IKOMIK: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi dan Informasi merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan dan dikelola oleh Jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi dan Informasi, Fakultas Hukum, Ilmu Sosial, dan Ilmu Politik (FHISIP) Universitas Terbuka sejak Tahun 2021. Abstract

Scientific publication must be accountable for its sources, processes and results. This research is based on allegations of diversity citations used in research. These assumptions are influenced by research topics, knowledge development, technology, shifting of the library paradigm, librarian and student competencies. The purpose of this research is to mapping developments literature on thesis Library Information Management (MIP) students. The results of the study can be used as a reference consideration (secondary data) for further research. The research method uses bibliometric citation analysis. Citations are grouped with the help of co-classification mapping theory and will be elaborated descriptively based on predetermined indicators. The total data examined is 63 theses consisting of 2709 literatures. The Indicators used to analyze include the language of literature, the type of literature, the subject of literature, the list of authors along with the title of the essay and the list of publishers. The Citation analysis results include: (1). Analysis of the language of literature is to find out the variety of languages, it can be seen from the increasing use of foreign-language literature. (2). Analysis of the type of literature is to answer the development of literature. (3). Analysis of the subject used to mapping knowledge, the subject is influenced by the research perspective. (4). The essence of the results of the citation analysis using these indicators reveals that the citations in the Information Management and Library thesis of the 2007/2008-2012 / 2013 class vary. The mapping of the literature shows that annually experiencing development, change, and dynamic due to the main factor of technology and student ability.

Abstract

Almost all countries in the world are facing the Covid-19 pandemic whose spread is so massive. This affects various aspects of human life and has a domino effect in various fields including the economy. Indonesia's economy worsened, recorded in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020 experiencing a contraction of 5.32 percent. The UMKM sector has a strategic role and is predicted to be the motor for economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. This can be seen from the trend of the positive contribution of MSMEs to Indonesia's GDP in the pre-pandemic period which increased by around 60%. However, in this uncertain condition, ideas and innovations are needed in order to get out of the pressures and the worst possible economic crisis. This research will look at the potential for adopting digital literacy skills in the MSME sector as a strategy for post-Covid-19 economic recovery. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with the application of the information literacy method, The Big 6. The application of this method is expected to be a way to build more detailed and in-depth arguments regarding the subject of research. The results showed that the idea of adopting MSME digital literacy skills was needed as an answer to the challenges regarding the possibility of innovative behavior change (behavior) in the post-Covid-19 field of MSME. The transformation of MSMEs in the field of digital literacy in all sectors (production, promotion and marketing) has the potential to support faster post-Covid-19 economic recovery.

Abstract

There are many business competitions spread around in public. In order to be the top-of-mind in the competition, brands must be able to create unique selling propositions (USP) to be remembered by the public. Several approaches are popular and able to attract people’s attention, one of which is goodvertising, where brands emerge by communicating their concerns and attention to social issues. One brand that has recently used the goodvertising strategy is Burger King Indonesia. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic hitting the economies of many parties, Burger King launched a campaign on its Instagram @burgerking.id with the message to buy products from its competitors. It is interesting to see how the goodvertising strategy is used by Burger King Indonesia, combined with the concept of viral advertising. Through this qualitative research with a constructivist paradigm, with this case study research method, it is found that in the pandemic era, with the most significant internet users and Burger King consumers tend to be millennials, the goodvertising strategy carried out by Burger King Indonesia, combined with E-WOM and the viral advertising, provides a significantly good impact for the rise of the brand image in society. In addition, the increase in the brand image of Burger King can also be seen in the participation of the general public in voicing, sharing, and reuploading related McDonald’s campaigns with the creation of the hashtags #pesandarimcdonalds and #pesanlahdarimcdonald on Instagram. Abstract

The form of social solidarity in Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah University Library can be illustrated in the form of transactional leadership. Purpose of this study was to determine how the forms of social solidarity possessed by the Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta library through transactional leadership. This research method used descriptive qualitative approach, the data validity is tested through triangulation techniques while the data analysis used in research is through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the forms of social solidarity reflected in the Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah University library can be seen from several factors that show the form of social solidarity in transactional leadership, among others: a). Collaboration is formed from harmony, Co-optation, Bargaining, Coalition and Join venture. b) Mutual cooperation with details of solidarity and togetherness Bentuk solidaritas sosial di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta dapat tergambarkan pada bentuk kepemimpinan transaksional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk-bentuk solidaritas sosial yang dimiliki oleh perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta melalui kepemimpinan transaksional. Metode dalam penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, Adapun uji keabsahan data melalui teknik triangulasi sedangkan untuk menganalisis data melalui reduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Bentuk- bentuk dari solidaritas sosial yang tercerminkan di perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta dapat dilihat dari beberapa faktor yang memperlihatkan bentuk solidaritas sosial dalam kepemimpinan transaksional tersebut antara lain: a). Kerjasama yang terbentuk dari kerukunan, Kooptasi, Bargaining, Koalisi dan Join venture. b) Gotong Royong dengan rincian adanya kesetiakawanan dan kebersamaan.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek dalam kajian komunikasi antar budaya adalah komunikasi yang terjadi di antara perkawinan campuran pasangan suami istri yang berasal dari dua latar belakang budaya berbeda. Komunikasi yang berlangsung di antara mereka disebut komunikasi antarbudaya. Artikel ini akan membahas sejauh mana penggunaan komunikasi nonverbal pada proses komunikasi yang berlangsung pada pasangan beda kewarganegaraan. Metodologi yang dipakai adalah kualitatif fenomenologi dengan teknik nonprobabilita purposif sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah budaya dan psikologis berpengaruh dalam proses komunikasi seseorang. Fungsi komunikasi nonverbal dalam perkawinan campuran dapat berbeda karena dipengaruhi beberapa hal, salah satunya adalah penggunaan bahasa verbal. Miskomunikasi dapat terjadi ketika orang antarbudaya berkomunikasi. Komunikasi antarbudaya dapat dikatakan efektif apabila kedua pihak dapat secara akurat memprediksi dan menjelaskan perilaku masing-masing. The practice of mixed marriage between husband and wife comes from two different cultural backgrounds, the communication that is different between them is called intercultural communication. The methodology used is qualitative phenomenology with a non-probability purposive sampling technique. This study is conducte to determine the use of nonverbal communication in the communication process that occurs in couples of different nationalities. The results obtained from this study are cultural and psychological influences on a person’s communication process. The function of nonverbal communication in communication in mixed marriages can be different because it is influence by several things, one of which is the use of verbal language. Miscommunication can occur when people across cultures communicate. Intercultural communication can be said to be effective if both parties can accurately predict and explain each other’s behavior.

Abstract

Peran teknologi komunikasi di bidang e-health semakin terasa perannya dalam kondisi wabah Covid-19. Pada masyarakat rural, seringkali akses informasi sulit karena susahnya mengakses e-health. Bagi masyarakat urban, akses informasi sangat mudah karena akses terhadap e-health juga dimudahkan dengan kemudahan mengakses jaringan internet. Penelitian ini berupaya menggali terkait perbadingan pola pencarian informasi Kesehatan berbasis Risk Perception Attitude Framework dalam kasus Covid-19 pada masyarakat rural dan urban. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey non eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa a) pola pencarian informasi antara wilayah Rural dan Urban terdapat perbedaan. Masyarakat rural tergolong pada kelompok masyarakat proactive dan masyarakat urban pada kelompok masyarakat responsive; b) pola pencarian informasi juga berdampak pada persepsi atas risiko wabah Covid-19 dimana mereka sama-sama aktif melakukan pencarian informasi; c) tidak ditemukannya perbedaan antara masyarakat rural dan urban sehingga dalam penelitian ini tidak ditemukan adanya masyarakat yang rentan karena rendahnya informasi Covid-19.

Abstract

This article examines the productivity of the scientific work of UIN KHAS Jember lecturers in Scopus indexed journals. The method used is the descriptive method with bibliometric analysis. The VOSviewer application is used in the bibliometric study to make it easier to visualize the results found. The results show an inconsistency in the naming of UIN KHAS Jember affiliations on Scopus. The highest productivity occurred in 2020 with 37 scientific papers produced by lecturers. The subject area of ​​most articles falls under the social sciences area. Most of the scientific work produced is available in open access form. In contrast to productivity based on the year of publication, the highest citation occurred in 2021. Meanwhile, the lecturer with the most scientific work productivity is Mukhlis, M. Not all scientific works produced result from lecturer collaboration. However, for lecturers who have collaborated, cooperation is carried out through collaboration with various institutions within and outside the country. Students are the terms that appear the most based on the keywords used. Artikel ini mengkaji produktivitas karya ilmiah dosen UIN KHAS Jember pada jurnal terindeks Scopus. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan analisa bibliometrik. Aplikasi VOSviewer digunakan dalam Analisa bibliometric guna memudahkan membuat visualisasi terhadap hasil yang ditemukna Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat inkonsistensi penamaan afiliasi UIN KHAS Jember pada Scopus. Produktivitas tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2020 dengan 37 karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan oleh para dosen. Area subjek artikel paling banyak masuk di bawah wilayah social sciences. Sebagian besar karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan tersedia dalam bentuk akses terbuka. Berbeda dengan produktivitas berdasarkan tahun terbit, sitasi tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2021. Sedangkan dosen dengan produktivitas karya ilmiah terbanyak adalah Mukhlis, M. Belum semua karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan merupakan hasil dari kolaborasi dosen. Meskipun demikian, bagi para dosen yang telah berkolaborasi, kolaborasi dilaksanakan melalui kerjasama dengan berbagai lembaga baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri. Berdasarkan kata kunci yang digunakan, students merupakan istilah yang paling banyak muncul.

Abstract

Abstrak Pada masyarakat digital, pemanfaatan media baru dalam bentuk aplikasi yang bisa diakses melalui gawai untuk memenuhi berbagai kebutuhannya, semakin dominan. Fenomena semakin tingginya intervensi teknologi dalam aktivitas keseharian masyarakat dikenal melalui konsep mediatisasi. Pada satu sisi, mediatisasi membawa banyak keuntungan bagi masyarakat karena memberi cara baru memenuhi kebutuhan dengan kemudahan, kepraktisan, dan kenyamanan yang jauh lebih menyenangkan. Namun di sisi lain, ada ideologi yang dibawa oleh mediatisasi. Artikel ini menganalisis mediatisasi aplikasi Traveloka dalam memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat Indonesia dalam melakukan perjalanan melalui proses extension, substitution, amalgamation, dan accommodation. Selain itu, artikel ini juga mengungkap ideologi yang dibawa oleh aplikasi Traveloka.
