Abstract

This study is to determine the location of the difficulty of complex variable courses. Complex variable courses require a strong understanding, high concentration, good learning readiness, reasoning power and higher order logic in understanding direct objects. The direct objects referred to are Facts, Concepts, Skills, and Principles. In addition to direct objects in obtaining maximum results, indirect objects are needed. Indirect objects that are meant are tools used in the form of media, support and encouragement from others in obtaining good results. The results of the mid-semester grades for the 2014/2015 academic year were about 13% of students who got good grades and the rest were not good. In fact, this complex variable course is the main course of several courses. Another fact is that in the 2019/2020 semester VII, there are 35% in the poor category and 50% sufficient and the rest are good and very good. From 35% of students with poor learning outcomes took remedial, 1 person graduated with sufficient marks, while the rest did not pass. The specific objectives of the research are 1) to determine the mastery in complex variable courses, 2) the location of the difficulty and difficulty factors of complex variables, 3) to know the mastery and difficulty of indirect objects. This type of research approach is descriptive qualitative. Research wants to describe and describe how the actual event. The research was conducted in the Complex Variable Analysis course, Semester VII, implementation October-January and a total of 12 subjects. Techniques for obtaining data from observations, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique, presenting data, reducing and drawing conclusions. Conclusion,The difficulty of students lies in the facts and concepts that exist in the direct object. In the interview session, 71.42% said that the difficulty factor was the mastery of facts and concepts. In online implementation, students experience percentage difficulties when writing symbols and operating the media used. This is a new problem for mathematics students in achieving good learning outcomes with objective assessment standards.

Abstract

Nigeria ranks among the highest consumers of marijuana global and the youths are among the highest demographic of consumers. But there is dearth of evidence that people know about the dangers inherent in being addicted to marijuana. This study examined public knowledge of marijuana addiction and risk of psychosis mental health outcome among youths in Calabar. The survey method through the distribution of self-administered semi structured was used to elicit data from a sample of 384, selected from Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria using the stratified, purposive and random sampling technique. Data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics using such as frequency distribution, percentages, figures and inferential statistics in the form of independent T-test. Results revealed that there is public knowledge of the marijuana addiction and psychotic. there is need for the government and its Drug enforcement agency to formulate drastic laws and put in place punitive measures that will curb the distribution, sale and consumption of marijuana

Abstract

The cynomolgus macaque (Macaca fascicularis) is a primate species that socially lives in many adult males and females. The number of individuals in each troop (group size) is different. Long-tailed macaque habitats were found in several locations in Banyumas Regency, reported to be in Mount Slamet, Cikakak-Wangon, Kalisalak-Kebasen, and the Dieng Mountains. This review article will explain the group size of long-tailed macaques whose habitat is in several Banyumas Regencies, Central Java, Indonesia. The results are in a group size of long-tailed macaque in Banyumas Regency varied and consisted of several troops. Further research is needed to determine the cause of the distribution of long-tailed macaques found in several areas in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia.

Abstract

As the economy develops in Buton Regency, construction projects are increasing. However, not all projects in progress are going according to the targeted plan. For example, the construction of the Multipurpose Building in the Takawa Buton office complex which was built from 2016 until now has not been realized. Apart from that, there are also other projects such as the road connecting Gonda and Lapodi Village in Pasarwajo Subdistrict, the road connecting Siontapina and Sangiarano Villages in South Lasalimu Subdistrict, Kamaru Capital Road in Lasalimu Subdistrict, Bonetiro Village road in Kapontori Subdistrict, etc. are still pending. in the process. This type of research is a quantitative research, where the data is processed and tested with a statistical approach. Descriptive research that provides an overview of a situation where every problem and subject will be taught systematically, actually and accurately with a deductive discussion technique where the discussion starts from general things to more specific things. There are two methods used, namely validation test and reliability test. The solution to the factors that cause delays in construction projects in the Buton Regency area is that the unavailability of equipment can hinder the project's progress. The solution is not to rely on just one vendor. Make a list of vendors who can provide the necessary tools during the project. Make sure the vendors can provide everything on time

Abstract

Peduli Lindung application as a form of government policy in the context of handling Covid-19. The level of usability in an application is really needed to see the usefulness of the application itself. The analysis is carried out in the form of a fine-grained sentiment analysis based on a five-star review. Models used in conducting the analysis in this study using Naïve Bayes. Data used in get it through Google Play Store until April 2022. Rating 1 has the most number from other ratings, namely as many as 467 reviews and rating 4 has the lowest number, namely 55 reviews. The data is classified as negative as many as 146 data, a lot of data are classified as negative classified as true positive as many as 30 data, and data classified as neutral as many as 30 data, with classification accuracy still at 73%. The results obtained by the community tend to show words that refer to the problems that exist in the application.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the difficulty of understanding students' mathematical concepts on number pattern material in class VIII B students of MTs Muallimin Muhammadiyah Makassar. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach involving three subjects with categories of a high, medium, and low concept understanding abilities in class VIII B MTs Muallimin Muhammadiyah Makassar. The research method used is test questions given to three subjects obtained based on recommendations from a mathematics teacher. From the results of the study, it was found that the difficulty of understanding concepts possessed by students with the category of high concept understanding is being able to complete the test questions given and fulfill three indicators of concept understanding, namely classifying objects according to their nature, applying concepts and presenting concepts in various representative forms using, utilizing and choose a particular procedure or operation. For the difficulty of understanding the medium concept with the subject of the category of medium concept understanding, it can be concluded that the subject meets two indicators of concept understanding, namely classifying objects according to their nature and being able to apply the concept the three indicators of conceptual understanding.
