Abstract

E-learning is formal and non-formal learning carried out using technology, allowing students and teachers to conduct teaching and learning processes using electronic media. By using the e-learning module, YouTube can be included to create material and to ease learning. However, a lot of educational videos on YouTube cover ground already well-covered. Accordingly, the audience cannot skip unnecessary things. Therefore, a YouTube API-based e-learning module was built to help users learn the material effectively. A System Usability Scale (SUS) was employed in this study, allowing easier data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis acquired a score of 68 (B), signifying the usefulness of the module. The module provided convenience to the users to grasp the material in a brief time.

Abstract

It is crucial to have a reliable and adequate information system to implement information technology. It explains why technology must continue advancing in this area, specifically regarding the Information Technology Department’s information management at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). Information has been disseminated through the WhatsApp and Telegram applications, leading to improper conveying of the made and supplied information due to excessive stacking. Hence, a web-based information system was developed in PHP with the help of the Laravel framework to overcome the issue. Moreover, a database was set up using MySQL to circumvent the issue. The newly constructed information system could enhance information management, leading to more accurate and efficient information generation for various uses.

Abstract

One of Indonesian micro financial services is Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) provides services such as savings, financing and zakat activities. Financing service determine qualifying status based on consideration of customer files before carried out in company discussions. This decision support system aims to provide officers to decide whether or not to admit funding. The research used Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) by finding the prejudiced sum of the performance ratings for each alternative from all criteria. The method used 7 criteria including income, outstanding loans, amount of financing, collateral, nature/environment, track record of financing and monthly expenses. Customers were declared acceptable if they had a preference value above the minimum limit of 16.1. The BMT officer can adjust the minimum limit value according to customer performance. To develop the system used waterfall method and to verify system performance used a black box test which shows the results that the system works according to its function and the validity test results obtained 100% accurate. It means the system is ready and suitable for use. The existence of this decision support system is able to assist officers in making decisions to qualify for financing objectively.

Abstract

The vision, mission, and work indicators of high school education are all geared toward producing graduates of excellent quality. Students’ academic performance in the first and second grades indicates their eventual excellence as graduates. However, it is not feasible to ensure that students in the third year have good results only by comparing their academic achievements during the first and second grades. School leaders and policymakers can benefit from data analysis and visualization by gaining insight into recurring patterns and emerging trends in their stored data. Leaders and management at schools can benefit significantly from Rapidminer’s decision tree and cross-validation data analysis methods when trying to figure out what to do about students performing well or poorly academically.

Abstract

As a result of periodic shifts, technological advancements are becoming more varied. The payroll system for employees is one of them. Payroll must follow the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP) to determine several issues. Thus, the system can be customized to match the company’s specific needs and SOP. The administration and finance departments encounter difficulty processing employee payroll due to frequent errors in employee data entry, including position, department, income, and deductions. The absence of a payroll information system that can reliably and rapidly calculate employee salaries and provide timely reports has become the primary source of the difficulty. The designed employee payroll information system only processed PT. Bio Pilar Utama’s payroll data. Facilitating the administration and finance departments to input data, calculate salaries, store data, and generate reports on employee payroll could be achieved through the newly developed employee payroll information system.
