At Tadbir: Journal of Islamic Education Management which is open-access for anyone who will contribute as a writer or reader. Abstract

The study aims to explore and analyze the potential use of AI in improving the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process at the Syekh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai Institute and the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra. The method used is a survey with a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The data analysis technique is carried out quantitatively by calculating the percentage of responses from participants. The subjects of this study were 30 lecturers and a number of students at both institutions. The results of the study showed that 75% of lecturers had a good understanding of AI, and 60% of students showed a high interest in learning about this technology. In addition, 80% of lecturers believed that AI could make teaching materials more interesting and interactive, and students felt the benefits through a richer learning experience. The implication is that to improve the integration of AI in religious education, collaboration between various stakeholders is essential.

Abstract

The halal industry has experienced rapid global growth, but its challenges extend beyond economic aspects. This research examines the roles of ethics, science, economics, and politics in supporting the sustainability of this sector. Using a qualitative approach, the study's findings indicate that optimizing the potential of the halal industry requires synergy between ethical values, scientific innovation, economic strength, and supportive political policies. The ethical dimension ensures fair and sustainable practices, science drives technological advancements for efficiency and transparency, economics fosters market growth, and politics provides clear regulations. The synergy between these dimensions will strengthen the halal industry's position internationally, promote sustainable development, and address challenges such as limited ethical understanding, technology access, and inconsistent regulations

Abstract

Peradaban Islam telah menunjukkan kontribusinya yang luar biasa dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, terutama dalam budaya dan sosial. Dalam konteks budaya, peradaban Islam melahirkan karya-karya monumental seperti seni, arsitektur, dan sastra yang mencerminkan kedalaman spiritual dan intelektual. Dalam aspek sosial, Islam menekankan pada nilai-nilai keadilan, persaudaraan, dan kesejahteraan umat melalui ajaran seperti zakat dan prinsip ukhuwah (persaudaraan). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif untuk menggali bagaimana peradaban Islam mengembangkan budaya dan struktur sosial yang harmonis. Melalui kajian terhadap teks-teks Al-Qur'an, hadis, dan karya ilmiah sejarah, ditemukan bahwa peradaban Islam tidak hanya berfokus pada kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga pada pembentukan masyarakat yang adil dan sejahtera. Islam mengajarkan prinsip amar ma’ruf nahi munkar untuk membangun masyarakat yang berbasis pada kebaikan bersama. Di masa modern, nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya Islam memiliki relevansi tinggi dalam mengatasi tantangan global, seperti ketimpangan sosial dan kerusakan lingkungan.
