Abstract

Community Development Programme by Private Sector almost charity to avoidsocial conflict, so people who live around the forest still poor. The aims of the study are tounderstand issues of social economic of the people living around the Forest Plantation inRiau. Case study has been done in Teluk Meranti and Pulau Muda village in PelalawanDistrict. Data has been collected through household survey and indepth interviews, andanalyzed using a descriptive-comparative methode. Results showed that people who livearound the Forest Plantation less involved in forest management. Most of people in this bothvillage is a farmer, but dominant of land used in Teluk Meranti are oil palm and rubber plantation,whereas in Pulau Muda are wet rice fields and swidden agriculture. Agriculture pattern in thisboth village is still traditional, but industrialize agriculture have in Teluk Meranti with oil palmplantation domination. Nevertheless, income rate of household in Teluk Meranti still lowerthan Pulau Muda because many oil palm plantation existing owned by landlords.

Abstract

Since mid 2007 the world economy faced huge fluctuation that force the fundamentalchange in global economy structure. The price of oil reached US 147 per barrel, followed byagricultural commodities such as CPO, potatoes, soy bean , cereals and even milk or vegetables.The objective of this paper is to study primary factors that influence the price of almost allcommodities, not only fundamental factors such as demand and supply, but also non-fundamental factors. The result of the study in terms of fundamental factors showed that sky-rocketing of oil and commodities were combination of the increasing demand from AsianCountries - especially China and India – which is not by supply. The situation is made worseby non-fundamental factors such as economi downturn of American economy; geo-politicswhere every country tried to save their interest; and speculation in oil and commoditiesmarket.

Abstract

This article purpose to find out dualism in manufacture sector in Indonesia. Thisstudy try to describe the structural chage that view by value added contribution, export andimport in manufacture sector used input-output table analyze 1990, 1995. with this analyze,this study saw manufacture in Indonesia seem dualism in capacity and export-import. Thereare significan disparity among capital intensive and labour intensive.

Abstract

Basically, development phenomena in Indonesian are indicated by unbalancedgrowth between the agrarian and industrial sector. That is not condusive for a better economicstructure. Industrialization is directed for sustaining development on economic growth, creatingsturdier economic structures, and production an economic sectors, support. Traditionaleconomy can be an alternative to stimulate industrial growth for wining competition, improvingindustrial productinity, and boosting the local traditional economy.

Abstract

This research aimed to understanding the consumer attitudes on the organicvegetable attributes, and the influence of the consumer’s social environment toward thesubjective norm in the making the purchasing decision on the organic vegetable in Pekanbaru.Source of data was primary data from interview with respondents using purposive sampling.Method of analysis used Fishbein model to analysis the consumer’s attitudes and tounderstanding the consumer’s decision making process. The attributes was used tounderstanding the consumer’s attitudes is freshness, colour, taste, brand, ingredients,advantage for health, price and the availability. And the attribute was analyzed to analyzedthe influence of the consumer’s social environment is the product’s legal aspect and thefamily members. The research result showed that there was a positive attitude of consumer toconsume the organic vegetable. Attribute “the advantage of organic vegetable for health isowned the higher positive score to influence the consumer’s attitudes to consume the organicvegetable. And the social environment is not influence the subjective norm of consumer inmaking the purchasing decisions of the organic vegetables.

Abstract

Settlement and construction of space has have jurisdiction since regulation ofsettlement of space number 24/1992. with space regulation, we hope that civilization materialized,compfortable, productive and sustainable. But, the most of frame above, not solid yet. Withthe result that, we need some regulations to accommodate. In year 2007, the government wascreate regulation number 26/2007. with this regulation can making regulation of space work.It will be run if all of civil society and stake holder involve in.
