Abstract

Implementation of Society 5.0 was adopted in various countries, including ASEAN. The abbreviation of ASEAN is the Association of Southeast Asian Nations with a total of ten member countries, mainly to promote regional peace and security. The development of decentralized data and communication that has spread across various media and channels has had a positive impact considering ASEAN's role as a link for many investors in various lines such as banking, transportation, e-commerce, telecommunications, and shipping, but it has also raised new concerns about cybercrime. Without supervision, government data including confidential information can be stolen due to cybercrime. It can be a threat to countries that are the target of terrorist attacks or wars through cyberattacks. Cyber security is a concern, without monitoring, the potential for cyberattacks and crimes will become a threat at any time. This study will analyze the development of cybersecurity in ASEAN countries in the Society 5.0 era using a bibliometric approach on several studies in Scopus indexed journals. The research phase begins with data collection using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application, data processing using the Mendeley and Ms. applications. Excel with the aim of selection so that the data is ready to be processed, then analyzed with the VOSviewer application. Based on the results of network visualization analysis, it was found that the keywords that appear the most in each cluster are: ‘ASEAN-civil society', cloud-storage', 'attack-cyberspace-defense', and 'big-data'. This cluster represents the "research stream" of cybersecurity and society. The keywords that appear are based on co-occurrence. The results of the analysis are expected to provide an overview of the latest research themes in the field of cybersecurity and international relations.

Abstract

Public service providers must react to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many government regulations to prevent this virus's spread affect service providers' public service standards. Improving public service standards will help stop this infection. Researchers in Bontang Lestari Village, hit by the COVID-19 epidemic, observed issues, including limited service hours, unprepared health protocol facilities, and uneven health protocol socialization. Then the research question is how public services based on health protocols are implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic in Bontang Lestari Village and what are the obstacles. This study examines public service health procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic in Bontang Lestari Village and the challenges they faced. This study used qualitative research. According to the research, the health protocol for using masks has not been optimally implemented because residents/employees still take off their masks when chatting/conducting services, the health protocol for washing hands has gone well and in accordance with the rules applied, and the health protocol for maintaining distance between residents has been set at 1 meter. Residents and staff' ignorance of health protocols hinders the public service process based on them. Thus, the chance of getting COVID-19 is rising, and residents have less time to take care of their requirements, making services seem substandar.

Abstract

Technology that is currently advancing at a rapid rate is unavoidable in daily life because technological progress will continue to coincide with scientific progress. To construct a government system, society's needs must be met in full. Society is essential to the development of a nation. The purpose of this study is to determine how the performance of an agency is overcoming problems that frequently arise in society, such as prohibited parking. The innovation of SIMDEK is the solution to all superfluous parking activities. This research employs a descriptive method, a qualitative method, and a qualitative approach, and its analysis of the results is based on a review of the relevant literature. Consequently, the authors of this study examine performance indicators, including input, process, output, results, benefits, and impact. The transportation agency's top priority in eradicating all violations is this issue. Based on the findings of this study, the efficacy of the transportation service in addressing illegal parking using the crane system has been extremely efficient since 2021. Nonetheless, in terms of supporting facilities for the illegal parking program through the SIMDEK application, this policy eliminates illegal parking by towing vehicles with a hydraulic vehicle. Since there is only one vehicle on the tow truck, the performance of the transport department is severely constrained. Therefore, it can be concluded that the performance of the transportation service through the crane information system (SIMDEK) has a significant effect on illegal parking violations and makes online reporting simpler for citizens.

Abstract

Indonesia's 22.5 million hectares of peat forest, which is capable of storing 30% of the world's carbon dioxide, has attracted Norway to provide international assistance in implementing the REDD+ scheme. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods to analyze Norway's international aid based on the concept of international aid and the effectiveness of international aid in the failure of peat forest restoration in Indonesia. Four Norwegian aid funding mechanisms through NICFI failed to reduce carbon emissions by 41%, following the provisions of the Letter of Intent (LoI) on REDD+ agreed upon by Indonesia and Norway in 2009. The reason is that Norway's national interests are mixed with international aid provided, so that is Self-Interest following the dimensions of international assistance. This also makes the effectiveness of international assistance insignificant even though it is following the five principles of the Paris Declaration on Aids Effectiveness. Keywords: REDD+, International Aid Concept, International Aid Effectiveness Concept, Funding Mechanism, Self-Interest, and Carbon Emissions
