket application, which has real-time transaction capabilities, directly records the number of transactions or income in the tax object to the regional tax monitoring dashboard (this will later become the taxpayer's e-SPTPD report) Kab. Probolinggo. Application testing that has been used states that the system records transactions in real time. So it can be concluded that the e-Ticket application is very profitable or very good for both parties with transaction efficiency and automatic SPTPD reports. The Probolinggo Regency regional government revenue agency will also benefit from increased accuracy of tax payments from taxpayers.based on the assessment of the admin or user of this e-ticket application, it gets a score of 95% so that it is an application in the "very good" category.
