Abstract

As we already known, along with the increasing and bigger of the population, the number of life necessities that must be fulfilled is also getting bigger. One of main necessities of life that must always be fulfilled are clean water. This study aims to: (1) to investigate the amount of clean water demand per capita in Bandar Lampung City; (2to identify all the factors that affect theamount of clean water needs, (3) to counting the amount of clean water consumption costs, (4) to compare this results than research before. Location of this research are at Bandar Lampung City area which covers 20 sub-districts and 126 villages. Data collection on clean water needs was carry out using a questionnaire that distributed to 126 households randomly. The conclution of this research, are: (1) The amount of clean water per capita at Bandar Lampung are about 130.44 ltr/person/day. (2) The factors that influence the amount of clean water used, are: number of family members, education status, type of work, number of vehicle ownership, and ease of obtaining water. The cost of clean water needs issued at Bandar Lampung City in every month ranges from Rp. 127,267.00 up to Rp. 187,449, 00. (4) The results that obtained in this study are far different from the results of Kindler and Russel's (1984), which stated that the average water use for households is 295 ltr /person/day. But the results obtained in this study approached the Planning Criteria Set by the Directorate General of Human Settlements, Public Works Agency in 1996, which stated that the Big City, which has population of 500,000 - 1,000,000 people, will has domestic water needs about 120 ltr/person/day until 150 ltr/person/day.

Abstract

The Polsek Sukarame Intersection is an intersection close to the Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) campus and the exit of Trans Sumatra toll gate. The increase in the volume of traffic in Bandar Lampung as well as the development of commercial areas around the intersection may cause traffic congestion so that it may cause problems in the future. Therefore an evaluation is needed to determine the feasibility of the performance of the Polsek Sukarame Intersection.This research aims to evaluate the performance of the intersection in 2020 by planning performance improvements. The planned intersection performance improvement is level. The main reference used in this research is PKJI 2014. This research uses primary data (environmental conditions and intersection geometry data) and secondary data (traffic flow on the intersection data). Primary data is obtained by direct observation, while secondary data comes from the data of a previous researcher. Based on the evaluation results, the Polsek Sukarame Intersection in 2020 is still feasible to operate according to the PKJI 2014 because the DJ (degree of saturation) value is <0.85. It is predicted that the degree of saturation will exceed 0.85 in 2033, so it requires performance improvements in a level manner. In general, the planned performance improvements include planning for widening approaches, roundabouts, and signalised intersection. The most optimum widening scheme of the approach is the combination scheme with the width of the Ryacudu approach of 10.00 m; Airan of 8.00 m; Senopati of 6.00 m; and Suhaimi of 10.00 m. Roundabout planning requires a minimum diameter of 30 m. It is recommended to use a 3-phase arrangement APILL junction with a widening approach. Cycle time is between 51-100 seconds. The maximum value of the degree of saturation is 0.40 and the maximum average delay of the intersection is 6.25 sec/veh, resulting in a service level indicator between indicators A and B. All these plans require sufficient land acquisition to facilitate the implementation of these plans.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penyusunan Outline Plan Air Limbah Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat Tahun 2016, pemenuhan kebutuhan prasarana dan sarana pengelolaan air limbah untuk memenuhi target Universal Acces berupa IPLT harus sudah tersedia dan siap dioperasikan pada tahun 2019, sehingga perencanaan pembangunan IPLT dapat mulai diselenggarakan pada tahun 2017. Ruang lingkup wilayah layanan tersebar di seluruh wilayah administrasi Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat. Ruang lingkup wilayah perencanaan DED IPLT berada di Kecamatan Penumangan Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat yang merupakan lokasi terpilih berdasarkan hasil penyusunan Outline Plan Air limbah Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat Tahun 2016. Dari hasil pemilihan alternatif teknologi, teknologi pengolahan lumpu tinja di IPLT Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat menggunakan sistem kolam stabilisasi. Sistem ini merupakan paling cocok dengan kondisi fisik, sosial dan ekonomi Wilayah perkotaan Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat. Rencana sistem pengolahan yang akan diterapkan merupakan sistem pengolahan yang paling efesien. Sehingga beradasarkan analisis, maka sistem pengolahan lumpur tinja di IPLT Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat direncanakan terdiri dari Kolam SSC, Kolam Anaerobik, Kolam Fakultatif dan Kolam Maturasi.

Abstract

Indonesia was often referred as an agrarian country, whereas an agrarian country is a country where the majority of its citizens work as farmers. With such large number of farmers and fields which are scattered around the country, agricultural infrastructure become one of the most important aspect in the process of building the country. Every year, Kementrian PUPR are offering projects which connected to agricultural infrastructure, whether it’s the construction of a new irrigation system or a rehabilitation of an old irrigation system. Irrigation system are typically build using concrete with on-site casting method. In irrigation system construction, unlike those in housing/ high rise building, concrete casting cannot be done when it’s raining. Rain could seep into the concrete mix and ruin the concrete quality due to excessive water content. One of the alternatives of this problem is by using precast concrete. Studi Penggunaan Beton Pracetak untuk Pembangunan Saluran Irigasi pada Musim Hujan will compare the effectiveness of using precast concrete method with on-site casting method in irrigation system concrete construction in Monsoon Season. This study will be done using analytical method with 3 case samples, which located in Sumatera Selatan and Lampung province. Analysis shows that on-site casting method in irrigation system concrete construction during Monsoon Season are very ineffective, where the concrete work achievement rate of the Monsoon Season is significantly worse compared to the Dry Season. Whereas, precast concrete method in irrigation system concrete construction during Monsoon Season have the same effectiveness compared to Dry Season.

Abstract

In order to preserve, reassure, maintain and sustainablity of water, water sources and structures, it is necessary to efforts and restraint the water's destruction their sources and the surrounding area. Border Line is the outer safety boundary line that is determined structures and / or border drawn at a parallel to the road median, the outside edge of the bridge head, river bank, channel edge, embankment, edge of the swamp, edge of reservoir, edge of spring , railway tracks, electric power lines and gas pipes, depending on the type of border line listed. On the outside of this line, landowners are not allowed to build buildings. Nowadays, especially in the area of ​​ Lampung Tengah Regency, there are many violations of this border line, both on the river border and irrigation border line. To anticipate this continuing situation, before constructing a building and applying for a building permit, landowners must know the various lines that are on the land they own. The control can be carried out in stages starting from giving a warning letter to this violation and providing an opportunity to correct before the last warning comes, which is then followed by an act of forced demolition.
