Abstract

The aim of this activity is to find out the resolution of juvenile crimes using a restorative justice approach according to Law Number 1 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. Preparation for activities starts from determining the location to identifying legal problems in the community and then preparing outreach materials. The activity was carried out using a lecture method to the participants which was then followed by questions and answers. The activity was carried out by a community service team from the university involving students. The results of the activity were that the principles of restorative justice in the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (UU Number 11 of 2012) were strictly regulated. One form of restorative is diversion. For children who have problems with the law, the nature of punishment with criminal sanctions is as an Ultimum Remedium or as a last resort. The main means are the principles of restorative justice and/or diversion, where for children as perpetrators of criminal acts, the resolution process is carried out using restorative/diversion both within the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (Children's SPP) and outside of the Juvenile SPP. The restorative/diversion process in Children's SPP can be carried out at the investigation, prosecution, or trial stages in court provided that there must be a voluntary agreement between the victim, the perpetrator, the victim's/perpetrator's family and related parties, with the aim of jointly finding a solution that is acceptable. fair by emphasizing restoration to the original state, and not retaliation. Meanwhile, outside the Children's SPP, restorative/diversion can be carried out at any time with the same conditions as the settlement in the Children's SPP. The settlement process using the principles of restorative justice is actually the same as resolving customary crimes.

Abstract

Indonesia has an incredibly high level of biodiversity, which makes it rich in various potentially medicinal plants. One of these is the family medicinal plant (Sari and Andjasmara, 2023). TOGA is a homegrown cultivated plant known for its herbal medicinal properties. Herbal medicine is derived from plants and processed or extracted in such a way that it becomes a powder, pill, or liquid without the use of chemicals. As it is commonly known, herbal medicines can treat diseases with minimal side effects because they are made from natural ingredients (Wulandari et al., 2017). The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance the understanding and skills of the community in utilizing plants found in the yards of the local households in the Pohara village, Sampara Subdistrict, Konawe District. These plants can be used in the production of herbal products such as herbal drinks and mosquito repellent sprays. This community service involved 31 community leaders and local residents. The method employed for community service was active participation, starting with socialization, herbal product preparation, and focused discussion sessions with community interaction. As a result of the community activities in the Pohara village, there was an improvement in skills, increased knowledge about herbal preparations, and an enhanced understanding of how to produce herbal products that are of good quality, hygienic, and safe for consumption.

Abstract

The manufacture and application of compost fertilizer and POP technology (organic fertilizer plus) was carried out in the community in Alebo Village and/or Masagena, Konda District, South Konawe Regency, both for non-productive communities and owners of livestock waste processing. Alebo and Masagena villages are vegetable and annual crop farming areas, which are cultivated throughout the year and generally depend heavily on chemical fertilizers. Therefore, POP and/or compost technology is needed to improve the quality of soil nutrients and increase the production of healthy plants. In the villages of Alebo and Masagena there are abundant reservoirs for livestock waste and rice husks but they have not been processed optimally, but are only sold in the form of rice husks and raw cow husks at relatively cheap prices so that they do not provide added value for the village community, so this community service activity was done to improve environmental conditions which had been polluted due to the use of chemical fertilizers, and can also increase the income of local communities by utilizing existing waste to make organic fertilizer (compost and POP). Organic fertilizer has a higher price than livestock waste and unprocessed rice husks. The solution implemented in this service activity was the application of technology to change the use of chemical fertilizers by using POP technology and compost fertilizer so that farming land is even more productive.

Abstract

The outreach activity aims to ensure that the public understands the urgency and process of land registration so that it can raise public legal awareness in registering their land, especially through the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program. Preparation for socialization activities is carried out starting from determining the location to identifying legal problems in the community, then preparing socialization materials. The activity was carried out using the method of delivering socialization material to participants which was then followed by questions and answers. The activity was carried out by the community service team from the university involving students. The results of the activity were that one of the things that reduced people's interest in certifying their land was the registration procedure which felt complicated and land registration fees which were felt to be still expensive, especially if registration was carried out sporadically. The PTSL program is considered to really help the community to be able to certify their land because the government plays an active role in carrying out data collection activities on community land that has not been certified so that mass land registration can then be carried out in a village/sub-district area and the government, especially the regional government, can also help in financing the certificate processing.
