Abstract

The purpose of implementing this activity is to help improve the quality of palm sugar production in Karang Bayan Village and to be able to expand market share, both local and modern markets by marketing through social media. This study used a descriptive method, namely UNRAM KKN students in Karang Bayan Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency for the 2023 period conducted a survey directly to the location of palm sugar production. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the production process of solid palm sugar includes the preparation of tools and materials, the processing process which includes tapping, boiling, filtering, printing, as well as packaging and branding. Marketing is done through branding and e-catalogs. Branding is an effort to build and enhance the identity of a brand/brand with a very broad scope, while branding efforts include making a business name, logo and business location. While the E-catalog is data on various products that are designed with an editing application. E-catalog creation efforts include a list of business products as well as product information such as prices, product photos, cellphone numbers and addresses. The benefits of e-catalog itself are that it is easier to access by various parties, information on goods and services is more transparent and more effective in improving the performance of goods procurement

Setanggor is one of the villages located in the Sukamulia District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The community in this village, 80% of whom work as farmers, spends a lot of time in the fields. However, the prevalence of stunting in this village is still relatively high. Therefore, the goal of the Community Service Program (KKN) by the Mataram University's PMD (Community Development Program) during the period of December 2023 to February 2024 is to assist the community in addressing stunting through increasing awareness and collective action in stunting prevention. The methods used include socialization, distribution of nutritious food, and Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Post). The results obtained from these activities include increased awareness and knowledge among the villagers regarding the importance of maintaining a healthy and clean lifestyle, as well as the need for adequate intake of nutritious food to prevent malnutrition in children

Abstract

Desa Lenek Ramban Biak has transformed into an ecotourism village due to its various tourism potentials, including natural, cultural, and religious attractions. However, both the government and local communities lack awareness of the importance of managing village tourism. Through the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) conducted by PMD UNRAM, efforts have been made to enhance cleanliness and attract more visitors. Activities include creating photo spots, producing promotional videos, and establishing waste disposal facilities through collective clean-up efforts. The implementation methods involve crafting waste bins from recycled bamboo, conducting clean-up drives at tourist spots, producing promotional videos, and creating photo spots using wood and bamboo. The addition of photo spots aims to make the tourist destination more appealing. The use of bamboo waste bins is intended to raise awareness among the community about waste management and promote a cleaner and healthier environment. Additionally, leveraging technological advancements for promotional video production facilitates wider outreach through social media platforms, thereby increasing awareness among the public. Social media serves as a convenient channel for disseminating information about the tourist destination.

Abstract

HOTS is one of the skills that 21st century students must have. However, not all students have HOTS such as analysis, evaluation and creation. This community service activity aims to develop Students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) at SD Negeri 3 Anyar, North Lombok Regency through the use of digital media. The digital media in question are power points and learning videos. This community service activity was carried out at SD Negeri 3 Anyar with the number of participants being all 37 class III students. The activity was carried out on October 14 2023. The activity method was divided into three stages, namely introduction, core and conclusion. The data collection technique for HOTS is carried out by giving an essay test with four questions to activity participants. The percentage of classical completeness is declared complete if 85% of students get a score of more than or equal to 75. The results of the activity show that the average HOTS score for students is 83.4, with a percentage of classical completeness of 92%. Thus, digital media can be used as an alternative learning media to develop HOTS for class III students at SD Negeri 3 Anyar.

Abstract

Selengen Village is one of the villages in North Lombok Regency that always experiences drought and lack of clean water every year. The problem of clean water availability is caused by limited water sources on the surface. The frequency of rainwater in Selengen Village is very small and with very low intensity. In order to meet the need for clean water, the community has to pay additional costs to buy clean water or wait for a drop from the government. The Selengan Village community has limited information regarding simple methods that can be used to collect clean water sourced from rainwater. The method used to introduce rainwater capture as a source of clean water is to provide direct outreach to the Selengen Village community about rainwater storage in the form of ABSAH (Artificial Aquifer for Rainwater Savings). The ABSAH method can be done individually or in groups. The socialization was carried out at the Panggung Barat Hamlet office involving the community consisting of farmer groups, community leaders, youth organizations and housewives. The result of the socialization regarding the introduction of artificial rainwater aquifers is the high desire of the community to create rainwater storage, either independently/individually or in groups. In the process of making it, the community hopes to get assistance from the implementation team so that the calculation of the storage volume is in accordance with the volume of water used. Apart from that, the community also hopes to be given drawings of storage designs, installations for collecting water from the roofs of houses and designs of distribution networks to people's homes.

Abstract

As a result of rapid population growth, the Montong Are area in Mandalika Village, Mataram City experienced a change in land use from rice fields to residential land. The main obstacle faced is inadequate drainage due to the low position of the location and the height of the ground water level. Therefore, water often overflows onto the road surface during the rainy season, hampering traffic and causing damage to infrastructure. Water runoff can be reduced and drainage can be improved with the use of low-tech solutions such as biopores. Biopores outreach and training is needed to build a sustainable housing environment and reduce the negative impact of water runoff on road infrastructure. The stages of socialization activities include: Preliminary Survey; Preparation for implementation; Implementation of Socialization; evaluation stage; and Preparation of Reports and Outputs. The socialization activity began with the delivery of material about biopores and discussion, followed by a demonstration on how to make biopores. The community has been successfully educated about biopores and their function in absorbing rainwater into the soil and reducing the possibility of erosion and flooding. The community was very enthusiastic about taking part in the socialization of biopores making activities considering its benefits for use in road maintenance activities. The knowledge gained can increase public awareness of utilizing this concept as a solution that can be applied to overcome the problem of runoff and flooding on the road surface. So that people can actively participate in the construction and maintenance of biopores around where they live because of the benefits they experience

Abstract

The use of wood powder and leaf litter fertilizer in wetland rice farming has proven to be effective in improving agricultural productivity sustainably. The research was conducted in Setiris Village, particularly in the Tanjung Harapan Farmer Group, in Jambi Province. This organic fertilizer, besides reducing the environmental damage caused by wood powder waste, has also brought about positive changes in farming practices. Training and counseling have been conducted to enhance farmers' understanding of using organic fertilizer. Wood powder and leaf litter fertilizers enhance crop productivity and quality, improve soil structure, and reduce production costs. Thus, the use of these fertilizers supports sustainable and environmentally friendly farming in Setiris Village.
