<![CDATA[Management Study Program is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Economics, The University of Dehasen Bengkulu. Every academic year, students who have fulfilled the credits or are in semester 6 or 7, submit a file for submission of titles to the staff of the study program, then the Head of Study Program will check related to the title submitted, if possible and in accordance with the disside of science, the title is issued will approved and the study program will appoint supervisor 1 and supervisor 2 from the student concerned. The application of the pattern for selecting students’ thesis titles at the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, The University of Dehasen Bengkulu was made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language and SQL Server 2008r2 database. In the application, the Levenstein Distance Algorithm has been applied to the new title submission form, where a comparison will be made against previously accepted titles that have been stored in the database. The title is accepted if the similarity level is below 50%, while the title is Rejected if the similarity level is above 50%. Based on the trial for submitting a new title, the application is able to provide information on whether the title is accepted or Rejected based on the Levenstein Distance Algorithm approach. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the functionalities of the application run as expected and the application is able to display the results of the analysis through the stages of the Levenstein Distance Algorithm for the submission of new titles.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to design and build a computer network connection at SMP Negeri 21 Central Bengkulu. This study used an experimental research method. In this study, was carried out the performance of a proxy running on the system. From the results of the analysis, conclusions will be obtained regarding the benefits and more detailed functions of Mikrotik and SMB servers in the data or file sharing function. The results of this study show that the internet network has been running in accordance with what the writer hopes and can access the internet, clients from this server can also access the internet. As well as sending files using SMB server that has been determined by the writer. The SMB server can be used to send files that are placed on the Mikrotik router, so that the files can be accessed by connected to clients. Therefore in this study the writer only built LAN network using Mikrotik and sharing data with SMB Servers only.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to build a LAN network infrastructure at SMPN 19 Bengkulu Tengah, implement a computer-based exam system using Moodle, optimize the use of computers at SMPN 19 Bengkulu Tengah, and implement a teaching and learning process by utilizing information technology. This research uses action research research methods. In the action research method, the researcher describes, interprets and explains a condition at the same time by conducting an intervention with the aim of improvement or participation. The results of this study indicate that the use of a computer-based test application on a LAN network that has been implemented at SMPN 19 Bengkulu is running well according to the results of service quality testing with a delay parameter of 6.47 ms, jitter of 1.64 ms, and packet loss of 0.998% and The server used in this study also has a fairly good performance which can be seen from the CPU usage by 20%, memory usage by 88%, and network usage of 1 kbps.]]>

<![CDATA[Employee performance appraisal aims to find employees with good performance qualities in accordance with the vision and mission of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The difficulty that occurs in conducting the employee performance appraisal process is the difficulty of selecting employees properly and fairly due to the diversity of educational backgrounds, experiences, competencies and portfolios in which it becomes a concern in determining outstanding employees. To overcome these obstacles, a decision support system for the MAUT method is needed to be used as an additional medium to support the decision-making process. The implementation of the system uses the Visual Basic 2010 programming language and the method used in this study is the Waterfall Method. From the results of the tests carried out, it can be concluded that employee performance appraisal by MAUT can be done well by ranking, where the highest value is 0.76 and the lowest value is 0.09 from the MAUT ranking process which can then be reported in the form of an employee performance report.]]>

<![CDATA[Data mining application for grouping community satisfaction is made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language. To classify community satisfaction, the application has applied the Decision Tree Method by looking at the results of the Gain and Entropy values in each branch. The branch consists of 7, namely service procedures, service information, completion time, officer competence, technological facilities, complaint handling, and integrity. With this application, it is hoped that it can help the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Bengkulu Province in analyzing and knowing community satisfaction with the services provided. Based on the results of the tests, the functionality of the data mining application is for classifying community satisfaction well as it should, and is able to provide information on the results of community satisfaction analysis through the decision tree approach]]>

<![CDATA[Employee performance appraisal is very important, especially for employees in the Bengkulu PDAM environment to encourage employee motivation and professionalism in improving work quality. Constraints faced in conducting performance appraisals are due to the diversity of educational backgrounds, experience, competencies and employee portfolios, so we need a system that can assist in the performance appraisal process, so that Employee Performance Assessment will not take time and get into trouble. In the process of designing a decision support system application for evaluating employee performance using the TOPSIS approach. The TOPSIS method (Technique For Order Performance By Similarity To Ideal Solution) is a multi-criteria decision-making method or alternative choice which is the alternative that has the smallest distance from the positive ideal solution and the largest distance from the negative ideal solution. The implementation of the system uses the Visual Studio 2010 programming language and the method used in this study is the waterfall method. From the results of the tests carried out, it can be concluded that this decision support system can provide the best employee decisions which can later be used as a reference to determine the quality of employee performance.]]>

<![CDATA[Information Systems are important because they produce information and help make decisions so that their intelligence and abilities can be the same as humans. the writer wants to design an Information System in the Correctional Institution which is a coaching institution for prisoners but the system used is still a Manual, especially for visiting Section where this system still has many obstacles, so the writer wants to research and assist officers by making a JAVA application about the information system for visiting prisoner in Prison class IIA of Bengkulu which aims to save time and find out information from guest visits to prisoners so that they consider to data collection. This information system is designed using a JAVA application with MySQL database in XAMPP, the application program used is Net Beans which is a container in making various programs where net beans IDE is also Open Source and this system uses a method that describes what data the existence and explanation of a picture or incident regarding guest visits to prisoners in Prison Class IIA of Bengkulu. The result of this research is an integrated information system with Prison Class IIA of Bengkulu, involving the Admin and Employees to input the data that has been obtained which will be processed by the system and produce a Prisoner Data Report and Guest Data Report.]]>

<![CDATA[Duta Ponsel is one of the largest stores in Bengkulu City that sells various kinds of smartphones and accessories according to the type of smartphone. Duta Ponsel has implemented information technology in its store business therefore it can facilitate data processing and sales of goods. However, the application is only limited to data management. In fact, these data can help support the sales strategy at Duta Ponsel. This comparison application of the Tsukamoto Method and the Sugeno Method can predict the number of requests for smartphone accessories by entering the amount of inventory and the number of sales. In this application, the processing time that occurs in Fuzzy Tsukamoto and Fuzzy Sugeno has been integrated, making it easier to see the comparison between the two methods. Comparative study of Tsukamoto Method and Sugeno Method in Determining Total Demand Based on Sales and Inventory at Duta Ponsel Sukamerindu seen from 2 (two) aspects of comparison, namely the final result of demand prediction and processing time. To assist the comparison process, an application was built using the Visual Basic .Net programming language with SQL Server 2008r2 database. <![CDATA[The Youth and Sports Office of Bengkulu City is a selection committee for Paskibraka candidates which is carried out every year. The assessment of post-baraka candidates consists of 8 aspects, namely Parade, PBB, Psychotest, Samapta/Physical, Health and Fitness, Interview, Regional Arts, and General Knowledge (data attached). The results of the assessment will be recapitulated to determine which participants succeeded in passing and which participants failed to pass, so that from this recapitulation it can be announced at the end of the selection activity. The analysis of the sensitivity test for the selection of paskibraka admissions using the TOPSIS method and the Promethee method at the Bengkulu City Youth and Sports Office was carried out by comparing the final results obtained from the two methods based on the assessment data of each paskribraka candidate. The analysis is done by looking at the number of criteria used, the processing time and also the ranking results. In helping the process of comparative analysis of the two methods, an application was built using the Visual Basic .Net programming language. where the application will show the results of the comparison of the TOPSIS and Promethee methods. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the results show that the application functionality can run well and is able to display the results of the assessment on each prospective paskibraka according to the stages of the TOPSIS and Promethee methods, in terms of processing time the TOPSIS method is faster than the Promethee method.]]>

<![CDATA[Gunung Megang Village is one of the villages located in Semidang Alas District, Seluma Regency. Every year the Village Head will record the population for data archiving and reporting, where the process has utilized a computerized system, namely by using office applications. However, the current population data collection only records the number of residents in Gunung Megang Village (data attached), so it cannot find out population information based on economic status. Economic status is the position of a person or family in society based on monthly income. However, the economic capacity of each community is different, some have a high economic status and some have a low one, this is seen in terms of income and expenditure. The application for determining the clustering of the economic status of the residents of Gunung Megang Village was made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language and SQL Server 2008 Database by applying one of the data mining methods used, K-Means. The grouping is based on data on the economic status of the residents of Gunung Megang Village (data attached) which is divided into 3 clusters, namely Cluster 1 (High), Cluster 2 (Medium) and Cluster 3 (Low). With this application, it is hoped that it can help the Gunung Megang Village Office in finding out information on the economic status of the population. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the functionality of the application for determining the clustering of the economic status of the residents of Gunung Megang Village is running as expected, and the application is able to provide information on the grouping of data on the economic status of the residents of Gunung Megang Village.]]>
