Abstract

This journal discusses the importance of information in everyday life and the challenges of finding specific information in the digital era where large amounts of data are available. An effective information retrieval system is needed to assist users in finding the information they need. This paper focuses on the implementation of an information retrieval system for searching news articles based on user keywords using the Vector Space Model (VSM) algorithm, which is commonly used in information retrieval systems. The system indexes and analyzes news articles using VSM to generate a list of relevant documents based on user keywords. The goal of this research is to explain how this system can help users find news articles that meet their needs and to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of information retrieval systems, as well as potential future developments in this field. This paper provides valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in the field of information retrieval systems.

Abstract

Web-based sales programs are software applications designed to assist users in managing their online sales business. This program has features that include product management, customer management, sales management, stock management, sales reports, payment integration, and security. Through product management, users can add, edit and remove products from the program.  Customer management allows users to manage customer information, such as name, address and purchase history. Sales management allows users to create, edit and delete sales, while stock management allows users to track product stock and receive alerts when a product is low on stock. Sales reports provide users with an overview of their business performance in the form of graphs or tables. Integration with payment services such as PayPal or Stripe allows customers to easily make payments online. Finally, program security is very important to ensure that customer data and transactions are safe from security threats such as hacking or data theft. In order to create an effective web-based sales program, it is important to consider an intuitive and easy-to-use user interface and ensure that the program is easily accessible and usable via the internet. By using a web-based sales program, users can increase their business efficiency and improve their customer's experience in shopping online.

Abstract

Plants are one of the sources of feed for honey bees to carry out their lives. Currently, the identification of honey-producing plants still needs to be carried out. This research examines the types of plant species used as a source of food for Trigona sp. bees at Royal Honey Sakah in Gianyar, Bali. Qualitative descriptive research uses observation, documentation, and direct interviews with agro-tourism owners. Royal Honey Sakah's investigation will continue until May 2022. As a result, Royal Honey Sakah provides several types of plants as a feed source for Trigona spp. bees. Red Santos (Xanthostemon novoguineensis), which has the largest population, is followed by santos lemon (Xanthostemon chrysanthus), Bidarasari (Porana volubilis), red Kaliandra (Calliandra calothyrsus), bridal tears (Antigonon leptopus), Batavia (Jatropha intergerrima), and princess's palm (Veitchia merillii). The plant produces nectar that is much needed by bees. The number of honey bees depends heavily on the availability of nectar from plants.

Abstract

Targeting the number thought in a list is a common problem in computer science and is commonly implemented with the search algorithm. Numerical math games are a big thing for all of us. One of the really challenging games is targeting the number thought by the opponent. Therefore, the purpose of our study is to find the desired number through the binary search algorithm. For this study, we developed a pseudocode in the Python programming language, which gives the desired result followed after several successful steps. Our study results show that the algorithm was very efficient in solving the problem of finding the intended natural.

Abstract

In this work high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used to isolate and study the components of plants Eruca sativa and Eruca vesicaria, both are belonging to the family Brassicaceae. The extractions have done using Soxhlet apparatus. However, the result shows that there are some different in the compounds for each. The Eruca extracts are a powerful antioxidant agent and the analysis of both plant samples using the HPLC chromatogram with standard sample shows that the extracts of both plants contains an antioxidant compounds. The antibacterial activities of the extracts were tested against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and the activity was good towards the selected bacteria. In addition, the extracts show a good antifungal activity towards candida albicans).

Abstract

Cold plasma is the fourth state of matter it can be generated using different types of gases like argon or helium or other gases by applying electrical field to get plasma with a temperature lower than 40degree so it's considered safe to be used in human without affecting the normal body cells. Recently cold plasma came to be known as one of the most important technologies in medicine and pharmaceutical sciences. In this study we will be focusing on discussing wounds, wounds healing, different methods that help in wound care and the important role of cold plasma in accelerating the wound healing process by reviewing all the recent studies in this subject to offer a full understanding, this study showed the cold plasma has the ability to improve and accelerate wounds healing through specific mechanisms which help in cell migration and proliferation in addition to increase the vascularization at the wound side and help in gathering the fibroblasts and keratinocytes and the production of reactive nitrogen and oxygen species (RNS,ROS) and this encourages the future researches and in-vevo studies to prove its efficiency in other medical  fields and make use of its many effects like antiseptic, antimicrobial, anti-tumor  and also its many application in dental field like endodontic treatment, antibacterial in dental caries and implants.

Abstract

Data processing in a computer system involves a series of important steps carried out by the processor. Data from input devices, such as keyboards or sensors, is received and converted into a format that the digital system can understand. Via the data bus and address bus, data is forwarded to the processor for processing. The processor retrieves instructions from memory, translates them, and executes those instructions. The results are stored back in memory or sent via the data bus to the output device. This data is then routed through the output controller and, if necessary, converted to a format appropriate to the output device. During the output process, data is conveyed to an output device such as a monitor screen or printer, followed by the execution of appropriate actions. This entire process occurs in a matter of time quickly and repeatedly according to the program instructions executed by the computer. A deep understanding of the relationship between input, processing and output is the key to optimizing computer system performance. The processor, as the processing center, plays a crucial role in bridging the connection between hardware and software to create an effective and efficient computing experience.

Abstract

This research delves into the impact of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model on students' independent learning processes and social studies learning achievement. The study employs a quasi-experimental design, involving both experimental and control groups from middle and high school levels. The Jigsaw Type model, an extension of Elliot Aronson's original Jigsaw method, is implemented to assess its influence on collaborative learning, individual accountability, and academic outcomes. Quantitative data, including pre and post-assessment scores, are subjected to statistical analyses, revealing statistically significant improvements in social studies achievement within the experimental group. Concurrently, qualitative data derived from surveys, teacher observations, and student reflections highlight positive perceptions and collaborative dynamics during Jigsaw Type sessions. The findings suggest a positive correlation between the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model and enhanced social studies learning achievement. Additionally, the model demonstrates efficacy in fostering independent learning skills, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and autonomy in tandem. This research contributes to the existing literature by specifically examining the Jigsaw Type model within the context of social studies education. The study advances our understanding of the nuanced relationship between cooperative learning, individual autonomy, and academic success.
