Abstract

The efficiency of loading and unloading dwelling time at the port has been done a lot. The problem at PT JICT is that there has been a decrease in throughput for the last three years, this has an effect on operational performance. operational performance is a representation of the achievement of all targets, thus the company always aims to improve its operational performance. Another problem is that the terminal's operational equipment has begun to be obsolete, which hinders the loading and unloading operation time, the lack of operational equipment that supports the loading and unloading process. The operational equipment studied is the Quay Container Crane which is seen from the available condition. All of these problems will have an impact on dwelling time at PT JICT which can affect operational performance. This research is expected to provide recommendations to PT Jakarta International Container Terminal to prepare adequate operational equipment so that the resulting dwelling time is known. This research method uses a dynamic system model and validation test with behavior pattern test. The results of the dynamic system model validation obtained dwelling time between 2.79 - 4.56 days, mean error of 3% and standard deviation error of 11%. Maintenance of quay container cranes has an influence on unloading productivity which has an impact on dwelling time. Based on 60 data, the quay container crane available variable is seen based on quartile values consisting of quartile 1 (Q1), quartile 2 (Q2) and quartile 3 (Q3). In the quay container crane available variable, the dwelling time value in quartile one is 1.34 days, quartile two is 1.47 and quartile three is 1.51 and the dwelling time value in quartile one is 14 units, quartile two is 12 units and quartile three is 10 units.

Abstract

PT Rachmat Perdana Adhimetal is one of the manufacturing industries engaged in the manufacture of automotive and non-automotive components in the Delta industrial area, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency. In the implementation of the production process on the cutting line, the company experienced a breakdown problem. Of the 8 available cutting machines, there is 1 machine, the 476 cutting machine which has the highest breakdown frequency. To overcome these problems, data related to operating time, output and downtime is collected, followed by data processing using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) which can describe the efficiency of the machine. The results of data processing showed an OEE value of 68% of the standard value of 85%. Furthermore, an analysis was carried out with six big Losses, the results showed that there were 2 largest Losses, reduce speed Losses with a value of 14.90% and breakdown losses with a value of 12.65%. Followed by a cause analysis using a causal diagram to find out the factors that affect engine performance from machines and humans. To determine the priority of repairs made on the 476 cutting machine, an analysis was carried out using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Priority for repairs based on the value of RPN 120 in the type of failure there is no wind pressure regulator with the repair of installing air speed adjuster/faucet, the value of RPN 102 in the type of failure of maintenance staff does not understand the daily checksheet with the improvement of the socialization of the daily checksheet to the maintenance staff, the value of RPN 54 in the type of failure 1/3 of the wind pressure is divided into the air sprayer and the value of RPN 21 in the type of failure leader does not understand the SOP for moving materials at the beginning of the set up with improvement of socialization of SOPs for moving materials at the beginning of the set up to the leader. The OEE value after the improvement showed a value of 77%, an increase of 9% from before the improvement.

Abstract

As energy sources continue to dwindle, they have garnered significant attention, prompting the government to set a target of at least 31% of Indonesia's total energy consumption coming from renewable sources. This study focuses on developing an inverter, a device that converts direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC), utilizing a 12V/100Ah battery to support a 150-watt AC load. The proposed inverter adopts a full-bridge configuration with single-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) and incorporates a fuzzy logic controller to ensure stable output voltage. The implementation results indicate that the designed full-bridge inverter produces a steady output aligned with the input from a 12V LiFePO4 battery, as confirmed by data collection which compared the output with and without control, showing that the controlled system yields a more stable output. The testing results of the full-bridge inverter using the SPWM method indicate that the system can produce an AC output voltage of 221–224 V with a frequency of 50 Hz, in accordance with the established standards. In contrast, during testing without control, the output voltage ranged only between 145–147 V with a frequency of 99.18 Hz, which does not meet operational standards. These results clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the fuzzy controller in maintaining both voltage and frequency stability under varying operating conditions. By accurately adjusting the system response, the fuzzy controller ensures that the inverter consistently delivers output within the desired standard range, thereby enhancing the overall performance and reliability of the system.

Abstract

In today's highly competitive restaurant industry, customer loyalty is a vital component for achieving business success. However, many restaurants face challenges in retaining customers due to inadequate service quality and ineffective pricing strategies. This study explores the relationship between service quality and price on customer loyalty in a casual restaurant setting, with perceived value serving as a mediator. Utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for data analysis, the results reveal that both service quality and price have a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty. Furthermore, perceived value is found to have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The study also discovers that service quality and price significantly influence perceived value. These findings underscore the importance of service quality and price in fostering customer loyalty, as well as the crucial role of perceived value in this dynamic. By gaining a deeper understanding of these relationships, restaurants can devise strategies to enhance their service quality and pricing, ultimately leading to increased customer loyalty and business success. This study offers valuable insights for restaurants aiming to improve customer loyalty and retention, providing a foundation for informed decision-making and strategic development. The results of this research can be instrumental in helping restaurants to better understand their customers' needs and preferences, and to develop targeted strategies to meet those needs.
