Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan faktor pencetus terjadinya stroke. Menumbuhkan kesadaran dan kewaspadaan diri sangat penting dalam upaya pencegahan terjadinya komplikasi suatu penyakit. Self awareness mengenai pentingnya melakukan deteksi dini dapat menjadi upaya untuk mengurangi risiko terjadinya stroke pada orang yang menderita hipertensi. Salah satu metode deteksi dini untuk penderita stroke adalah metode BE-FAST. Metode BE-FAST adalah Balance (keluhan kehilangan keseimbangan atau pusing atau kepala yang berat sehingga cenderung berpegangan pada sesuatu atau duduk Kegiatan pengabdian masyakat ini dilakukan dalam bentuk promosi kesehatan melalui edukasi tentang BE-FAST yang disampaikan dengan metode ceramahbertujuan untuk meningkatkan self awareness terhadap deteksi dini stroke pada penyandang hipertensi. Kegiatan ini dihadiri diikuti 27 peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata jawaban benar peserta meningkat dari sebelum edukasi rata-rata 4 meningkat menjadi 8 setelah edukasi. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan, diharapkan penyandang hipertensi memiliki self awareness yang tinggi terhadap deteksi dini guna menurunkan risiko terjadinya stroke.

Abstract

   Processed Corn Business so far is very promising for those who cultivate it. If you look at the competitors who are engaged in the same business, there are already quite a lot. With better taste innovations, beautiful and attractive sizes, economical prices, and most importantly healthy and hygienic by providing attractive packaging and labels so that partner products are able to compete and sell well in the market. With the Processed Corn business (corn lunkhead, corn chips, popcorn, etc.) Home Processed Corn Industry Business Group Tonasa Village, Sanrobone District, Takalar Regency which already has regular customers will increase its marketing by making attractive packaging and labels to find markets and even agents who want to sell it, so there will be many who help to develop this corn processing business. The problems faced are (1) not yet given good packaging for processed corn products that are marketed and (2) not yet given labeling to introduce their products.

Abstract

Covid-19 is still a hot topic of discussion. Many things have been attempted by the government to combat this. But apart from that, there are more important things that should be the basis for fighting COVID-19, namely knowledge about the Covid-19 pandemic, especially for children. If someone already has knowledge about the COVID- 19 pandemic they are currently facing, then each individual will naturally take action to prevent COVID-19. This lack of knowledge is a problem at the Rodhatul Jannah Orphanage in Tarakan City, so it is important to hold education. The service method is by Lectures/counseling, Discussions and questions and answers through snakes and ladders game. The result of this activity is that the orphans who receive education are very enthusiastic and active in counseling based on snakes and ladders games so that they are committed to always implementing the Covid-19 prevention protocol. From these results it can be concluded that media games are very effective in providing education to children.
