Abstract

AbstractThis research is grounded in the premise that education's primary objective is to uphold the oneness of God, which requires educators to be skilled in implementing teaching systems. Abdul Muthalib Muhyiddin, in his book Sendi Iman, first published in 1971, also presented a teaching theory, the relevance of which needs to be explored. The aim of this study is to examine Abdul Muthalib Muhyiddin's perspective on teaching systems in Sendi Iman and its relevance to contemporary teaching theories. The study employs a literature review method, encompassing both analysis and synthesis stages. The findings indicate that, according to Abdul Muthalib Muhyiddin, there are five stages of teaching: introduction, statement (explanation), comparison, opinion (conclusion), and application (tathbiq). The planning process involves determining the subject matter, teaching methods, target class, designated time for teaching, objectives of the lesson, and teaching aids. The goal of teaching is for students to independently acquire knowledge and benefit from it as easily as possible. For teaching materials, Abdul Muthalib used Sendi Iman. The teaching methods include lectures, question-and-answer sessions, assignments, recitation, examples, and step-by-step progression. Assessment, as practiced by Abdul Muthalib, is limited to reviewing the day’s lesson. Teaching skills identified include starting and concluding lessons, explaining material, questioning, providing reinforcement, using instructional media, and classroom management.Keywords: Teaching Stages,  Learning Methods, Islamic Education, Abdul Muttalib Muhyiddin, Book of Sendi ImanAbstrakPenelitian ini bertolak dari latar belakang bahwa pendidikan memiliki tujuan utama untuk menjunjung tinggi keesaan Tuhan dan dalam mewujudkannya diperlukan pendidik yang memiliki kepiawaian dalam menerapkan sistem pengajaran. Abdul Muthalib Muhyiddin dalam Kitab Sendi Iman yang pertama kali dicetak pada tahun 1971 turut menyampaikan teori pengajaran sehingga perlu diketahui relevansinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sistem pengajaran perspektif Abdul Muthalib Muhyiddin dalam kitab Sendi Iman dan relevansinya dengan teori pengajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan yang melalui tahapan analisis dan sintesis. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa dalam perspektif Abdul Muthalib Muhyiddin, ada lima tahapan pengajaran yakni pendahuluan, menyatakan (menerangkan), perbandingan, pendapat (kesimpulan), dan persesuaian (tathbiq). Perencanaan terdiri dari mata pelajaran, methodie (cara) mengajar, kelas berapa akan mengajar, waktu yang ditentukan untuk lamanya mengajar, maksud pelajaran itu, dan alat-alat untuk menerangkan pelajaran. Tujuan pengajaran adalah murid dapat berfikir sendiri mencapai pengetahuan dan mengambil faedahnya dengan semudah-mudahnya. Untuk bahan ajar, Abdul Muthalib menggunakan Kitab Sendi Iman. Metode mengajar terdiri dari ceramah, tanya jawab, pemberian tugas dan resitasi, perumpamaan, dan pentahapan. Penilaian yang dilakukan Abdul Muthalib sebatas menanyakan ulang pelajaran pada hari itu. Keterampilan mengajar yang dinyatakan yakni membuka dan menutup pelajaran, menjelaskan materi, bertanya, memberi penguatan, menggunakan media pengajaran, serta mengelola kelas. Abstract

AbstractThrough the latest approaches in the social, economic and political fields, the latest research shows that Islamic religious education can provide a strong foundation for women to develop their potential and achieve gender equality. This research aims to explore the important role of Islamic religious education in empowering women socially, economically and politically, as well as providing a deeper understanding of its contribution to increasing women's participation in society. The research method used is literature research to analyze the role of Islamic religious education in empowering women, including access to education, employment opportunities, health, involvement in political and social decisions in the Islamic religion. Islamic religious education, which is closely related to the teachings of the Koran and hadith as a guide to life and behavior since ancient times, has played an important role in equality between men and women. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran penting pendidikan agama Islam dalam memberdayakan perempuan secara sosial, ekonomi, dan politik, serta menyediakan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang kontribusinya dalam meningkatkan partisipasi perempuan dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kepustakaan untuk menganalisis tentang peran pendidikan agama Islam dalam memberdayakan perempuan, termasuk dalam akses pendidikan, kesempatan kerja, kesehatan, keterlibatan dalam keputusan politik dan sosial dalam agama islam. Abstract

AbstractThis study analyzes the implementation, challenges, and opportunities of using digital-based learning media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Junior High Schools (SMP) in Bandung. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 17 PAI teachers from 17 SMPs. The results showed that although conventional learning media such as textbooks and whiteboards are still dominant, there has been a significant increase in digital media such as PowerPoint, videos, and interactive applications such as Quizizz and Wordwall. Internal challenges teachers face include limited technological knowledge, resistance to change, time constraints, and dependence on traditional teaching methods. External challenges include more technological infrastructure, internet network problems, and limited resources. Nevertheless, integrating digital media offers excellent opportunities to improve the quality of learning, develop 21st-century skills, and prepare students for the digital era. This study recommends comprehensive strategies such as teacher training and professional development, institutional support in providing technological infrastructure, and collaboration between teachers, schools, government, and other stakeholders.Keywords: Learning Media, Digital, Islamic Religious Education, Quality of Learning, Junior High SchoolAbstrakPenelitian ini menganalisis implementasi, tantangan, dan peluang penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Bandung. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 17 guru PAI dari 17 SMP yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun media pembelajaran konvensional seperti buku paket dan papan tulis masih dominan, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam penggunaan media digital seperti PowerPoint, video, dan aplikasi interaktif seperti Quizizz dan Wordwall. Tantangan internal yang dihadapi guru meliputi keterbatasan pengetahuan teknologi, resistensi terhadap perubahan, keterbatasan waktu, dan ketergantungan pada metode pengajaran tradisional. Tantangan eksternal mencakup kurangnya infrastruktur teknologi, masalah jaringan internet, dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Meskipun demikian, integrasi media digital menawarkan peluang besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21, dan mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi era digital. Studi ini merekomendasikan strategi komprehensif seperti pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional bagi guru, dukungan institusional dalam penyediaan infrastruktur teknologi, serta kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, pemerintah, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya. Abstract

AbstractIn the last five years, the project-based learning (PjBL) model has colored the treasury of learning practices in schools and universities. This article discusses the definition, underlying theory, and elements of the PjBL model and its implications for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. A qualitative approach with a library method was chosen as the design, so that references in the form of books, journal articles, and websites that display information about PjBL, PAI, and the relationship between the two are used to be analyzed through the stages of abstraction, interpretation, and conclusion. Based on conceptual research, this article concludes that project-based learning is a learning process that is expanded with investigations and challenges to stimulate the growth and mastery of 21st century skills in students' real lives, which is based on constructivist, social constructivist, experiential, independent, and discovery-based learning theories. In an effort to maximize the performance of project-based learning, model elements such as syntax, reaction principles, social and support systems must be carried out strictly and optimally. An example of a project-based learning design in PAI learning in schools is included in this article as a development of conceptual implications.Keywords: Project Based Learning, Implications, Learning Model, Islamic Religious Education, SchoolAbstrakDalam lima tahun terakhir ini model pembelajaran berbasis projek (PjBL) telah mewarnai khazanah dalam praktik pembelajaran di persekolahan dan perguruan tinggi. Artikel ini membahas tentang definisi, teori yang melatar belakangi, dan unsur-unsur model PjBL serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kepustakaan dipilih sebagai desainnya, sehingga referensi dalam bentuk buku, artikel-artikel jurnal, serta web yang menampilkan informasi tentang PjBL, PAI, dan keterkaitan di antara keduanya digunakan untuk kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap abstraksi, interpretasi, dan disimpulkan. Berdasarkan penelusuran secara konseptual, artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan proses pembelajaran yang diperluas dengan penyelidikan dan tantangan untuk merangsang pertumbuhan dan penguasaan keterampilan abad 21 dalam kehidupan nyata siswa, yang didasari oleh teori belajar kontruktivis, konstruktivis sosial, eksperiensial, mandiri, dan berbasis penemuan. Dalam upaya memaksimalkan kinerja pembelajaran berbasis proyek, unsur-unsur model seperti sintaks, prinsip reaksi, sistem sosial dan pendukung harus dilakukan secara ketat dan optimal. Contoh rancangan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam pembelajaran PAI di persekolahan disertakan dalam artikel ini sebagai pengembangan implikasi konseptual. Abstract

AbstractThe existence of Islamic educational institutions in a predominantly Hindu society is both a challenge and an opportunity in implementing the values of religious moderation. The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation of religious moderation, especially in multicultural societies such as Bali through Islamic educational institutions. Through a qualitative approach, as well as descriptive analysis of MAN 1 Jembran as the research locus, the data collection technique uses open interviews, observation, and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed through data presentation, development analysis (generalization), synthesis, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of religious moderation in MAN 1 Jembrana was carried out by understanding the context of religious moderation in a multicultural society, integrating religious moderation through the curriculum by emphasizing ukhwah wathoniyah and ukhwah basyariah, religious moderation became a shared spirit through school culture with the motto MANJADDAWAJADA which was manifested in various concrete actions such as the formation of GANTARA and various extracurricular activities. This research also confirms that Balinese Hindus as the majority are very tolerant of Muslims in Bali.Keywords: Religious Moderation, Multicultural, Educational Institutions, Islamic educational institutions, MAN 1 JembranaAbstrakKeberadaan lembaga pendidikan Islam di tengah masyarakat yang mayoritas beragama Hindu menjadi tantangan sekaligus peluang dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi  implementasi moderasi beragama khususnya pada masyarakat multikultural seperti Bali melalui lembaga pendidikan Islam. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, serta analisis deskriptif terhadap MAN 1 Jembran sebagai lokus penelitian.Teknik pengumpulan data  menggunakan wawancara terbuka, observasi, dan dokumentasi Data-data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis yang dituangkan melalui penyajian data, analisis pengembangan (generalisasi), sintesis, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi moderasi beragama di MAN 1 Jembrana dilakukan dengan pemahaman konteks moderasi beragama di tengah masyarakat multikultural, integrasi moderasi beragama melalui kurikulum dengan menekankan ukhwah wathoniyah  dan ukhwah basyariah,  moderasi beragama menjadi spirit bersama melalui budaya sekolah dengan moto MANJADDAWAJADA yang diwujdukan dalam berbagai aksi nyata seperti pembentukan GANTARA dan berbagai kegiatan ekstrakulikuler. Penelitian ini sekaligus menegaskan bahwa masyarakat Bali yang beragama Hindu sebagai mayoritas sangat toleran terhadap pemeluk agama Islam di Bali.
