Abstract

The total area of ​​mangrove forests in Indonesia is 25% of the total world-famous mangrove forests along 100,000 kilometers of coastline. Handling that can be done is to rebuild and restore the mangrove forest itself. The existence of GIS (Geographical Information System) provides a solution to overcome this problem. The GIS concept used includes spatial analysis in determining the location for planting coral reef forest seedlings in accordance with environmental characteristics. The GIS concept is implemented through an online mangrove seed donation system. The purpose of this research is to design an online donation system based on GIS. The method applied was the descriptive method and action (action). In designing the system, the methods used were object-oriented approach and prototype development methods. With this research, a system will be produced in the form of an online donation application in carrying out mangrove forest conservation, making it easier for people to conserve mangrove forests in Indonesia.

Abstract

Scalp disease is usually general in nature which tends to be ignored by sufferers because it is often considered harmless. This is a major factor slow to detect scalp disease so that if left untreated, the sufferer can be affected by acute scalp disease, which is very dangerous. This research builds an expert system to diagnose scalp disease earlier based on the symptoms that appear so that it is expected to assist medical personnel in identifying types of diseases, prevention solutions, and optimal treatment. This research used the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method, which combines similarity methods Similarity Measure introduced by Tversky with 10 types of diseases, 29 symptoms consisting of 110 cases of scalp disease. The results obtained in this study are a diagnosis of scalp disease, prevention solutions, and treatment. Abstract

The aim of this research is to design a proposed layout for bread production facilities that can minimize the moving distance and material handling costs. This study used the BLOCPLAN method as the design method. The BLOCPLAN method is a facility layout design method based on a hybrid algorithm and supported by the BLOCPLAN 90. With this method, 20 alternative layouts are obtained, then the researcher chooses 3 layouts that had the greatest proximity value. Layout 13 produced a smaller total displacement distance and material handling costs, namely 56.40 meters at the cost of 489.62 rupiah, in one transfer of raw material. The initial layout of the bakery factory had a displacement distance of 68 meters and a material handling cost of 590.28 rupiah in one transfer of raw material. For this reason, layout 13 becomes a proposed layout for use by a bread production facility. In addition, the layout of the bread production facilities and production time can also be more efficient than before.

Abstract

Every fresh graduate will need and find a job. However, it isn't easy to get a job, especially when workers are mostly done online. Thus, prospective workers need a variety of tools to assist them in their work, such as applications used for works. Therefore, this case aims to create a web-based information system to help their work. It is expected to improve the soft skills and productivity of workers. The results of the application recommendation information are obtained from the survey form in which all questions are related to the needs of the website users of the application. The information is then directly processed by the web system, and the output will get application recommendations along with usage information, info features, and platforms that can be used. The method used in this study includes the analysis phase starting from gathering information and making ideas, followed by making preliminary designs to making prototypes, testing, and evaluating implementation. Based on the testing results, the recommendation can help prospective workers increase knowledge about the right application to be used on the work to be done and prevent the use of less efficiency. This research concludes that with the help of recommendation, application services can help prevent workers from using applications that are less efficient for their work and increase soft skills and productivity.

Abstract

Information technology's role in various aspects of business activities nowadays focuses on using information systems to process financial transactions. With the help of information technology, business people can meet their information needs quickly, on time, relevant, and accurately. This study aims at determining the dimensions used in measuring the quality of information technology and the effectiveness of accounting information systems. Besides, it is also to determine the positive or negative impacts caused by changes in Information Technology on the efficacy of Accounting Information Systems. This research used an experimental method. The data collection is done by conducting a literature study and interviews with several informants who use accounting information systems to MSME business players in Bandung City. The results of this study indicate that the determination of the development of Information Technology has proven to have a positive effect on the effectiveness of the Accounting Information System. User satisfaction and system use are the dimensions most widely used to measure the effectiveness of information systems, and hardware, software, brainware, and communication networks are the dimensions most widely used by researchers to measure the quality of information technology

Abstract

This research aims to design an online store to attract consumers' attention because it can facilitate the buying and selling of products, transactions, and ordering of an item and increase people's interest in online shopping. The waterfall approach was the method used in this research. It is a linear methodology of software development, in which improvement is seen as continuing to trickle down through the stages of design, modeling, execution (construction), and testing as a waterfall. The results show that a quality product design can increase brand awareness and quality because consumers and potentially new consumers trust. In online marketing, it can trigger a business in any field in cyberspace. Therefore, website development is also important for business competition and promotes products from placing orders, seeing what items are sold, product names, prices, and product stock. The conclusions obtained in this study are the design of an attractive and quality online store design plays an important role in attracting buyers and increasing sales of a product. With the help of promoting products online, products can be sold worldwide and increase the seller's profits

Abstract

The research aims at building a system that can record data attendance and Telegram notification utilizes Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Telegram. The research method used the experimental method to check the success time to retrieve the data. The results show that with 60 cards, the system can retrieve data in 3 minutes, 33 seconds, or 213 seconds without stopping. The system can see student attendance recaps stored in the database and notify when students come to school via Telegram to the parents of the respective students and class teachers. Reading the cards is also quite beneficial, so it prevents queues in attendance and makes it easier for officers to recap attendance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the benefits of using the MYOB Accounting application for students majoring in accounting at Vocational High School Baleendah 3 Bandung, both for those who already have their own business or those who do not have their own business. This research method was descriptive qualitative using Google Form to 17 students majoring in accounting at Vocational High School Baleendah 3 Bandung. The results showed that students majoring in Accounting felt the benefits of using the MYOB Accounting application to run their business to make it easier for them to make financial reports. In conclusion, the use of the MYOB Accounting application can help low-income accounting students, especially to present financial reports quickly, precisely, and accurately for those who already have their own business. For those who do not have their own business, the use of MYOB has the benefit of knowing accounting software to support business while working in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how information communication technology can change the way of communication in the office. It makes it easier to provide information through groups that the office has created so that there is no need to face-to-face to provide information. Communication information technology can change the way to meet face-to-face meetings. It is advanced to being online, like using a laptop and cellphone. The method used in this study was a descriptive method with observation and interviews to obtain the required information. This research shows that the development of ICT can promote communication in the office because it can convey information more effectively and practically. To communicate with each other, they don't need to meet face to face because there is already a media that helps them make it easier. The conclusions obtained in this study are that information technology is very helpful for offices or companies to make it easier to convey information to office employees or office superiors very quickly and practically

Abstract

The lack of media for election socialization that provides more accessibility for the deaf makes it difficult for them to obtain information given verbally, either by the KPU (The General Elections Commission) or the success team of candidate pairs who will compete. This condition could affect them to unvote. This research aims to design an application with an easy-to-use interface and help deaf people get accurate and accessible news and information. The method used to fulfill application development needs was a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. This study used the Goal-Directed Design method to build an easy-to-use interface for deaf people. According to these applications, the deaf could easily understand election news information because videos are equipped with sign language and subtitles. These applications help the deaf quickly access and obtain the information about the election socialization that will hold and determine whom the candidates will compete in the election such as news feature, ask KPU, listen to reading, etc. The chatbot technology is expected to make the information search process more personal so that deaf people feel more comfortable using the application
