Abstract

Work system analysis at PT. XYZ was conducted to evaluate impact of noise and lighting on employee performance. Proper lighting supports clear vision and prevents accidents, while excessive noise can disrupt concentration, communication, and potentially cause hearing loss. This study aims to assess whether the levels of noise and lighting meet the government’s Threshold Limit Values (TLVs) and to provide recommendations for improving the work environment. Measurements were taken using a sound level meter and a lux meter, then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that both noise and lighting significantly affect the comfort and performance of production operators. A suboptimal work environment can lead to fatigue and reduced work effectiveness. Therefore, improvements are recommended through proper noise and lighting adjustments or by using noise-reducing equipment such as soundproofing or personal protective equipment. These efforts are expected to enhance employee performance and ultimately boost overall company productivity.

Abstract

This study analyzes ShopeeFood’s digital expansion strategies from a consumer perspective, highlighting how digital services reshape consumption in the modern era. Using a descriptive qualitative method with semi-structured interviews, supported by secondary data, the study applies SWOT, IFAS, and EFAS analyses to evaluate internal and external factors. Findings show that ShopeeFood’s strategies—promotions, user-friendly features, and ShopeePay integration enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. SWOT and IE Matrix results place ShopeeFood in the Grow and Build quadrant, indicating strong growth potential amid threats like price competition and consumer shifts. The Strengths–Opportunities (SO) strategy—focusing on promotions, service innovation, MSME collaboration, and human resource development—is essential for competitiveness. Overall, adaptive and sustainable digital marketing strategies are crucial to sustaining customer loyalty and expanding market share in the food delivery industry

Abstract

This study aimed to resolve financial management challenges at Haji Iros Restaurant, which stemmed from an inefficient manual bookkeeping system causing discrepancies between predicted and actual income. The research goal was to design and implement an integrated financial management system using Microsoft Access to automate transactions, sales recording, and report generation. The methodology involved conducting surveys and interviews to identify specific problems, followed by the systematic design and development of a relational database system. Key components included tables for menu and transaction data, input forms, processing queries, and automated financial reports. The result demonstrated that the implemented system successfully reduced bookkeeping time and minimized calculation errors. The discussion highlights how the system’s integration ensures data consistency and provides real-time financial transparency. In conclusion, the Microsoft Access-based system effectively improves the accuracy and efficiency of financial management for the restaurant. The impact of this research is significant support of MS’E's digital transformation, leading to strengthened operational efficiency, enhanced financial control, and greater potential for economic growth, aligning with the national theme of strengthening small businesses.

Abstract

A garment business still manages its financial transactions and reporting manually, which often results in difficulties related to accuracy, data inconsistency, and delays in report generation. This research aims to design an accounting information system using PHP and MySQL to support structured, efficient, and accurate financial reporting. The method used in this study is the waterfall development model, which includes stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The resulting system is web-based and allows users to record transactions, manage inventory and vendor data, post to journals and ledgers, generate trial balances, and produce financial position reports in accordance with SAK EMKM. The system also provides a cost of goods sold (COGS) calculation feature. Based on implementation and evaluation, the system significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of financial data processing at Khomsah Kholifah and helps the business owner in decision-making by providing structured, real-time financial information

Abstract

In today's digital age, cooperatives face various operational challenges stemming from limited resources, both financial and non-financial. This situation necessitates strategic innovation, one of which is through the integration of information technology into cooperative operational systems. This study aims to analyze how the application of information technology can support efficiency, transparency, and competitiveness at the Bandung Utara Cattle Farmers Cooperative (KPSBU) Lembang, one of the established cooperatives in West Java. The research method employs a qualitative approach in the form of a case study, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that KPSBU Lembang has been implementing information technology since 2008, including digital systems for financial record-keeping, membership management, product distribution, and a GPS-based livestock census application. The use of these systems has proven to enhance work efficiency, data accuracy, and communication ease among members and management. However, the main challenges faced include limited digital literacy among older members and technical barriers such as poor internet signal in remote areas. KPSBU has responded to these challenges by providing regular training and manual solutions as alternatives. This study concludes that the integration of information technology has a positive impact on cooperative performance, with the caveat that infrastructure and human resource empowerment strategies need to be strengthened.

Abstract

Advances in mobile technology have driven the development of various applications that enhance efficiency in information processing. This study discusses the development of a mobile-based document summarization application that utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to extract text from physical documents and images. As opposed to other summarization software that uses OCR, this tool has a lighter design tailored for mobile users such that it becomes viable for students and professionals who desire instant summaries readily available. The application process of the software entails taking a snap of the document, extracting text through an OCR process, and generating summaries using an NLP-based Application Programming Interface (API). Evaluation results indicate that the application registered an average extraction accuracy of 95% for text and provided short and contextually correct summaries. Such results indicate the novelty and efficacy of the proposed approach in improving mobile information management productivity and efficiency

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has led educational institutions to implement digital systems, including in financial management. SMK ICB Cinta Niaga Bandung faces challenges in revenue recording, which is still done manually, leading to delays, data errors, and audit difficulties. This study aims to design a web-based accounting information system to address these issues. A descriptive qualitative method with the Waterfall model is used. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was designed using flowcharts, DFDs, ERDs, and user interface design, and developed using PHP and MySQL. Testing results show improved efficiency, reduced recording errors, and structured real-time financial reports. This system is expected to improve transparency and accountability in the school’s financial management. In addition, the system provides several important features, such as multi-user access, secure login, automated financial report generation, and cloud-based data storage. These features allow different stakeholders to access accurate financial information in real-time without the risk of data duplication or loss. The system also facilitates easier monitoring of transactions and ensures that reports can be generated more quickly during audits. Furthermore, the use of digital receipts increases the credibility of financial documentation, reducing the chance of fraud or misreporting. Also included are a number of key functions provided by the system, including multi-user access and authentication (smart login), automatic generation of financial reports and cloud data storage. The features provide a means for different stakeholders to obtain real-time, relevant financial information without the risk of data duplication or loss. The system facilitates the monitoring of transactions and enables faster reporting during audits. Additionally, digital receipts provide a more reliable means of verifying financial information and minimize the risk of fraudulent or inaccurate reporting. Overall, this study contributes to improving financial management practices in vocational schools, particularly those that manage financial flows intricately. The application of information technology not only enhances accuracy and efficiency but also promotes good governance in educational institutions. Hopefully other schools will adopt comparable systems to improve financial responsibility, and perhaps even promote decision-making at different levels of management.

Abstract

In the context of strong digital transformation in all fields in Vietnam, especially the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in all fields, including the logistics and supply chain industry in Vietnam. This study examines the main objective of synthesizing theories to evaluate the impacts of AI in the field of logistics and supply chain management. The research results show that the implementation of AI can bring significant benefits to businesses in key functions such as: demand forecasting, transportation optimization, inventory management, order monitoring and tracking, warehouse automation and risk analysis. With a systematic literature review method, through the synthesis of reputable domestic and foreign studies and reports to analyze the potential application of AI in the logistics and supply chain industry. At the same time, the article discusses the challenges and recommendations to promote digital transformation in the logistics field effectively and sustainably. Thereby, the article presents the benefits achieved and the challenges to overcome, and evaluates the development potential in Vietnam and in the world.

Abstract

Databases play a crucial role in accelerating information system processes, enabling organizations to access and manage data efficiently. An integrated information system is essential for supporting operations, achieving goals, and handling large data volumes in a user-friendly manner. This study aims to replace manual service processes with computerized systems by developing a database for Mom’s Laundry to enhance service quality. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research involved observing customer needs, conducting company surveys, identifying problems, and performing analysis. Microsoft Access was used to design the laundry’s transaction system. The study resulted in creating an automated transaction system to replace the manual process. Thus, the implementation of this database system is expected to improve efficiency, provide convenience, and deliver excellent service to customers.

Abstract

Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is one of major food crops with high economic value in Indonesia. But, the productivity of cardamom is generally constrained due to the attack of pests and diseases which results in quantitative as well as qualitative losses. Often, farmers are not able to quickly and accurately diagnose pests or diseases, thereby delaying control measures. The objective of this study is to create an Android application for the identification and classification of pests and diseases in potatoes, based on Teachable Machine's capabilities. The mobile phone-based application records the leaf images of potato by using a smartphone camera and processes them with a classification model, returning detection results and providing the control strategy. Their development lifecycle follows the Waterfall model, which includes communication, planning, design, construction and implementation stages. Experiments were conducted to compare the detection rate, response time, and ease of use. The results show that the application can recognize several types of pests and diseases with satisfactory accuracy and responsiveness, providing a practical tool for farmers to perform early detection and apply appropriate control measures
