Abstract

Currently, there is an increase in workforce that start new independent businesses in the creative economy, either as entrepreneurs or freelancers, this  because number of job is not comparable to the number of the workforce. The increase in workers in the creative economy is in line with the digital transformation in Indonesia. The government also responded well to this by making programs related to the creative economy, especially in the digital field. Pontianak City has the potential for development with an increase in the number of workers in the creative economy every year, but Pontianak City does not yet have space to accommodate workers' activities. Co-working space can accommodate workers in the creative economy so they can work in a productive and creative environment. In addition, the provision of supporting digital services in co-working spaces is expected to support entrepreneurs or freelancers in developing their business into the digital field. The co-working space design process uses an ecological approach. Ecological approach is an approach that is environmentally friendly. The Ecological Approach serves as a tool that are implemented towards designs that take into account the potential for the natural surroundings as well as the interrelationships between buildings, nature and people.

Abstract

Transportation is the activity of moving an individual or group and tools or goods from one place to another. There are 3 types of transportation: land, water and air. Transportation by type is grouped into private transportation and public transportation. In Kapuas Hulu there are 6 Bus Terminals, one of which is the Type B Bus Terminal in Kedamin which is the highest type bus terminal in Kapuas Hulu. For the Type B Bus Terminal, the Kedamin Terminal has not met the requirements stipulated in government regulations, so it is necessary to redesign it to meet the standard for the Type B terminal. Bus terminals that look dirty are due to the unloading and loading activities that are not in place so that it disturbs the comfort of bus terminal visitors. Supporting facilities for bus management activities is inadequate. Insufficient arrival and departure waiting areas. Activities on a regular basis are disrupting the circulation of vehicles, therefore it is necessary to redesign the Kedamin Bus Terminal. The Bus Terminal design applies a contextual concept to adapt the conditions of the building on site to the surrounding conditions.

Abstract

The tourism potential and area of West Kalimantan make it difficult for tourists to enjoy its natural and cultural tourism. The distance is quite far, making it difficult for tourists to share a short time to enjoy all the tours available. When viewed from the potential side, West Kalimantan has advantages such as abundant tourist attractions, culture, ethnicity, and various cultures. With this potential, it is necessary to have a container that can cover all the potential that exists in one area in the form of West Kalimantan Mini Park. The purpose of designing the Mini Park of West Kalimantan is expected to present the religious tourism potential of West Kalimantan in an integrated tourist area in Kubu Raya. The design method used in the design of Taman Mini West Kalimantan refers to 5 stages of design, which will start from the initial stages, preparation, submitting proposals, evaluating, and taking action. The design results are in the form of recreational tourism areas and cultural potential in the form of pavilions that represent districts / cities in West Kalimantan.

Animals are inseparable from human daily life because life is balanced between humans, animals and the surrounding environment. Pets are domestic animals, for example cats or dogs, kept as friends, treated with love and affection. Some of these animals are kept because of their characteristics or because of their beauty. There is a description in the form of data on animal diseases and animal health which is the main discussion of pet care. In Pontianak City, there are many pet shops or clinics with veterinarians in charge. The location of the pet shops and clinics are scattered and some are joined to or adjacent to shop houses or other public commercial areas. Activities or events are also usually held in public places and are free, not in one fixed place. The design method is to find out something through systematic stages. The design method used is according to J. C. Jones in the book Architectural Design Methods. The stages used are the stages of ideas, information, analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and optimization. The goal to be achieved is to formulate the planning and design of West Kalimantan Pet Care in Pontianak City that can facilitate health facilities, care, care, and activities related to animals, and cafes and retail shops for general visitors.

Abstract

As the world population, the majority of Indonesian’s town all knows an increase of their population that results in an augmentation of the housing needs. What is called Micro-housing is a new global trend that targets a younger worker part of the population and also a newly married couple that doesn’t have children yet. Indeed, this part of the population is in need to find house or apartment close to their workplace, close to the transportation of the city but also close to all the other town facilities like hospitals, restaurant, stores. This desire of finding a house or apartment in a strategic location known as the center of a town tends to increase but the available spaces to build more houses tend to decrease. That is why one of the solutions to this space problem is micro-housing; this type of new housing will allow responding to this problem of available space. This design project is not only about reducing space, but it is also focus on being able to design and create a layout space that responds to the multiple needs of the tenant by using multiple techniques in the design layout but also using transformable and foldable pieces of furniture.

Abstract

Raudhatul Ulum Meranti Islamic Boarding School is a da'wah institution that was established to educate the generation of Muslims in Indonesia, especially in West Kalimantan. Raudhatul Ulum Meranti Islamic Boarding School was founded in 1896 in a village called Meranti Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya Regency. The curriculum applied by the pesantren initially only adhered to the classical system (teaching the yellow book) and developed into a curriculum sourced from the Ministry of Religion (KEMENAG). The aim of developing the area of Raudhatul Ulum Meranti Islamic Boarding School is to make facilities suitable for the modern education system. The design location is on Jalan Muhajirin, Kampung Meranti, Puguk Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya Regency. The stage method in this design starts from the Idea Stage, Data Collection, Analysis, Synthesis, Pre-Design and Design Development. The concept of Natural Pro Rate is applied so the areas that are still green do not have to build by destroying nature in the area, but rather organize and maintain the natural conditions in order to remain green. The results of the development design at Raudhatul Ulum Meranti Islamic Boarding School can make the mosque building as the heart of the area. Worship and educational facilities are made with Islamic nuances by combining ornaments in the building and creating a separate area between the male and female students.
