Abstract

AbstractThe existence of Islamic educational institutions in a predominantly Hindu society is both a challenge and an opportunity in implementing the values of religious moderation. The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation of religious moderation, especially in multicultural societies such as Bali through Islamic educational institutions. Through a qualitative approach, as well as descriptive analysis of MAN 1 Jembran as the research locus, the data collection technique uses open interviews, observation, and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed through data presentation, development analysis (generalization), synthesis, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of religious moderation in MAN 1 Jembrana was carried out by understanding the context of religious moderation in a multicultural society, integrating religious moderation through the curriculum by emphasizing ukhwah wathoniyah and ukhwah basyariah, religious moderation became a shared spirit through school culture with the motto MANJADDAWAJADA which was manifested in various concrete actions such as the formation of GANTARA and various extracurricular activities. This research also confirms that Balinese Hindus as the majority are very tolerant of Muslims in Bali. Keywords: Religious Moderation, Multicultural, Educational Institutions, Islamic educational institutions, MAN 1 JembranaAbstrakKeberadaan lembaga pendidikan Islam di tengah masyarakat yang mayoritas beragama Hindu menjadi tantangan sekaligus peluang dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Abstract

Background: Mathematical communication skills are an important aspect of mathematics learning that allows students to explore and consolidate their mathematical thinking clearly and precisely.Aim: This study aims to analyze the effect of Argument Driven Inquiry learning model and Mathematical Literacy on students' mathematical communication skills.Method: This research is a quantitative study that examines the mathematical communication skills of students by applying the argument driven inquiry learning model and mathematical literacy. The subjects of this study consisted of 30 students learning using the Argument Driven Inquiry model and 30 students using the conventional model. Data were collected through tests and analyzed using One-way Ancova. Results: The findings showed a significant effect of using Argument Driven Inquiry and Mathematical Literacy learning model on students' mathematical communication skills compared to using Conventional learning model. The experimental class obtained higher scores than the control class. Learners were able to organize mathematical arguments more systematically, formulate relevant questions, and convey mathematical thinking more clearly. Conclusion: Argument Driven Inquiry model and mathematical literacy together can affect the mathematical communication skills of students. These results have important implications in the development of mathematics curriculum that pays attention to communication aspects in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study evaluates risk management performance and acceleration strategies in the structural phase of the construction of the Air Force Hospital Prof. Dr. Abdulrachman Saleh (RSAU) in Jakarta, which was specifically designed with infectious disease facilities. The objective is to identify risks that potentially cause project delays and to formulate appropriate mitigation strategies through statistical analysis and multi-criteria decision-making. A quantitative approach was employed, involving data collection from questionnaires distributed to 43 respondents and interviews with 7 experts. Seven main risk dimensions (Man, Method, Machine, Material, Money, Safety, and Environment) were analyzed using the Severity Index to identify 49 sub-criteria, followed by multiple linear regression analysis to measure their influence on project acceleration. Furthermore, alternative strategies for vertical lifting equipment were evaluated using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results indicate that Machine (X3), Material (X4), and Environment (X7) have significant effects on structural performance, with an adjusted R² of 0.955. The best alternative was a combination of one Tower Crane and two Mini Cranes, which achieved the highest AHP score of 0.5394. These findings were validated through sensitivity analysis and field condition assessments, confirming the effectiveness of the strategy in addressing critical risks and supporting project acceleration. The study concludes that integrating statistical risk analysis with expert-based decision methods provides a comprehensive approach for managing structural construction risks and accelerating hospital projects in dense urban areas. Future research is recommended to extend the evaluation by incorporating digital technologies (e.g., BIM), labor productivity, and time–cost tradeoff integration.
