Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the connection between parental motivation and academic accomplishment. The research technique employed is a quantitative correlation method. strategies for gathering data include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The t test and product moment correlation test are both used in the analysis technique. The results demonstrated that parental motivation had an impact on students' learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 3 Tana Toraja in geography as indicated by tcount = 31,854 > ttable 2,015, and the determinant coefficient was 85%, meaning that parental motivational variables accounted for 85% of the variance in students' learning outcomes and that the remaining 15% was influenced by other factors. Parental motivation is a strong predictor of student learning results. Parents' behavior is adequate to inspire youngsters to engage in learning activities

Abstract

The cultivation of coffee plants is closely related to many problems. These challenges are discussed from non-physical and physical aspects in this study, including farmer expertise, land area, capital, and income, as well as physical characteristics based on climate, soil conditions, and terrain. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data was obtained by interviewing informants, taking notes, and collecting secondary information on topography, rainfall, soil type, temperature, and altitude. The findings show that physical and non-physical factors, as well as skills, land area, capital, and income, have a significant impact on coffee growth. These physical elements include topography, soil, and climate. Farmer productivity is affected by the small size of the cultivated land.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying numbered head together on student learning outcomes in Geography subjects. The study used a pseudo-experimental method of nonequeivalent control group design with pretest posttest control group design totaling 15 experimental class students and 15 control class people. The results showed that there was a difference in the average pretest learning outcomes with the posttest of North Halmahera geography subjects taught using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model with a mean value of -9,467 and a t value of -5,152. Learning activities using the NHT learning model, have an influence on learning activities shown from student learning activities in class and improvement of student learning outcomes in geography subjects in class XI SMA N 5 North Halmahera.

The research method uses descriptive and quantitative analysis. The research was conducted in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in the form of tabulations, percentages, and conclusions. The results of the study show that the learning process using the inquiry learning model, observing activities by students in an environment close to their own lives, can effectively improve learning outcomes. The standard for measuring learning success is if the learning group has 80% of students with a mastery achievement score of 70. There are 26 students, or 92.8%, who get an achievement score of 70, and there are 2 students, or 7.1%, who are classified as having a learning achievement score of 70.

Abstract

Vegetation is a group of plants, or all plant species found in a given area, with distinct patterns of temporal and spatial distribution. The presence of plants in a certain area helps to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. This study aims to determine the level of vegetation density in Jambudipa Village, Cisarua District, Bandung Regency in 2019 and 2022 using the Resistant Vegetation and Atmospheric Index (MSARVI) method. In 2019 there is still a lot of vegetation, but in 2022 the density will decrease. The amount of vegetation decreases due to several factors, such as the construction of settlements and public facilities such as urban developments and public services, which contribute to the decline in vegetation.

Abstract

Foreseeing future patterns of change and preventing or mitigating their negative impacts, it is important to understand how land cover changes. This study aims to examine changes in land cover in West Maluku Regency. To determine changes in land cover, the data used are Landsat 4-5 TM, Landsat 8 OLI, and SPOT 7 satellite images analyzed using SNI 7645:2010. The analysis includes pre-processing and land cover classification. Based on the research results, the three main MBD areas for built-up land are Moa Lakor District, Pulau Letti District, and Pulau Terselatan District. Due to Tiakur's status as the administrative center of Southwest Maluku Regency, Thakur District is the fastest-growing land development location.
