Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) di institusi pendidikan Islam dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas lulusan berjiwa kewirausahaan. TQM, yang fokus pada perbaikan berkelanjutan, keterlibatan seluruh pihak, dan kepuasan pelanggan, diterapkan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan menekankan pengembangan kurikulum, pelatihan guru, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sesuai nilai-nilai Islam dan kebutuhan pasar. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan library research dan analisis deskriptif-analitis untuk menilai literatur. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa TQM secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas lulusan melalui program kewirausahaan terintegrasi, partisipasi siswa, dan hubungan dengan dunia industri. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan resistensi terhadap perubahan diidentifikasi. Rekomendasi meliputi peningkatan investasi dalam pelatihan guru, kolaborasi dengan dunia usaha, dan inovasi berkelanjutan untuk memaksimalkan potensi TQM.

Abstract

This research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the leadership management of head master at MA Darunnajah Trenggalek. The main focus of the research is understanding Islamic-based leadership strategies, teacher empowerment, and responsiveness to the dynamics of contemporary Islamic education. This study used qualitative research methods. The data collection process involves in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, involving various participants, such as head master , teachers, and administrative staff. The research results show that Islamic-based leadership strategies have a positive impact on teacher performance at MA Darunnajah Trenggalek. Empowering teachers is the key to increasing their motivation and commitment, while responsiveness to the dynamics of contemporary Islamic education is found through curriculum updates and adaptive school policies. These findings contribute to the development of head master leadership practices in Islamic education environments. Practical implications include strengthening Islamic-based leadership strategies, increasing teacher empowerment, and developing responsive school policies. Recommendations include developing leadership training programs, aligning policies with Islamic values, and increasing collaboration with external parties. Thus, this research provides an in-depth view of leadership management at MA Darunnajah Trenggalek, providing a basis for developing policies and practices that are more effective in achieving the goals of Islamic education at the institution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai bagaimana PjBL dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan implementasi PjBL di lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas X dan XI serta guru di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang. Teknik pengambilan data meliputi observasi langsung selama proses pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam dengan siswa dan guru, serta analisis dokumen seperti rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan hasil proyek siswa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema yang muncul dari data yang dikumpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, meningkatkan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran, dan memperkuat keterampilan kolaboratif. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan sintesis informasi melalui proyek-proyek yang diberikan. Guru berperan penting sebagai fasilitator dalam mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan mandiri. Temuan ini mendukung hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang menyatakan bahwa PjBL efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kolaboratif siswa. Kesimpulannya, PjBL merupakan metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang, dengan dukungan perencanaan yang baik dan bimbingan guru yang efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using e-learning in accounting education at SMK Tulungagung. The research method employed is qualitative, utilising in-depth interview techniques with teachers and students to collect data on experiences and challenges in implementing e-learning. The findings indicate that e-learning provides beneficial flexibility in time and place, especially during the pandemic. However, there are obstacles in understanding complex accounting concepts and technology access disparities among students. Student responses varied, with some feeling enthusiastic and others encountering difficulties. Teacher support, interactive materials, and regular feedback proved crucial in enhancing the effectiveness of e-learning. To maximise the benefits of e-learning, there needs to be improved technology access, integration of interactive teaching methods, and direct teacher support. This study suggests strategies to overcome challenges and leverage e-learning as an effective tool in accounting education

Abstract

The growth of religious character in students is one of the important roles in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This religious character is manifested through a series of traits, morals, values and attitudes that are reflected in the individual's beliefs, religious practices and moral behavior. This goal can be achieved through effective PAI learning management. Proper PAI learning management will help teachers in designing, implementing and evaluating PAI learning in a systematic and directed manner. This aims to optimize the learning process and develop students' religious character to the maximum. Research aims: 1). To describe PAI learning planning in class VII in improving students' religious character at SMPN 1 Mojowarno Jombang. 2). To describe the implementation of PAI learning management in class VIII in improving the religious character of students at SMPN 1 Mojowarno Jombang. 3). To describe the evaluation of PAI learning in class VIII in improving the religious character of students at SMPN 1 Mojowarno Jombang. The model used in this research is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Research informants consisted of school principals, curriculum representatives, student affairs representatives, PAI teachers, and students. This research collects data using interview, observation and documentation instruments as well as analyzing data using data reduction, data display and verification. Meanwhile, in testing data validity, the criteria for credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability are the four basic criteria. Based on the research results, it can be concluded 1). Planning PAI learning in the classroom to improve students' religious character, namely determining specific goals, determining the teaching and learning process, determining learning references, and determining learning media. 2). The implementation of Pai's teaching and learning process in class VIII in improving students' religious character consists of 3 stages, namely the preliminary, core and closing processes. 3). Evaluation of PAI learning in class VIII in improving students' religious character in the form of determining evaluation of learning outcomes, data collection, data management and analysis, sustainability of actions and evaluation results

Abstract

Purpose - This study examines teachers' roles in enhancing students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at MAN 2 Tulungagung. It explores teaching strategies, challenges faced, and supporting factors contributing to increased motivation. Design/Methods/Approach - A qualitative approach involved observation, document analysis, and in-depth interviews with six key informants: PAI teachers, students, school principals, parents, and school psychologists. Data analysis followed qualitative procedures, including data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings - PAI teachers use group discussions, project-based learning, and technology integration to boost motivation. Teaching methods align with Self-Determination Theory (SDT) by linking lessons to students' daily lives. However, challenges like low student interest and time constraints persist. School support through training, resources, and parental involvement significantly aids motivation. Psychological factors influence learning outcomes, including self-confidence, social support, and material relevance. Research Implications/Limitations - This study highlights the importance of collaboration between teachers, schools, parents, and psychologists in fostering motivation. Findings are specific to MAN 2 Tulungagung and may not generalize to other contexts. Future research could examine similar factors in different settings. Originality/Value - This research provides new insights into the connection between teaching strategies, psychological factors, and stakeholder collaboration in religious education. It emphasizes integrating SDT principles with practical teaching methods and institutional support.

Abstract

This study focuses on implementing the Merdeka curriculum from the perspective of its management challenges, exploring the experiences and perceptions of stakeholders related to implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at MAN Jombang and using a qualitative study, interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis used data reduction, coding, and theme identification stages. To ensure data validity, the researcher applied source triangulation. The study findings indicate that implementing the Merdeka Curriculum faces challenges related to technology access and teacher readiness. Technology limitations, including unequal access to devices, hinder effective project-based learning, and administrative staff acknowledge the need for infrastructure improvements. Students appreciate the curriculum's focus on personal interests but need more guidance to navigate independent learning. Teachers have received training in project-based learning, but many teachers need help implementing new methods effectively. Although progress has been made, continued support, increased resources, and collaborative efforts among stakeholders are critical to successfully implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and improving educational outcomes. Limitations of the study include limited observation time and potential bias in participant responses. This study has yet to explore the long-term impacts of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Stakeholder collaboration research can provide deeper insights into practical strategies to address challenges and improve educational outcomes in Islamic education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum management in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project and Rahmatan lil Alamin Student Profile (P5-PPRA) with an entrepreneurial theme at MTsN 1 Jombang. This qualitative research employs a descriptive case study method to explore curriculum management across three key stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The findings reveal that the planning phase involves forming a facilitator team, developing project modules, and selecting relevant themes. During implementation, students are actively engaged in producing and marketing traditional food, thereby enhancing entrepreneurial skills and internalizing character values aligned with Pancasila and Rahmatan lil Alamin principles. The evaluation process is reflective and comprehensive, assessing both learning outcomes and character development. The program's success is attributed to strong collaboration among stakeholders, adequate facilities, and a culture of cooperation within the madrasah. These results suggest that flexible, inclusive, and sustainable curriculum management plays a vital role in responding to modern educational challenges. The study offers valuable insights that can guide other madrasahs and education policymakers in effectively applying project-based learning for character and competency development.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling management plays a vital role in adolescent development by helping students navigate the complex physical, emotional, and social transitions of puberty. This study aims to describe the management of guidance and counseling in dealing with puberty at MTs Negeri 17 Jombang. It employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study design, enabling an in-depth understanding of real-world implementation within a madrasah setting. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving counseling teachers, school leaders, and other key stakeholders. The findings show that guidance and counseling management is carried out systematically through planning based on student needs and aligned with the school calendar, implementation of services such as individual counseling, group counseling, and home visits, and reflective evaluation involving feedback from teachers, students, and parents. Supportive factors include institutional commitment, counselor competence, parental involvement, and a religious environment, while constraints include limited time and low student openness. This study offers practical insights into the implementation of structured counseling strategies to assist students in navigating the physical and emotional changes of puberty within a madrasah context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat kemandirian belajar peserta didik di MTsN 15 Jombang meskipun telah tersedia layanan bimbingan dan konseling (BK) yang dirancang untuk mendukung pengembangan potensi siswa secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis implementasi manajemen BK dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta memberikan rekomendasi strategi penguatan layanan di madrasah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala madrasah, guru BK, wali kelas, dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen BK telah dirancang secara sistematis melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program, namun efektivitasnya masih terhambat oleh keterbatasan jumlah konselor, rendahnya keterlibatan orang tua, dan variasi motivasi siswa. Layanan BK berkontribusi positif terhadap keterampilan pengaturan diri dan pengambilan keputusan belajar peserta didik, namun diperlukan strategi pendukung yang berkelanjutan, berbasis asesmen kebutuhan, integrasi teknologi, dan pendekatan partisipatif untuk membangun ekosistem belajar yang lebih mendukung kemandirian peserta didik di madrasah.
