Abstract

Abstract: Social media twitter is seen as a form of transformation of the social movement strategy undertaken by the community to fight and prevent the corona virus that has now entered Indonesian territory. In this case the public through social media twitter spread about health issues and how to prevent the corona virus in Indonesia. Public efforts to carry out social movements are jointly conducting education through the hashtag on Twitter, because as there are many consumptive behaviors in the use of social media, Twitter is one of the ways that is considered fast in conveying a condition or event related to the current corona outbreak has spread to various countries. In this study using descriptive qualitative methods and analyzed using the theory of social movements from Anthony Giddens. It can be concluded that the use of social media Twitter is a form of community efforts to fight against the corona virus through the use of hashtag (#) on Twitter, which has succeeded in moving the community towards efforts to prevent corona virus outbreaks in a short time. Keywords: Social Movement, Twitter Social Media, Corona Virus

Abstract

Abstract: Religion and culture are two things that are always interesting to observe. It is difficult to imagine religion without culture or vice versa, culture without religion. In human history, religion and culture work hand in hand to preserve society with various legal arrangements. In Islam contains a number of teachings that are not limited to aspects of civilization. One example is the Muhammad Cheng Hoo mosque in Sempusari Jember, whose architecture is combined with Chinese, Javanese and Arabic culture. The Chinese identity was reborn after a post-reformation that was lost for decades. This study aims to describe the architectural meaning in the Cheng Hoo mosque in Sempusari Jember. To get the desired results, this research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach, based on observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, to find out the existing cultural values, the writer uses the theory of cultural semiotics by Sander Pierce. The findings obtained from this study are a study of the meaning of cultural semiotics in the Cheng Hoo mosque architecture in Sempusari Jember including (a) the colors used. (b) An octagonal shape located in the middle of the Cheng Hoo Mosque. (c) Tower consisting of 5 flats. (d) the meaning of the lantern. (e) The shape on the walls of the mosque on the part of the imam and pulpit. (f) Flower motif. (g) the writing on the door of the mosque in Roman kanji style.

Abstract

Abstract: The various backgrounds of  mad'u have made the method used by each da'i different in conveying his da'wah. One of them is the da'wah method carried out by KH Anwar Zahid. The purpose of this study was to determine the method of preaching KH. Anwar Zahid who is very humorous from the perspective of hadith. The research method is descriptive qualitative and library research. While the data analysis is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the da'wah method of KH Anwar Zahid from the perspective of hadith has relevance, including the da'wah method of wisdom contained in the hadith narrated by Bukhari Number 1800, which he applied in one of his lecture quotes about how to respond to the world wisely and wisely. The method of da'wah mauidzoh hasanah is contained in the hadith of Ahmad Number 21185, which he applied in one of his lecture quotes about happiness. The method of da'wah mujdalam hasanah is contained in the Tirmidhi hadith Number 1582, which he applied in one of his lecture quotes about the houses of the believers. And KH Anwar Zahid's preaching of humor is found in the hadiths of Thabrani and Baihaqi, which he applied in one of his lecture quotes about the mad'u he was dealing with at that time. Keywords: Da’wah Method, K.H Anwar Zahid, Hadith

Abstract

Abstract: In this modern era, the existence of the use of social media has a significant influence on people's daily lives, especially Generation Z. This paper aims to determine the extent of the role of the Tiktok application as one of the platforms favored by Generation Z on the spread of values. Islamic valuesthrough the creator of the da'wah Husain Basyaiban. This research is included in the type of library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data was obtained through direct observation on the TikTok account @Basyasman00 as well as documentation on uploaded posts to see the activities of netizens including the number of followers, likes, comments, shares and video views. Furthermore, the data collected was analyzed using a content analysis approach (content analysis). The results show that da'wah through the TikTok application is quite effective in reaching generation Z. The TikTok application is a surefire way to spread Islamic values today, especially for generation Z because of the great interest in knowledge about religion which is presented in a unique, interesting, and interesting way. and contemporary. Abstract: Globalization is currently growing rapidly and has an impact on the sharp competition between educational institutions. One of them is MAN 3 Magetan. MAN 3 Magetan is one of the best aliyah madrasas in Magetan. Evidenced by the many achievements achieved by students and madrasas. MAN 3 Magetan is a madrasa that is increasingly visionary in responding to today's competition. This is considered in the face of sharp competition by paying attention to the positive image of the community to maintain its existence. Therefore the need for public relations management to improve the quality of education, satisfy users and get a good image from the community. This study aims to determine the management of public relations (public relations) at MAN 3 Magetan in building the school's image, to determine the capacity building carried out by public relations at MAN 3 Magetan, and to determine the forms of promotion and cooperation in public relations at MAN 3 Magetan. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. The data analysis used is Miles & Huberman interactive data analysis, which includes: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed: the stages of public relations management in building an image at MAN 3 Magetan went through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Capacity building carried out by public relations at MAN 3 Magetan is by following the times, namely the holding of skills programs including batik, multimedia, graphic design, light vehicle engineering, fashion, catering, and the existence of a superior program, namely the tahfidz quran. The forms of promotion and collaboration carried out by public relations at MAN 3 Magetan are holding outreach to schools or other institutions, using social media, holding milad, commemorating Islamic holidays (PHBI) and social services. Keywords: Management, Public Relations, Image of Educational Institutions

Abstract

Abstract: Communication is an important element in the life of society. In everyday, people communicate verbally using language or words, but not all humans are able to interact using only verbal communication. Humans who are less than perfect, such as people with mental disability, find it difficult to receive messages using only language. Mental disability is a mental and intellectual disability disorder below average. As in Karangpatihan Village, Balong District, Ponorogo Regency, where 98 residents are mentally disabled. The village head has an important role in the welfare of its citizens so that the use of signs, symbols and even simple facial expressions can help mentally disabled people more easily understand the ongoing communication. This research was conducted with a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique using Nonverbal Communication Theory according to Paul Ekman. The results of this study are first, the Village Head uses various signs/symbols when communicating with mentally disabled. Namely body language which includes eye gaze, facial expressions, hand gestures and movements, head movements, body posture and foot position, touch and paralanguage. Second, mental disability provides reciprocal responses in the form of nonverbal communication, namely, facial expressions, eye gaze, hand gestures and gestures and paralanguage. The gestures used are self-initiated without referring to sign language books in general.Keywords: Nonverbal Communication, Mental Disability, Paul Ekman's Theory.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research is to determine the moral message and to find out the meaning of denotation, connotation, and to find out the myth of L.A. Cigarette advertising. The data collection technique used a semiotic analysis research method from Roland Barthes. The results of the analysis of the data found indicate that the moral message contained in this study reflects the life of a person, both from the lower middle class or the upper middle class, must be able to face problems and not leave problems and not leave problems but solve problems so that they will be resolved soon. The meaning of denotations, connotations, and myths in this study is that each individual must have an attitude of solidarity, responsibility, reciprocal forgiveness, be oneself, regret actions when making mistakes, dare to take risks, and be confident.Keywords: Moral Message, Advertising, LA Lights
