Abstract

This study's objective is to examine the factors that influence the quantity of oil exported from Indonesia, including the area of plantations, the price of palm oil, the exchange rate, and the amount of palm oil production. In the current study, Time Series data spanning the years 1989 to 2020 were subjected to an Error Correction Model (ECM) Test. This research was compiled using data from both the 2019-2021 National Leading Plantation Statistics book and the World Bank. In the near future, test results will be available. Price has a significant inverse relationship with Area, while Area has a significant positive relationship. Both of these connections are important. As indicated by a probability value of less than 5%, the exchange rate variable has a significant and negative relationship with the volume of palm oil exports in the long run, while the area variable has a significant and positive relationship with the volume of palm oil exports. Both of these connections are important.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence poverty in East Java Province. This data analysis utilizes the ECM (Error Correction Model) method to see the effect of long-term and short-term prospects with the Eviews 10 application. This observation uses secondary data in the form of time series data published by BPS in 2000 – 2021. The results reveal that the education level variable has an influence positive and significant for poverty both in the long-term and short-term prospects, the open unemployment rate variable has a positive and significant effect on poverty in the long and short term, and the minimum wage variable has a negative and significant effect on the long-term prospects on the other hand in the long-term prospects short has no significant effect on poverty.

Abstract

The demographic structure and change that happens through time is one of the most influential factors on economic development. Ignoring the demographic structure might result in discrepancies, which will affect planning issues. Ultimately, this results in inequalities in several economic, social, and political spheres. Meanwhile, the economic sector is one of the most effective areas of the demographic structure. This research aims to determine the extent to which population development factors impact Indonesia's work force participation rate. This research employs a time-series analysis technique using the ARDL Error Correction Model analytical instrument. ARDL models may be used to models with varying degrees of stationarity. Short-term fertility characteristics had a significant and negative influence on the work force participation rate, according to the findings of the investigation. On the other side, the dependence ratio and short-term government expenditures have a significant and positive influence on the work force participation rate. However, global factors have insignificant influence on the labor force participation rate in long-term.

Abstract

Economic growth is a goal that every country wants to achieve. Economic growth in Indonesia is influenced by many factors. This study aims to analyze the effect of the exchange rate, population and inflation on economic growth in Indonesia for the period 1990-2019. The method used in this research is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) after it is known that there is cointegration in the VAR model testing. From the research results, it is stated that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) variable has a relationship with Economic Growth in the long term. Then in the short-term relationship, the population variable with the highest R-square value is 0.981823. Meawhile, the results of Variance Decomposition show the effects that occur due to shocks from changes in one variable to other variables occur in various ways.

Abstract

This research seeks to investigate and give empirical data about the partial and simultaneous effects of capital intensity, sales growth, and institutional ownership on tax avoidance. The population of this research consists of food and beverage firms that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This inquiry utilizes previously gathered information. Using a method of stratified sampling, data was acquired. This investigation's sample consists of twelve firms. Five years are being discussion, from 2017 to 2021. Multiple linear regression analysis with Eviews version 9 is the method of data analysis used here. According to the study's findings, there is a high correlation between tax evasion and the amount of business capital intensity and institutional ownership, but not with sales growth. Tax evasion is significantly influenced by concurrent study on topics like sales growth, capital intensity, and institutional ownership.

Abstract

This study seeks to determine the influence of Human Development Index (HDI), Average Length of Schooling, Open Unemployment Rate, and Per capita Expenditures have on poverty in Cities in West Java Province during 2010 – 2020. This study uses a random effect model which is selected from three panel data processing methods through testing. The results showed that the HDI variables, the average length of schooling, the open unemployment rate and per capita expenditure together had an effect on the variation in the rise/fall of poverty. Simultaneously, the HDI variables, the average length of schooling, the open unemployment rate and per capita expenditure have a significant effect on poverty. Partially, the HDI variable and the average length of schooling have a significant effect on poverty. Meanwhile, the variables of the open unemployment rate and per capita expenditure have no significant effect on poverty.

Abstract

The Preamble to Indonesia's 1945 Constitution declares unequivocally that the state was established to protect the whole Indonesian population, advance the public welfare, and educate the nation's citizens. The government has implemented a number of development programs with the primary goal of promoting community welfare. Nevertheless, efforts to quantify welfare continue to be a subject of study for economists. In recent years, definitions and methodologies for evaluating welfare in economic development have continued to evolve. This study examines the relationship between population, household consumption, urbanization, and community welfare, as assessed by Indonesia's per capita GDP from 1990 to 2019. This investigation use the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) technique. According to the findings of the estimation, the variables population (JP) [-3.05594] and household consumption (KRT) [-5.17939] have a meaningful effect on people's welfare (GDP per Capita), whereas urbanization (URB) has no influence.

Abstract

In the modern era of Covid-19 and the ongoing new normal modernization process, the business world is required to be more responsive to all innovations that occur in order to be able to survive, continue to develop, and achieve its goals. Therefore, the company will be able to compete with other businesses if the performance of its employees is competitive. This study aims to identify employee performance factors at PT. XYZ during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Determination of the subject through the use of deliberately selected sampling. Interview and observation are the two main methods used in the data collection process. The findings show that in terms of leadership style, their leaders encourage them to take the initiative, and their leaders let their employees carry out tasks in a way that employees find most effective. Relations between employees in the workplace are still quite good. For example, if one employee is having a hard time, there are several other employees who care or are willing to help, and that employee is not hindered in his work. This will affect employee performance, and employees will feel more comfortable working if facilities are available. Besides, PT. XYZ shows the company's employees that they are not given any gifts or rewards in the company as part of the work motivation program they participate in.
