Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a tool to solve a problem where motorcyclists are often distracted by other motorcyclists' lights that go directly to the face/eyes so, that it can result in disruption of visibility at night which is not uncommon to cause accidents. The usual stabilizer consists of 2 servos that are used to move objects vertically and horizontally which are used to stabilize the movement of objects or to direct objects to the desired position such as an optical stabilizer on a cellphone camera or like a CCTV camera that can adjust the direction of the camera's view, stabilizer can also be applied to LED lights or flashlights that are used to direct the lights to the desired position, so if the tool is applied to motorcycle spotlights it can prevent the lights from pointing to the faces of other riders by adjusting the position of the spotlights. The method used in this research is an experimental research method where we will test this stabilizer in several road conditions such as inclines, derivatives, turns, and so on. After that we will compare the results of applying stabilizer technology to motorcycle lights and without using a stabilizer, whether using a stabilizer will reduce the impact of spotlights that directly hit the face/eyes which can interfere with vision or not. The results show that the application of a stabilizer on a motorcycle can reduce the impact of spotlights that directly hit the face/eyes. This is because the stabilizer can adjust the tilt angle of the lamp automatically so that the lamp lighting remains facing the road. So, it can be concluded that the stabilizer on the motorcycle lights can reduce the impact of spotlights that directly hit the face/eyes resulting in impaired vision of other motorists. This research is expected to create a useful tool for motorcyclists to prevent unwanted things from happening.

Abstract

The works of street artists' paintings tend to have minimal interest in Indonesia. This is caused by many factors, one of which is the limited scope of painting marketing. Therefore, the author seeks to provide a means of marketing in the form of an online painting auction application. The purpose of this research is to create an application as a means of connecting painting artists with painting enthusiasts. The research method used is descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. While in the development process, this application adopts the Hybrid Mobile Application method which has many advantages over the Native Android and IOS methods. The advantages of this hybrid method are in terms of coding effectiveness and efficiency of time and resources used. By applying this method, the application can be accessed from various circulating smartphone operating systems such as Android and IOS so that it can make it easier for the application to be accessed by potential users. The main concept of this application is to implement an auction system in the sale of paintings. This application also has several core features such as painting auctions, homepage, explore, bidding, payments and other supporting features that are expected to facilitate the painting auction transaction process. In the end, this application is intended for painting artists and painting lovers so that it can be easier to make transactions for buying and selling paintings online.

Abstract

Vaccines or immunizations aim for the human immune system to recognize and quickly fight bacteria or viruses that can cause infection. The purpose of developing this application is to optimize the role of the media as an educational platform and deliver information about vaccines to the public. The method used in the development of this application is Rapid Application Development (RAD). From this research, it is concluded that this application can have a positive impact on the community, such as the public can easily find out the vaccine schedule at the nearest health center, the existence of articles about vaccines that are following the facts can educate people who are still cloudy about the importance of vaccines. According to data, there are 1.76% of Bandung City residents have not vaccinated against Covid-19. In the end, this application was developed not only to convey information about the Covid-19 vaccine but also about other vaccines/immunizations. This application was developed to help the government program, namely the Healthy Indonesia Program.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see what is the important role of an information system on web-based bucket sales, which can benefit because it will be known by many people. That way the sales of buckets are getting more fans. We use qualitative methods to facilitate the process of analysing objects. The results of this study are that this system can facilitate sellers in marketing buckets so that sales can increase. The process of implementing an information system in selling buckets can be applied by creating a website. So, it can be concluded that information systems have an effect on website-based bucket sales, making it easier to order for buyers.

Abstract

Kerupuk Pangsit Adem Ayem is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in snacks. To meet the inventory, the company must make purchases of raw materials. Purchasing is a continuous activity for the company and is the main proposal in production. The design of an accounting information system for purchasing raw materials on Kerupuk Pangsit Adem Ayem can facilitate the process of purchasing raw materials via the web and can produce financial report information easily and quickly. The system design method used in this study used survey methods and descriptive methods. The data collected in conducting this study is in the form of qualitative data. The raw material purchase accounting information system can be used as a means of facilitating the determination of raw material purchases for production and financial reporting in the form of reports on cost of goods produced, so that the information produced is more precise and accurate.

Abstract

The successful adoption of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is crucial for organizations to enhance operational efficiency and gain a competitive edge. User participation has been recognized as a key factor in determining the success of ERP implementation. This study aims to investigate the impact of user participation on ERP adoption success in the context of Bangladesh. The specific objectives include assessing the relationship between user participation and work performance, understanding/proficiency, user-friendliness, and training/support. Additionally, the influence of organizational factors, such as organizational value, guidelines/procedures, and resource/support availability, on user participation is examined. The study also explores the impact of user participation on compatibility with existing organizational processes and alignment with strategic goals. The findings reveal that user participation significantly influences work performance, understanding/proficiency, user-friendliness, and training/support. Organizational factors and strategic alignment play important roles in facilitating user participation. The results emphasize the need to foster user participation, provide adequate training and support, promote organizational values, and align strategic goals for successful ERP adoption in Bangladesh. These insights contribute to a better understanding of the factors that drive ERP implementation success and provide guidance for organizations in Bangladesh and similar contexts.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an example or illustration of how to apply a simple accounting system, namely Microsoft Excel in a fashion business that has just been started and has not used an application or system to do the recording. This research used a literature study method. The results of this study are expected for business beginners, especially fashion businesses, to understand how recording and bookkeeping in accounting are created using a simple accounting application. By displaying steps on how to make general journals, ledgers, adjustment entries, profit, and loss in Microsoft Excel. Therefore, it can be concluded that how important it is to make recording and bookkeeping using a simple application system method so that it can be easily applied by fashion business people who have just entered the business field.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology is currently pushing the mass media industry, especially newspapers, to make adjustments. The development of this technology has changed human habits in accessing information from the mass media. One adjustment to the development of digital technology is through media convergence. If one wants to survive in the digital era, convergence is absolutely necessary. This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies undertaken by the management of the Pikiran Rakyat newspaper to maintain its existence in the digital era. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with the management of the Pikiran Rakyat newspaper, as well as a literature review of previous research on the same topic. The analysis results show that the Pikiran Rakyat newspaper applies the multimedia, multichannel, and multiplatform (3M) strategy. According to the management, implementing this strategy is the answer to the dynamic changes in people's perspectives on obtaining information. Hopefully, this research can serve as a reference for future media studies and information and communication technology researchers, and provide useful insights for the mass media industry as it adjusts to the current digital era.

Abstract

This study investigates the intricate dynamics of technology's influence on service quality perception and patient satisfaction in Bangladesh's healthcare sector, a vital component of emerging economies. Focusing on the interplay between technology, service quality, and patient satisfaction, the research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a structured questionnaire survey conducted both online and in-person among patients in private hospitals in Dhaka city. Statistical analyses, including correlation and regression, were applied to the gathered data. Key findings reveal significant correlations between service quality dimensions (responsiveness, assurance, communication, and discipline) and patient satisfaction. Notably, technology-related factors, specifically the use of tips, negatively impact satisfaction levels. Regression analysis identifies responsiveness, assurance, communication, and tips as significant predictors of patient satisfaction. Limitations, including the exclusive focus on Dhaka city's private hospitals, underscore the necessity for broader research across diverse healthcare settings to enhance generalizability. Practical implications recommend healthcare providers prioritize improving responsiveness, assurance, and communication, considering patient preferences on technology-related practices like tipping. From a societal perspective, the study emphasizes the broader importance of optimizing technology to elevate patient experiences, contributing to overall well-being. The research's originality lies in its nuanced examination of technology's influence on service quality and patient satisfaction within the distinctive context of Bangladeshi private hospitals. Acknowledging its limitations, this study encourages future research to explore technology's impact on service quality across various healthcare settings, providing valuable insights for ongoing improvements.

Abstract

A company that is reliable in providing its products or services never escapes the good quality of human resources. These qualities can generally be viewed from the development and maintenance of human resources within the company. In the research conducted at PT. The Eastern Pillar of Technology, the company hopes to maximize service to its employees so that they can focus on working and the level of employee satisfaction can increase. The service in question is oriented towards Human Resource Management, where so far, every bureaucratic, administrative, and recapitulation process related to human resources has not been fully recorded and optimally documented. For example, on its implementation, employees who want to apply for leave or permission will be faced with a long bureaucratic process. On the other hand, employees must also confirm to the Human Resource Management party whether they still have leave and permit allotments or not. This causes problems in some conditions, where the occurrence of employee indiscipline in applying for leave or permits. In addition to the application and attendance process that is still done manually, it causes inconsistencies or errors in the recap of employee data. That have a bad impact on the calculation of the payroll that will be carried out. Mobile-based Employee Self Service plays an important role in solving these problems because it can display accurate data and reports for each employee, both in terms of permits, leave, overtime, attendance or even payroll calculations. This research was conducted using a descriptive research method with a data collection method through interviews and observations on the object of study. For the system development method used, the author used the prototype development method with Unified Modelling Language modelling. While in prototype development, the author uses kotlin and MySQL programming languages for his database. The result is the construction of Employee Self Service with the aim of providing easier access for employees in utilizing the facilities provided by the company, as well as minimizing errors and omissions that may occur in the employee service process.
