This journal is published twice a year. Al-Tarbiyah: Jurnal Pendidikan (The Educational Journal) has already had registration numbers of p-ISSN: 2442-6377 and e-ISSN: 2721-3595 issued by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). Al-Tarbiyah journal was inactive during 2016-2018. In 2019 this journal started continuing the publication of Volume 29.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, serta aktivitas dan performansi guru sebagai dampak pengiring pada pembelajaran seni tari di SD melalui penerapan teknik TANDUR berbantukan gambar seri. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes dan non tes. Data yang diperoleh merupakan hasil pra siklus, tes tertulis, tes praktek, pengamatan aktivitas siswa, dan pengamatan performansi guru. Indikator keberhasilan PTK yaitu, jumlah siswa yang mendapat nilai sesuai KKM (≥71) minimal 75%, aktivitas belajar siswa minimal 75%, dan performansi guru minimal B (≥70). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, nilai rata-rata kelas pra siklus sebesar 68,2 meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 73 dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar klasikal dari 40,5% menjadi 75,7%. Nilai rata-rata kelas siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan menjadi 84,1 dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 91,9%. Aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 70,5% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 80%. Nilai performansi guru telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan, pada siklus I sebesar 86,05 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 96,75. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa teknik TANDUR berbantukan gambar seri dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran tari pendek bertema kelas III SD Negeri Debong Lor Kota Tegal tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata kunci: gambar seri, tari pendek bertema, teknik TANDUR.  AbstractThe research aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes as well as teacher’s activities and performance as accompanying impacts on dance learning in Elementary School through the technique of TANDUR assisted image series. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was performed in two cycles. Data collection techniques used were in the form of test and non-test. The data obtained were the results of pre-cycle, written test, practice test, observation of student activities, and observation of teacher’s performance. Indicators of the research success are the number of students who got the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Score of (≥71) were at least 75%, students’ learning activities were at least 75% and teacher’s performance was at least B (≥70). The results show that the mean score of 68.2 in pre-cycle class increased in the first cycle to 73 with an increase in the classical learning completeness of 40.5% to 75.7%. The class mean score in cycle II also increased to 84.1 with an increase in the classical learning completeness reaching 91.9%. Students’ learning activities in the first cycle which were 70.5% increased to 80% in the second cycle. The score of teacher’s performance has reached an indicator of success in the first cycle of 86.05 to 96.8 in cycle II. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the technique of TANDUR assisted image series can improve the learning of The Dance Short Themed material of Grade III Debong Lor Elementary School of Tegal City in the academic year of 2014/2015. Abstract

AbstrakBanyak kejadian-kejadian yang tidak sesuai dengan aturan, nilai dan norma yang berlaku di dalam masyarakat. Permasalahan-permasalahan yang muncul di masyarakat semakin berkembang dan komplek. Pembelajaran IPS dibutuhkan untuk pembentukan individu peserta didik dalam menjalankan kehidupan sosial di masyarakat. Mereka diharapkan berperilaku dan berinteraksi sesuai dengan keadaan dan kondisi aturan, nilai dan norma yang ada di dalam masyarakat. Pembelajaran IPS di sekolah mempengaruhi pembentukan modal sosial dalam diri peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui konstribusi pembelajaran IPS terhadap perkembangan modal sosial peserta didik. Metode penelitian adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pembelajaran IPS terhadap modal sosial peserta didik SMPN di Kabupaten Pandeglang. Pengaruh pembelajaran IPS terhadap modal sosial peserta didik sebesar 16,4%. Dengan tingkat signifikansinya dilihat dari table lebih kecil dari 0,05 sehingga pembelajaran IPS signifikan terhadap modal sosial.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Pembelajaran IPS, dan Modal Sosial AbstractThere are many incidents that are not in accordance with the rules, values and norms that are applied in the society. The problems that arise in society are increasingly developing and complex. Social studies learning is needed for the formation of individual students in carrying out social life in society. They are expected to behave and interact in accordance with the circumstances and conditions of the rules, values and norms that exist in society. Social studies learning in schools affects the formation of students’ self-social capital. The research objective was to find out the contribution of social studies learning to the development of students’ social capital. The research method was a quantitative research method with a survey approach. The finding of the research shows the influence of social studies learning on the social capital of Junior High School students in Pandeglang. The effect of social studies learning on students' social capital is 16.4%. Its significance level seen from the table is smaller than 0.05, so that social studies learning is significant for social capital.Keywords: Learning, Social Studies Learning, and Social Capital

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perbedaan kemampuan menulis Al-Qur’an antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran dengan strategi practice rehearsal pairs dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran metode imla’ pada kelas III MI Cahaya Kota Cimahi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen atau eksperimen semu. Desain yang digunakan adalah the two-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III di MI Cahaya Kota Cimahi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes uraian yang sesuai dengan indikator kemampuan menulis Al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antara siswa yang menggunakan strategi practice rehearsal pairs dan yang menggunakan metode imla’ dinyatakan terdapat perbedaan. Strategi practice rehearsal pairs memiliki peranan yang cukup besar dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis Al-Qur’an. Penerapan strategi practice rehearsal pairs dalam proses menulis Al-Qur’an mempunyai keunggulan yaitu menumbuhkan keaktifan, kemandirian dalam belajar, partisipasi dan kreativitas siswa.Kata kunci: Strategi Practice Rehearsal Pairs, Kemampuan Menulis Al-Qur’an  AbstractThis study aimed to find out how the difference in the ability to write Al-Qur'an between students using learning with practice rehearsal pair strategy with students using imla’ learning method in the third grade of MI Cahaya Cimahi City. This research was a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental research. The design used was the the two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were all grade III students at MI Cahaya Cimahi City. The instrument used was the observation sheet and test description in accordance with the indicators of the ability to write the Qur'an. The results show that between students who apply the practice rehearsal pair strategy and those who apply the imla’ method there are differences.  The practice rehearsal pair strategy has a crucial and significant role in the ability to write the Qur'an. The application of the practice rehearsal pair strategy in the process of writing the Qur'an has the advantage of growing students’ activeness, independent learning, participation and creativity. Keywords: practice rehearsal pair strategy, writing Al-Qur’an skills

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini agar orang tua memahami konsep pendidikan anak usia dini dalam keluarga, orang tua dapat mengetahui kompetensi-kompetensi apa saja yang harus dikembangkan pada anak di era revolusi industri 4.0, dan orang tua juga dapat mengetahui cara mendidik anak usia dini di era revolusi industry 4.0.  Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan pendidikan anak usia dini dalam keluarga akan berjalan dengan baik jika orang tua memahami kewajiban dan tanggung jawabnya terhadap anak, memahami kebutuhan dasar anak, dan memahami aspek perkembangan anak usia dini. Kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh anak di era industri 4.0. tersebut antara lain: 1) berpikir Kritis, 2) komunikasi, 3) kerjasama, 4) kreatif, 5) kepemimpinan, 6) berkarakter yang terpuji, 7) literasi baca tulis; 8) literasi numerasi; 9) Literasi sains; 10) literasi digital, 11) literasi budaya dan kewargaan; 12) literasi finansial. Mendidik anak usia dini dalam keluarga di era industri 4.0 orang tua dapat mengembangkan kompetensi-kompetensi dengan cara: 1) melatih berpikir kritis; 2) menjalin komunikasi yang baik dan efektif; 3) melibatkan anak dalam kegiatan rumah tangga; 4) membebaskan anak bermain; 5) melatih kepemimpinan; 6) menanamkan nilai karakter yang terpuji; 7) mengenalkan enam kemampuan literasi.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Pendidikan dalam Keluarga, Pendidikan Era Revolusi Industri 4.0   AbstractThe purpose of this study is that parents understand the concept of early childhood education in the family, parents can find out what competencies should be developed in children in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, and parents can also find out how to educate early childhood in the era of the industrial revolution. 4.0. The method used in this research is library research, and the data analysis technique uses the content analysis method. The research results obtained that early childhood education in the family will run well if parents understand their obligations and responsibilities towards children, understand children's basic needs, and understand aspects of early childhood development. Competencies needed by children in the industrial era 4.0. These include: 1) critical thinking, 2) communication, 3) cooperation, 4) creative, 5) leadership, 6) commendable character, 7) literacy in literacy; 8) numeracy literacy; 9) scientific literacy; 10) digital literacy, 11) cultural and civic literacy; 12) financial literacy. Educating early childhood in families in the industrial era 4.0 parents can develop competencies by: 1) training critical thinking; 2) establish good and effective communication; 3) involving children in household activities; 4) freeing children to play; 5) training leadership; 6) instilling a commendable character value; 7) introduce six literacy skills.Keywords: Early Childhood Education, Education in The Family, Education in The Industrial Revolution Era 4.0

Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan inovasi pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19. Inovasi pembelajaran diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi juga pencegahan Covid-19. Oleh karena itu, kerjasama orang tua, guru dan pemerintah sangat dianjurkan demi mewujudkan pendidikan yang efektif dan efisien di tengah wabah penyakit yang melanda dunia saat ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode kajian literatur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menelusuri berbagai sumber baik berupa dokumen pemerintah, media massa, dan hasil penelitian yang relevan sebelumnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan policy research dan didukung oleh hasil wawancara dengan beberapa siswa tingkat sekolah dasar. Analisis data menggunakan Content Analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pemerintah dalam menanggulangi penyebaran virus corona (Covid-19) berdampak pada munculnya konsep-konsep baru berkaitan dengan inovasi pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan. Inovasi pembelajaran tersebut diantaranya Learning from Home: Kolaborasi antara sekolah dengan orang tua, pembelajaran sebagai peluang sekaligus tantangan, dan inovasi model pembelajaran Blended Learning. Harapannya, inovasi tersebut dapat memberikan hasil yang optimal dan dapat meningkatkan kerjasama antar orang tua, guru, dan pemerintah demi mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan mampu bersaing secara global. Inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi diharapkan tidak hanya berlangsung dimasa pandemi Covid-19, namun dapat diterapkan setelah Covid-19 berakhir untuk pendidikan yang semakin maju dan berkualitas.Kata kunci: Inovasi, Pembelajaran, Virus Corona (COVID-19) AbstractThis article aimed to analyze and describe learning innovations in the Covid-19 pandemic. Learning innovation are expected to provide solutions for Covid-19 prevention. Because of that, the collaboration among parents, teachers, and the government is highly recommended to realize effective and efficient education despite the current epidemic that plagues the world today. The research method used was qualitative research with a literature review method. Data collection was carried out by tracing various sources in the form of government documents, mass media, and relevant research results that were previously analyzed using policy research and supported by interviews with several elementary school level students. Data analysis used Content Analysis. The results of this study indicate that government policies in overcoming the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) have an impact on the emergence of new concepts related to learning innovations that can be applied. These learning innovations include Learning from Home: Collaboration between school and parents, learning as an opportunity as well as a challenge, and learning model innovation of Blended Learning. Hopefully, these innovations can provide optimal results and can enhance collaboration among parents, teachers, and the government to create qualified education and be able to compete globally. Technology-based learning innovations are expected to not only take place during the Covid-19 pandemic but also to be applied after the Covid-19 ends for more advanced and qualified education. Keywords: Innovation, Learning, Coronavirus Desease (COVID-19)

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya adab di kalangan pelajar dan pendidik di Indonesia. Banyak kasus-kasus yang beredar di beberapa tayangan televisi dan media cetak tentang banyaknya pelajar yang tidak mempunyai sopan santun kepada gurunya dan berbagai tindakan menyimpang guru terhadap muridnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah agar guru dan murid mampu menerapkan adab-adab dalam kitab Bidayatul Hidayah, terutama di lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kepustakaan (Library research). Metode ini merupakan metode yang berkaitan dengan pengumpulan data dengan cara membaca, menelaah, menganalisis dan lebih menekankan pada analisis yang bersifat deskriptif, teoritis dan filosofis serta tidak perlu turun ke lapangan untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada beberapa adab yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang guru dan murid berdasarkan dalam kitab Bidayatul Hidayah. Selain itu, seorang guru (Muallim) harus memiliki sifat yang berwibawa dan mampu membimbing muridnya. Sedangkan KD dan KI yang ada di dalam buku Akidah akhlak kelas satu MI menunjukkan kesesuaian kitab Bidayatul Hidayah mengenai adab-adab yang harus dilakukan oleh seorang murid kepada gurunya, dengan materi akidah akhlak yang ada di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah kelas satu ini. Kitab bidayah bisa digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di sekolah. Hal ini dapat diimplementasikan ketika proses belajar mengajar, seperti berbicara saat diskusi dan bertanya.Kata kunci: Adab Guru dan Murid, Kitab Bidayatul Hidayah, Membina Karakter Siswa MI  AbstractThis research was motivated by the low level of manners among students and teachers in Indonesia. Many cases are circulating on several television shows and printed media about, many students who do not have manners to their teachers and also several teachers’ deviant behaviors towards their students. The aim of this research was to make teachers and students be able to apply the manners contained in Bidayatul Hidayah book, especially in the school environment. The method used was library research method. This method is a method related to data collection by reading, studying, analyzing and more emphasizing on the analysis that is descriptive, theoretical and philosophical in nature and going to the field to collect data is not needed. The results of this study indicate that there are several manners that must be possessed by teachers and students according to Bidayatul Hidayah book. Beside that, a teacher (Muallim) must have an authoritative character and be able to guide his students. Meanwhile, the Basic Competencies (KD) and Core Competencies (KI) in the first grade of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah's Akidah morals book show the suitability of the Bidayatul Hidayah book regarding the manners that must be carried out by a student to his teacher, with the material of akidah morals in the first grade of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Bidayah book can be used as a teaching material at school. This can be implemented during the teaching and learning process, such as speaking in discussions and asking questions. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain didaktis dalam mengantisipasi learning obstacles berpikir aljabar di sekolah dasar. Adapun metode penelitiannya menggunakan metode Didactical Design Research (DDR) yang dilakukan dengan terlebih dahulu meneliti learning obstacles yang dihadapi siswa, lalu kemudian mengembangkan situasi-situasi didaktis dan antisipasi didaktis untuk mengatasi learning obstacles yang ditemukan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 66 siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian dihasilkan desain didaktis yang berisi lima lesson design yang berhubungan dengan generalisasi pola yaitu lesson design mengenalkan pola dan membuat generalisasi pola yang sederhana bentuk penjumlahan, lesson design membuat generalisasi pola bentuk perkalian, lesson design membuat generalisasi pola yang mempunyai dua komponen berbeda, lesson design generalisasi pola dengan menganalisis aturan keseluruhan komponen dalam setiap pola, serta lesson design membuat generalisasi pola dengan memperhatikan susunannya.Kata kunci: berpikir aljabar, desain didaktis, learning obstacle  AbstractThis study aimed to develop a didactic design in anticipating learning obstacles in algebraic thinking in elementary schools. The research method used the Didactical Design Research (DDR) method which was carried out by first examining the learning obstacles faced by students, then developing didactic situations and didactic anticipation to overcome the learning obstacles that were found. Participants in this study were 66 students of grade III elementary school. The data were collected by means of tests and interviews. From the results of the study, a didactic design was produced which contained five lesson designs that were related to pattern generalization, namely lesson design introducing patterns and making generalized patterns that were simple in the form of addition, lesson design making generalized patterns of multiplication forms, lesson design making generalized patterns having two different components, lesson design of generalized patterns by analyzing the rules of all components in each pattern, and lesson design of generalized patterns by paying attention to their arrangement.Keyword: algebraic thinking, didactical design, learning obstacle

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya komunikasi matematis siswa, hasil kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa di MI PUI Sangiang belum mencapai nilai KKM  yaitu 75. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization pada mata pelajaran matematika, untuk mengetahui komunikasi siswa di kelas V MI PUI Sangiang dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization, untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa antar siklus dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa Penerapan model kooperatifftipe Team Assisted Individualization untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menerapkan model kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 61. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas yaitu 72. Pada siklus III dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 81, kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa di kelas V MI PUI Sangiang antar siklus dengan menggunakan model kooperatif Tipe Team Assisted Individualization mengalami peningkatan. Kesimpulannya bahwa model kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Matematis, Team Assisted IndividualizationAbstractThis study was motivated by the low mathematical communication of students in the subject of Mathematics. The results of mathematical communication skills of students at MI PUI Sangiang had not reached the KKM score of 75. This study aimed to determine the application of the cooperative model of Team Assisted Individualization type in the subject of Mathematics, to determine student communication in the fifth grade at MI PUI Sangiang by using the cooperative model of Team Assisted Individualization type, and to determine the improvement of mathematical communication skills of the students between cycles by using the cooperative model of Team Assisted Individualization type. This study used a classroom action research (CAR) method. The results of this study indicate that the application of the cooperative model of Team Assisted Individualization type in improving mathematical communication skills of the students has been implemented well. Mathematical communication skills of the students assisted with the cooperative model of Team Assisted Individualization had increased in each cycle. The average score of the mathematical communication skills of the students in cycle I was 61. The class average score in cycle II was 72. In cycle III, the average score reached 81. Mathematical communication skills of the fifth-grade students at MI PUI Sangiang between cycles assisted by the cooperative model of the Team Assisted Individualization Type had improved. In conclusion, the cooperative model of the Team Assisted Individualization type can improve the mathematical communication skills of students.Keywords: mathematical communication, Team Assisted Individualization
