Abstract

Karimun Sembawang Shipyard merupakan perusahaan multinasional yang bergerak dibidang jasa perbaikan kapal (ship repair) dan bangunan baru (ship new building). Untuk efektivitas produksi perusahaan dan mencapai target yang telah disepakati oleh pihak pemilik kapal (owner) dan pihak penyedia jasa pembuatan kapal diperlukan perencanaan teknis produksi yang tepat. Sistem perpipaan merupakan salahsatu komponen pendukung operasional pada kapal yang sangat penting, pada proses produksinya dengan material yang terbatas metode fabrikasi dan pemasangan pipa CPVC berdasarkan pembagian per paket sistem (test package) harus lebih diprioritaskan agar dapat mencapai efisiensi pekerjaan dalam waktu yang lebih singkat dan mempermudah proses line check dibandingkan dengan teknis produksi berdasarkan semua sistem karena membutuhkan waktu produksi yang lebih lama.

Abstract

Sloshing dapat diartikan sebagai gerakan bebas dari fluida cair di dalam sebuah wadah. Masalah sloshing menjadi fenomena penting dalam sebuah analisis gerakan fluida, karena dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada struktur dalam tangki. Penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh adanya penambahan anti-sloshing terhadap besarnya pressure pada tangki kotak bermuatan LNG akibat pengaruh gerakan rolling yang terjadi pada kapal. Pemodelan tangki dilakukan dengan menyederhanakan tangki LNG berjenis membrane GT NO.96 menjadi tangki kotak (rectangular tank) dengan ukuran panjang (B) 39.36 m dan tinggi (H) 27.89 m menggunakan software permodelan mesh. Terdapat beberapa variasi yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, variasi pengisian muatan tangki dengan ketinggian 20%, 40%, 50%, dan 80% dari tinggi tangki, variasi penambahan anti-sloshing vertikal, variasi dimensi anti-sloshing horizontal dengan variasi perbandingan panjang anti-sloshing (W) dan panjang tangki (B), rasio W/B adalah 0.2 dan 0.3, variasi dimensi anti-sloshing horizontal dengan variasi jarak plat anti-sloshing terhadap bagian atas tangki (h) dan tinggi tangki (H), rasio h/H adalah 0.4 dan 0.5, variasi dimensi anti-sloshing dengan variasi sudut plat anti-sloshing (θ) terhadap arah horizontal adalah 0o, 5o, dan 10o, serta variasi gerakan tangki dengan periode (T) 17 s, 18 s, 20 s, 21 s, dan 25 s. Proses simulasi dilakukan dengan metode Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) menggunakan bantuan software. Dari hasil simulasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan plat anti-sloshing horizontal tidak lebih efektif untuk mengurangi besarnya pressure yang terjadi di dalam tangki apabila dibandingkan dengan penambahan plat anti-sloshing vertikal.

Abstract

Laut memilki sumber daya dengan nilai ekonomis yang tinggi, akan tetapi tidak lepas dari berbagai permasalahan. Spill oil ialah satu dari sekian permasalahan yang disebabkan oleh manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis spill oil terhadap volume dan nilai produksi perikanan di laut Kepulauan Riau dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah volume dan nilai produksi perikananan di laut Kepri masih tergolong rendah, jika ditambah permasalahan laut, seperti spill oil maka akan memperburuk tidak hanya hasil ekosistem laut, namun juga rantai perekonomian lainnya.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang di hadapi di pelabuhan Sri Tanjung Gelam terdapat di dermaga ponton, yaitu free board ponton yang tingginya mencapai ± 1400mm sedangkan rata-rata free board kapal ferry speedboat yang berlabuh disana antara ± 800mm sampai 1000mm. Hal ini mengakibatkan penumpang yang seharusnya turun dari kapal menjadi naik dari kapal, dan harus di tarik dari kapal ke atas ponton. Jumlah kapal yang berlabuh di ponton Sri Tanjung Gelam sebanyak 24 kapal setiap harinya. Dari data yang di kumpul penulis free board kapal yang ada berkisar antara 800mm sampai 1000mm, maka penulis melakukan desain ulang dan menetukan rata-rata free board kapal tersebut sebesar 900mm. Ponton ini secara perhitungan dan design menghasilkan free board yang tepat seperti yang direncanakan yaitu tinggi 1400mm, draft/ saratnya 500mm, dan free board 900mm. Ketinggian ponton yang ada saat ini 2000mm dengan Sarat 600mm Free board nya 1400mm. Kesalahan pada perencanaan sebuah ponton akan menimbulkan dampak yang serius terhadap keselamatan pengunaannya. Dari data perbandingan ukuran ponton baru dan ponton lama di atas bisa didapatkan penghematan pemakian material dari ponton lama. Pentingnya perhitungan draf atau free board ponton yang tepat akan memberikan keuntungan baik dari segi keselamatan pengguna maupun pembiayaan pembangunannya.

Abstract

The high demand for building the vessels and ojfshore structure as jackup, such as platform, and submersible rig causing shipbuilding industry demanded to do some inovivation in order to make the ship building process to be more e'mzctive and e17icient. One of the key przocess on ship building is Block's Erection. This research carried out to include the design and analysis to create a tool fbr block erection which capable to boost the e17‘ectiveness and e17iciency on production of shipbuilding. The angular contact ball bearing is the Tool which created and proven very e,0‘ective to use on the process of erection block ship DRU 3 PT. Karimun Sembawang Shipyard. The research is applying descriftive analytic methode which use to analyse the compressive stress and shear strength and proved capable to receive the maximum load as planned. By using material grade AH 36 with tensile strength up to 285.000 Psi, proven much higher than total load applied to them. The results of the study showed that the Angular contact ball bearing capable to work on big load and also can move in all directions with will boost process the ship production significantly. Shipyard should be consider to develop the thrust ball bearing technology as a tool for block erection process.

Abstract

The calculatton of the draft survey is a highly anticipated result as a reference of business transacttons and as a reference to the determination of tax payments to the state. Fast in terms of time and precise calculation accuracy becomes a demand in business services especially in international business. Given the delay impacted the loss of a fine to be paid by the recipient of goods for being late in the process of loading or known as Demurraage. The problem raised in this research is how to apply the calculation of the optimal draft survey with the speed of time and accuracy of calculation. The research method used in this research is quantitative analysis by calculate of cargolood/ verify the calculation of the number of vessels betweet the conventional draft survey method and the method of draft survey microsoft excel which refers to the data of the ship that has been verified by the PT. Surveyor Indonesia. The results obtained from this research is the calculation by the method of draft survey microsoft excel has a high level of accuracy because the chances of error due to human error is smaller that the calculation by manual. It consume also more effective time compared to manual methods (more time efficient).

Abstract

Lifting Arrangement is a platform for the process of using cranes, in this final task discussing the operation of a platform located in the main deck conducted in Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Yard Company. The analysis of this research is focused on the Penganangkatan tool because it has different types and types. The size of the Platform has a length of 34714 m, width of 18700 m and weight 221.51 tonnes. The most critical part of this lifting process is the angle determination for each wire sling because the crane is used for different types and types. The Minimum Angel used in the process of the Pengkatan this platform for Crane 1 is 69 º, Crane 2 is 69 º, Crane 3 is 71 º and the Crane 4 is 71 º.

Abstract

The pump is a machine for moving fluid. The pump moves fluid from a low pressure place to a place with a higher pressure, to overcome this pressure difference a power is needed. The cooling system is a system that serves to keep the engine temperature in ideal conditions.Seawater cooling pump used on the MV.BAHARI 22 ship, experienced a problem of decreased suction power analyzed using quantitative research methods in which research uses data taken directly on the ship. Then the analysis of this study uses a predetermined formula. Research findings and analyzed data are head loss which includes static head, head pressure, head speed, head major loss, head minor loss. The decrease in the pressure of the sea water coolant pump on the ship is caused by the total head of the system which exceeds the pump head where the head of the system according to the calculation is 61 m, while the maximum head of the pump is only 55 m so that the cavitation in the pump is ensured which causes impeller damage and damages the house the snail This can be proven from the calculation results where the NPSHr value = 5.49 meters far exceeds the NPSHa value which is only 2.52 m.

Abstract

The use of electrical energy in shipping is very important its role as a supporting factor for the smooth operation of the ship itself, for that it needs to be made a very mature design so that the system is able to work effectively and efficiently and be able to overcome the disturbances that occur at any time. Comfort during the process of the operation of the ship and every active'ltas certainly can not be separated from a good lighting system. the main goals and objectives to be achieved in this lighting installation system is that the amount of lighting needed in the operation of the ship can be adequate, sufficient and efficient in its use by not ignoring the safety system both for humans and equipment.

Abstract

On the suction ship produced by PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk applies a lighting system using standards from the 2012 Minister of Health Decree regarding the level of lighting in the work environment. With this standard, it is expected that each manganese lighting will function properly according to the active needs of the task. The lamp used for lighting in each room is Philips TL-D 36 Watt with Pacific TCW097 type, so the lamp can last a long time because it is protected from dust which can reduce the quality of the lamp. The results of research on the use of energy, in this case electricity in shipping plays a very important role for the needs of manganese lighting. Therefore the lighting system of a room on the ship must be planned well taking into account the energy conservation efforts that can be done
