Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the best incubation duration of green lamtoro fertilizer for the growth and yields of eggplant “gelatik” on alluvial soils. The study was conducted at Permata Hijau Complex, Jalan A. Yani 2, Pontianak, by June 29 to November 11 2018. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments, 4 samples and 4 replications. The treatments were set as p1 i.e lamtoro leaves without incubation, p2 1 week incubation of lamtoro leaves, p3 2 weeks incubation of lamtoro leaves, p4 3 weeks incubation of lamtoro leaves and p5 4 weeks incubation of lamtoro leaves. Observed variables were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root volume, dry weight of plants, number of fruits per plant, and weight of fruits per plant. The results showed that the effect of incubation duration of green lamtoro leaves fertilizer had a significant effect on all observed variables. As a conclusion, the application of green lamtoro leaves fertilizer incubated for 3 weeks noted as the best growth and yield of eggplant “gelatik” on alluvial soil.Keywords: alluvial, lamtoro leaf, eggplant, green fertilizer.

Abstract

The cultivation of cayenne pepper in alluvial soil has some problems, one of them is the solid structure of the soil. Poultry manure can be used as an alternative to soil structure, while mulch to reduce nutrient leaching from rain splashes. This study aims to find out the interaction of poultry manure and mulch on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper plants on alluvial soil. This research was conducted in Tengguli village land, Sajad District, Sambas Regency from 18th February to 15th May 2019. This study used a split plot design, is silver plastic mulch (m0= without mulch and m1= mulch) as main plot and poultry manure (a1= 5 ton/ha, a2= 10 ton/ha, a3= 15 ton/ha) as sub plot. Observation variables were plant height, dry weight of the plants, root volume, number of plant fruit, weight of plant fruit, weight of fruit, number of plot fruit, and weight of plot fruit. The result shows that the interaction poultry manure 15 to/ha  and mulch provide  the highest of growth and cayenne pepper plant results on alluvial soil. Keyword: Mulch, Poultry Manure, Alluvial Soil, Cayenne Pepper Plants.

Abstract

The use of a single herbicide often cannot control all types of weeds. Increase the effects of weed control. This study aims to study the effectiveness of glyphosate and methyl metsulfuron herbicides to control the Ischaemum timorense weed and determine the nature of the mixture. This research was conducted from January to April 2019, for ± 4 months in the greenhouse and Pesticide Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. The research was arranged in random groups. The treatment consisted of 4 types of herbicides with five dose levels and 1 control, namely glyphosate (0, 0.188, 0.375, 0.750, 1.5, 3.0) l / ha, methyl metsulfuron (0, 10, 20, 40, 80, 160) g / ha, herbicide mixture A 240/10 SL (0, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00 2.00, 4.00) l / ha and mixed herbicide B 360/10 SL (0, 0 , 25, 0.50, 1.00, 2.00, 4.00) l / ha. The target weed is Ischaemum timorense, a grass weed which is planted in a 14 cm diameter pot and a target of 3 MST (Three weeks after planting a herbicide test is applied). The variables observed are the level of weed damage that was assessed through phytotoxicity scoring and weed dry weights and analysis of herbicide mixture properties. The results showed that the higher the dose of the herbicide that was given, the more effective the suppressor was in controlling weeds. Herbicides that have been able to restore weed growth include glyphosate (G3) at a dose of 0.750 l / ha, Methyl metsulfuron (M5) at a dose of 160 g / ha, A mixture of 240/10 SL (CG3) at a dose of 1.0 l / ha , Mixture B 360/10 SL (CB3) at a dose of 1.0 l / ha. A mixed herbicide A 240/10 SL with an LD50 value of 93.2 and a mixture of B 360/10 SL is 186.92 smaller than the LD50 value of a single glyphosate herbicide 186.83 and methyl metsulfuron 27.98. The index value of combination herbicide mixture A 240/10 SL is 1.0384 and herbicide mixture B 360/10 SL is 1.0262, thus the nature of the herbicide is not antagonistic.Keywords: Glyphosate, Methyl metsulfuron, LD50, Herbicide mixture.

Abstract

ABSTRAK          Kemiringan lereng untuk perkebunan kelapa sawit berpengaruh terhadap sifat sifat tanah terutama sifat fisika tanah. Hal yang mempengaruhi kemiringan lereng yaitu curah hujan. Semakin tinggi curah hujan, maka semakin laju aliran air yang mengakibatkan tanah mudah terkikis dan terangkut. Akibat dari hal tersebut, maka kondisi tanah akan terganggu ataupun menjadi rusak juga berdampak pada hilangnya unsur hara sebagai sumber makanan untuk kelapa sawit akibat dari lajunya limpasan air sehingga menyebabkan terangkutnya maupun tercucinya tanah lapisan atas atau bahan organik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sifat fisika tanah pada beberapa kemiringan lahan pada Kebun Percobaan Untan serta mempelajari korelasi antara kelas kemiringan lahan dengan sifat fisika dan kimia tanah. Kriteria kelas lereng pada titik A tergolong .datar (0-2%) sampai agak landai (3-7%), sedangkan pada titik B dan C bertutut-turut tergolong dalam kriteria landai (8-13%) dan agak curam (14-20%). Tektur pada lokasi penelitian menunjukkan dominan terhadap liat berdebu. Bobot isi pada kedalaman 0-30 cm dan 30-60 cm memiliki korelasi positif dengan kemiringan lahan. Kadar air kapasitas lapangan pada dua kedalaman memiliki korelasi negatif terhadap kemiringan lahan. Kemantapan agregat pada kedalaman 0-30 cm memiliki korelasi yang negatif dan 30-60 cm memiliki korelasi positif. Porositas tanah pada kedalaman 0-30 cm memiliki korelasi yang negatif dan 30-60 cm memiliki korelasi positif. Tanah pada kedua kedalaman memiliki kriteria permeabilitas yang kurang baik dan korelasi yang posotif. Sedangkan pH memiliki korelasi positif terhadap kemiringan lahan pada kedua kedalaman. N-total memiliki korelasi negative pada kedua kedalaman. C-organik memiliki korelasi yang negative pada kedua kedalaman. C/N rasio memiliki korelasi yang negatif pada kedalaman 0-30 cm dan korelasi positif pada kedalaman 30-60 cm. Kata Kunci : Kemiringan Lahan, Korelasi, Sifat Fisika Tanah, Perkebunan                             Kelapa Sawit,

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the addition of papaya juice as a sugar substitute for the physicochemical chemistry of cow's milk kefir. The study was conducted at the Laboratory of Animal Husbandry at the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University in Pontianak, the Laboratory of Agricultural Product Technology at the Faculty of Agriculture at Tanjungpura University, Pontianak and the Pontianak State Polytechnic Fisheries Laboratory. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications each treatment was P0 = Control (without adding papaya juice), P1 = Adding papaya juice 2% of cow's milk kefir, P2 = Adding juice papaya fruit 4% from cow milk kefir, P3 = addition of papaya fruit juice 6% from cow milk kefir and P4 = addition of papaya fruit juice 8%. The parameters observed were pH, total acid, ethanol content and viscosity. The average pH, total acid, ethanol content and the highest viscosity are: 3.99, 4.79, 2.04 and 2963.36, which are found in different treatments. The conclusion of this study is that the addition of papaya juice can improve the quality of cow's milk kefir. Keywords: Cow's milk, Kefir and Papaya seeds.

Abstract

This study aim to determined knowing response of paprika plants to the combination manure fertilizer and NPK at alluvial soil. This study held on march, 03 2019 until may, 19 2019 at experimental garden Agriculture’s Faculty of Tanjungpura University. This study used Randomized Completely Design (RCD) with single factor that consist of 6 treatments with 4 replication and 4 samples. The treatments are, A= 1,75 g NPK without manure fertilizer, B= manure fertilizer 50 g + NPK 1,5 g, C= manure fertilizer 100 g + NPK 1,25g, D= manure fertilizer 150 g + NPK 1,25 g, E= manure fertilizer 200 g + NPK 1 g, F= manure fertilizer 250 g without NPK. Observing variable on this study are height of plant, wet weight of plant, dried weight of plant, volume of root plant, weight of fruit, fruit weight of plant, and number of plant. According to the result of this study, the conclusion is combination between manure fertilizer and NPK gave good response to the height of plant and the best dosis cannot found at combination of manure fertilizer and NPK to the paprika’s growth and yield. Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the dose of oil palm bunch ash and NPK fertilizer which gives the best growth and yield of sweet maize plants in alluvial soil and to know the interaction between both. This research was conducted in  Desa Kuala, Kecamatan Mega Timur Kabupaten Kubu Raya. This research was conducted from November 1st 2018 to Februari 1st 2019. The design used in this study was a factorial design with a Randomized Block Design (RBD) pattern. The treatment consisted of 2 factors, that is the distribution of oil palm bunch ashes (a) consisting of 2 levels of treatment and NPK fertilizer (k) consisting of 3 levels of treatment. Each treatment was repeated 5 times, so that there were 30 plots with 2 m x 1 m plot area. The treatment in question consists of the treatment of oil palm bunch ash that is a1 = palm bunch ash 2 tons / ha, a2 = palm bunch ash 4 tons / ha and NPK fertilizer treatment that is k1 = NPK fertilizer 400 kg / ha, k2 = 500 kg NPK fertilizer / ha and k3 = 600 kg / ha NPK fertilizer. The results of this study indicate that the treatment of oil palm bunch ash significantly influences the length of cob without cornhusk, while the NPK fertilizer treatment significantly influences plant height of 6 MST, root volume, plan dry weight, cob cornhusk weight, cob without cornhusk weight and diameter of cob without cornhusk. The interaction of the two treatments did not significantly affect all observed variables. The combination of oil palm bunch ash with a dose of 2 tons / ha and NPK fertilizer of 600 kg / ha save the highest mean of growth and yield of sweet maize plants in alluvial soils. Keywords : Oil palm bunch ash, alluvial land, sweet maize, NPK fertilizer

Abstract

An onion plant is the commodity that must be expanded, intensively in West Borneo, one of the suitable soils be used for planting this plant is alluvial soil. This research is aim to know the best dose of Bio urine on growth and the onion plant yield on alluvial soil. The sample of this research is Completely Randomise Design (RCD). b1 treatment control, b2 treatment: Bio urine 50 ml + 950 ml water = 1 L, b3 treatment: Bio urine 100 ml + 900 ml water = 1 L, b4 treatment: Bio urine 150 ml + 850 ml water = 1 L, b5 treatment: Bio urine 200 ml + 800 ml water = 1 L, b6 treatment: Bio urine 250 ml + 750 ml water = 1 L. So that can be achieved 6 treatments, 4 repetitions and 3 observation samples. There are some of observation variable on this research are the plant stature(cm), leaves(sheet), sprouts,  tubers per clump(tubers), root, volumes(ml)and dried weigh tubers(g). The result of this research show that the bio urine treatment evidently influenced on plant stature 2 weeks after planted, abstract influent on all observation variables.Keywords :Onion, Bio urine, Alluvial Soil

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the combination of NPK and fertilizar duck manure on the growth and yield of sorghum in peat soil. The research was conducted at sepakat II street, Mapar aley, South east Pontianak sub-district. Starting from December until march, 2019. The study design (CRD) used a completely randomized design with 6 treatments which were repeated 4 times. The treatment is as follows: A = 100% NPK fertilizer is equivalent 400 kg/ha, B = 80% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 320 kg/ha +20% duck manure equivalent to tons/ha, C = 60% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 240 kg/ha +40% duck manure equivalent to 6 ton/ha, D = 40% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 160 kg/ha +60% duck manure equivalent to 9 tons/ha, E = 20% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 80 kg/ha + 80% duck manure equivalent to 12 tons/ha, F = 100% duck manure equivalent to 15 tons/ha. The variables that observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root volume, weight of plant dry, weight of 1,000 seeds, seed weight per panicle. The results showed that the distributing of a combination of NPK fertilizer and duck manure to the growth and yield of sorghum in peat soil had increased root volume and plant height aged 3,5 MST. In general the combination of NPK and fertilizar duck manure influence the growth and yield of sorghum in peat soil. Keywords: duck manure, NPK, peat and sorghum.

Abstract

The durian peel can be used as bokashi material. This study aims to find the best dosage of durian peel bokashi on the growth and yield of red okra plants in alluvial soil. The study was conducted at Experiment Garden of Agriculture Faculty , Tanjungpura University. The research was started from May 20 to August 2, 2019. This study was used CRD (Completaly Randomized Design) method with 5 treatments, 5 replications and each treatments consists of 4 samples, there were 100 experiment units. The observed data were analyzed statistically by using Analysis of Variant (ANOVA), then continued by honestly significance diffirence (HSD) at 5% level. The result of this study showed that the durian peel bokashi with 270 g/polybag dosage could increased plant height at 5 WAP (Weeks after planting), number of fruit per plant and fruit weight per plant.Keywords: Durian peel bokashi, dosage, red okra, alluvial soil
