Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) berbasis Jamur Keberuntungan Abadi (Jakaba) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L). Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, yang mencakup dosis POC jakaba 40 ml/liter, 50 ml/liter, 60 ml/liter, 70 ml/liter, dan kontrol tanpa POC jakaba. Beberapa parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), diameter batang (cm), jumlah buah (buah), dan bobot buah segar (gram). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Berdasarkan hasil analisis sidik ragam, pemberian POC jakaba tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, meskipun terdapat peningkatan rata-rata tinggi pada setiap perlakuan. Artinya, secara statistik peningkatan tersebut belum cukup signifikan. Sebaliknya, pada parameter jumlah daun, diameter batang, jumlah buah, dan bobot buah segar, pemberian POC jakaba menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata, dengan dosis 70 ml/liter memberikan hasil terbaik. Tanaman pada dosis ini menghasilkan rata-rata jumlah daun 5,96 helai, diameter batang 0,37 cm, jumlah buah 6,55 buah, dan bobot buah segar 230,88 gram. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa POC jakaba berpengaruh nyata pada sebagian besar parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman okra, kecuali tinggi tanaman. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pupuk dapat berbeda pada tiap aspek pertumbuhan, tergantung dosis dan respon fisiologis tanaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan kimia yang terjadi selama proses dekomposisi blotong dengan berbagai jenis aktivator, serta untuk menentukan efektivitas aktivator dalam mempercepat kematangan kompos. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan, yaitu EM4, Stardec, dan kotoran sapi, masing-masing diulang tiga kali. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pH, total asam tertitrasi (TAT), kandungan bahan organik (BO), karbon (C) total, nitrogen (N) total, dan rasio C/N. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan kimia utama yang terjadi selama proses dekomposisi meliputi Nilai pH kompos mendekati netral (6,9–7,2), sesuai dengan standar kualitas kompos matang. Penurunan rasio C/N dari 29,60% menjadi sekitar 15–16% pada perlakuan EM4 dan Stardec, menunjukkan kematangan kompos yang baik

Abstract

Soybean yields in Rokan Hulu continue to increase along with the increasing population and the increasing diversity of basic soybean growth, the increasing demand for soybeans is not accompanied by growth by Rokan Hulu farmers, this is due to the decreasing area of ​​land that can be planted with soybeans and low soil fertility, so efforts need to be made towards the growth and yield of soybeans, it is hoped that the use of organic mulch of alang-alang can increase soybean yields. This study was conducted to determine the effect of giving several doses of organic mulch of alang-alang on the growth and yield of soybeans. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 treatments, each treatment had 4 groups of plants, where each plot consisted of 10 plants. The treatments are P0 = without organic mulch of cogongrass, P1 = organic mulch of cogongrass 5.6 kg, P2 = organic mulch of cogongrass 7.2 kg, P3 = organic mulch of cogongrass 8.8 kg, P4 = organic mulch of cogongrass 10.4 kg. The variables observed were plant height, leaf width, number of plants, flowering age, harvest age, number of filled pods, wet seed weight, dry seed weight, weight of 100 seeds. The results of this study were seen from the results of the Duncan multiple distance test (DMRT a 5%). The provision of organic mulch of cogongrass on soybean plants had a significant effect on harvest age, flowering age, number of filled pods, wet seed weight, dry seed weight, weight of 100 seeds and had no significant effect on plant height, leaf width, number of leaves. This is due to the suboptimal nutrients given to the soil. The provision of organic mulch of alang-alang grass with a dose of 8.8 kg tends to affect the growth and yield of soybean plants.

Abstract

Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccaratha Sturt) is in great demand because of its nutritional and economic value. Sweet corn consumption is increasing in Indonesia, but the industry faces challenges such as pests, disease and access to fertilizer. Using sugarcane bagasse as compost can increase soil fertility and reduce waste. This research aims to determine the effect of the dose of bagasse compost on the growth and yield of sweet corn. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 actions, namely P0 : without adding bagasse compost (control), P1: 20 tons/ha of bagasse compost equivalent to 1.96 kg/plot, P2 : 25 tons/ha of bagasse compost equivalent to 2.45 kg/plot, P3: 30 tons/ha of bagasse compost equivalent to 2.94 kg/plot, P4: 35 tons/ha of bagasse compost equivalent to 3.43 kg/plot Each treatment was repeated four times in groups. The variables observed were plant height, leaf length, leaf width, cobs length, cobs diameter and cobs weight. The results of data analysis are analyzed using variance analysis, if the results of variance analysis show a real difference, then proceed with a further significant difference test (DMRT 5%). The results of the research showed that the provision of bagasse compost did not have a real effect on any observed variables. The absence of real differences in all observed variables is thought to be caused by the dosage of bagasse compost not having reached the right level to support optimal growth in sweet corn plants.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of climate change on rubber production in Rambang District. Data was obtained through a survey of rubber farmers using a structured questionnaire. The results show that 90.9% of respondents experienced a drastic decline in production, 8.39% experienced a slight decline, 0.7% reported stable production, and no respondents reported an increase in production. These findings indicate that climate change has a significant impact on rubber productivity. This study emphasizes the need for adaptation efforts and better plantation management to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Abstract

Soybean production in Riau Province has decreased one of the factors that affect the growth and production of soybean plants is nutrients, where phosphorus plays a very important role. Nutrient P is an important element after nitrogen which plays a role in photosynthesis, respiration, cell division and enlargement, root development, formation of flowers, fruits and seeds This study aims to determine the effect of rice husk ash in increasing P uptake on soybean crop production. The study was carried out with a Complete Random Design (RAL) consisting of four husk ash treatments with doses (0, 20, 30, and 40, grams/polybag) with three replicates, so that 12 experimental units consisting of 6 plants were obtained, of which there were 3 samples. The observed variables included analysis of P content in soil and husk ash, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods and weight of 100 seeds. The results showed that the application of husk ash had a real effect on the harvest age and the number of pods/sample plants at a concentration of 40 grams/polybag, but had no real effect on the flowering age and weight of 100 seeds.

Abstract

Shallots (Allium ascallonicum L.) are one of the superior vegetable commodities that have long been cultivated intensively by farmers. Domestic production of shallots has not been able to meet the needs of shallot consumers because the farming system is less than optimal, the condition of the land is not good and optimal, and the use of seed planting materials that have decreased quality. One effort that can be made to overcome the current problems of shallot cultivation is to increase soil fertility by improving the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil and adding optimal organic and inorganic materials. This can be done by using stale rice MOL so that it is expected to be able to improve the physical and chemical properties of the soil, loosen the soil and make it easier for plant roots to absorb nutrients in the soil. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of stale rice MOL on increasing the growth and production of shallots, and to obtain the dose of stale rice MOL in increasing the growth and production of shallots. This study was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications so that 15 experimental units were obtained, each experimental unit consisting of 6 plants where there were 3 sample plants. The results of the analysis showed that the provision of MOL concentration of stale rice and without the provision of MOL of stale rice showed different results on the weight of dry tubers, the weight of wet tubers, the number of leaves, the number of shoots, the height of the plant and the loss of tuber weight.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bawang merah (Allium ascolonicum, L) yang termasuk sebagai komoditas strategis yang menjadi salah satu komoditas penyumbang inflasi dalam negeri selain beras, cabai merah, daging ayam, dan daging sapi. Selain itu, bawang merah merupakan salah satu komoditas sayuran unggulan yang telah diusahakan secara intensif oleh petani dan memberikan kontribusi cukup tinggi terhadap perkembangan wilayah, serta mempunyai potensi pasar dalam negeri yang baik. (Mutiarasari et al., 2019). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan inseck net terhadap penyebaran penyakit pada tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Kec. Magepanda. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan tingkat serangan penyakit pada tanaman bawang merah yang menggunakan insecknet lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan tanaman bawang merah tanpa menggunakan insecknet. Menurut beberapa penelitian oleh Pratama dan Widodo (2018), menunjukan bahwa inseck net dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil panen bawang merah dengan menciptakan mikroklimat yang lebih stabil di sekitar tanaman. Dengan perannya dalam praktik pertanian berkelanjutan, inseck net menjdi solusi inovatif dalam menghadapi tantangan penyakit pada tanaman bawang merah. Kata Kunci: Bawang Merah, Penyakit, Inseck Net ABSTRACT The sprinkler irrigation method is applied to dragon fruit plants to increase water use efficiency. This system is able to disribute water evenly to,plants,reduce waste, and meet plant needs optimally. The results of the application show better efficiency and increase the quality and quantity of dragon friut production, making it a sustainabel solution in modern agriculture. This MBKM internship activity was carried out at PT. Kusuma Satria Dinasasri Wisatajaya, this company is locade on JL. Abdul Gani Atas,Ngaglik sub- district, Batu sub-district,Batu city,east java province. This internship activity will be carried out for approximately 2 months strating from 17 September -14 November 2024. The method used inthis research is primary data collrction and secondary data. Primary dat was obtained directly by the author from the internhsip site and secondary data was collected through observation,interviews, documencation, literature study, consultation and report writing. Abstract

Shallots are a horticultural crop whose production volume and harvested area have decreased. This can be overcome by administering cow urine POC because its nutrients can increase plant production. The objective of this study was to determine the impact of cow urine on onion plant growth and yield. This research was conducted from November 2023 - January 2024 in Kinari, Kec. Sundi Hill, Kab. Solok, West Sumatra with an altitude of 390 meters above sea level. A group randomized design (CRD) was used to test nine treatments arranged into three groups for this study. Four plants will be used for each treatment, totaling 108 experimental units. The treatment given is as follows, P0 = 0 ml/L, P1= 20 ml/L, P2 = 35 ml/L, P3 = 50ml/L, P4 = 65ml/L, P5 = 80ml/L, P6 = 95ml/L, P7 = 105ml/L, P8 = 120ml/L. If the F-count value of the treatment ≥the F-table value at the 95% confidence interval, then the research data analysis results will be subjected to a multiple comparison test using the Duncan New Multiple Range Test. The observation parameters observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (blade), tuber size (mm), fresh tuber yield (g), and consumption tuber yield (g) were the observational variables monitored during the study. Based on the data collected from this study are is known that the application of POC cow urine in the P3 treatment gave significantly different results in the number of tubers, tuber diameter, root volume, fresh weight of tubers, and consumption weight of tubers. There were no significant differences in the variables regarding characteristics of shoot emergence, plant height, and number of leaves.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi literatur dengan tujuan mengkaji penerapan elektrokultur dalam pertanian. Fokus penelitian ini pada potensi aplikasi elektrokultur pada budidaya tanaman cabai (Capsicum annuum) di iklim tropis. Metode penelitian ini dilaakukan dengan pencarian sistematis di beberapa basis data ilmiah menggunakan kata kunci terkait antara lain “elektrokultur”, “budidaya cabai”, dan “iklim tropis”. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan medan elektromagnetik memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkann pertumbuhan, produktivitas, dan kualitas tanaman cabai. Selain itu, elektrokultur juga mengurangi ketergantungan tanaman pada input kimia. Meskipun demikian, terdapat celah/gap penelitian terutama pada penerapannya di tanaman cabai di iklim tropis dalam skala lapangan. Temuan ini memberikan dasar untuk penelitian eksperimental lebih lanjut untuk pengembangan teknologi elektrokultur yang berkelanjutan dalam pertanian cabai
