Abstract

Abstract Kenyamanan berkendaraan merupakan suatu kondisi yang diinginkan oleh setiap pengendara. Hal ini disebabkan adanya sistem suspensi yang mana terdiri dari spring dan bumper pada sistem tersebut. Agar kenyamanan tercapai, maka keseluruhan sistem dibuat stabil, yakni parameter-parameter sistem semestinya berkenaan atau bersesuaian. Untuk mendapatkan parameter-parameter yang sesuai, akan dilakukan dengan sistem kendali. Pada kesempatan ini metoda yang digunakan adalah metoda pole placement dan metoda linier quadratid optimal control. Metoda pole placement bertujuan untuk merubah pole sistem dari keadaan yang tidak begitu stabil menjadi lebih stabil, menggunakan rangkaian feedback dengan gain kontrol k, sedangkan metoda linier quadratid optimal control akan mencari harga k yang optimal dengan menggunakan persamaan matrik ricatti. Keseluruhan sistem ini akan merepresentasikan pada sistem suspensi kendaraan yang dilakukan secara simulasi menggunakan program matlab. Pemodelan sistem dilakukan dengan penurunan perhitungan fisika, dengan parameter model ditentukan. Untuk masukan sistem berupa sinyal step, yang akan merepresentasikan kondisi jalan, sedangkan keluaran sistem berupa defleksi suspensi dan defleksi ban mobil. Abstract

Model suatu system secara nyata merupakan keterpaduan unsur (elemen) linier maupun nonlinier, serta banyak faktor lagi yang akan mempengaruhi linieritas dari system tersebut. Pemodelan system dilakukan secara penurunan matematik akan sangat sulit, dan juga banyak elemen yang terabaikan, terutama elemen nonlinier, sehingga hasil dari model tersebut, masih kurang begitu efektif guna diterapkan langsung dilapangan. Selain metoda tersebut, ada metoda pemodelan lain, yaitu metoda identifikasi. Metoda ini akan memodelkan sistem secara keseluruhan, baik elemen linier maupun nonlinier yang kesemua itu dianggap menjadi satu kesatuan sistem yang terpadu (black box). Metoda ini akan  menggunakan pasangan data masukan dan keluaran system secara nyata. Pada pemodelan sistem ini akan menggunakan struktur model linier akan merepresentasi sistem secara linier. Sebagai obyek model system, penelitian ini akan melakukan pemodelan pada pembangkit daya listrik tenaga diesel (PLTD), dengan pendekatan struktur model linier, serta estimasi parameter dengan menggunakan algoritma kuadrat terkecil (least square). Dari proses pemodelan yang akan dilakukan, akan diperoleh model parameter serta struktur model yang optimal, sehingga diperoleh model system yang baik. Model yang telah diperoleh tersebut, selanjutnya bisa dipergunakan untuk keperluan lain, misalnya untuk keperluan pengontrolan, keperluan analisis, serta keperluan simulasi lainnya untuk system tersebut.

Abstract Ketapang city as the district capital ketapan. Ketapang city is a growing city needs to be supported by systems that better traffic management. This study aimed to develop a management information system roads in the city of Ketapang. This study requires data traffic flow and road obtained from relevant agencies and field surveys. This study resulted in a system that is capable of handling data as well as the intersection of the road and display it in the form of a map. Abstract

Abstract– In this study, the off-grid solar system is used to support the lighting for the residents in Dusun Sedayu. Each house had a total lighting power of 12 Watt consisting of two lamps of 5 Watt and 7 Watt lamp respectively. The technical analysis conducted includes several supporting components such as: the examination of solar panel capacity of 700 WP, the examination of the used battery capacity of 500 Ah, the examination of the BCU capacity of 60 Ampere and the election of the inverter of 12VDC / 220VAC 500 Watt. The results of the economical assessment obtained of the system are as follow: daily average power (P) which can be raised for 10 hours (07.00 am to 17.00 pm) is equal to 337.96 Watt, the average energy per day (Eh) is about 3,3796 kWh, the energy price per unit from the  off-grid solar system is about Rp.13.294,46, - / kWh, and the period of return on investment (payback period) of the off-grid solar energy system is about 4.01 years. By analyzing the Internal Rate Of Return (IRR) of the off-grid solar system, it can be concluded some of the following: IRR with energy prices of Rp.415, - (TDL. PLN) is smaller than the MARR, therefore, the project is stated as infeasible. However, the IRR with energy prices of Rp. 13294.46, - (price per unit of energy) is greater than the MARR, thus, it can be claimed that this project is worth to be done.   Keywords– off-grid, energy, technical,economic, investment.

Abstract

Abstract– Currently the main products of oil palm are mainly used as the producer of vegetable oil. The waste originally becoming problems for environment can be used as renewable energy. One of the solutions is by making use of oil palm waste as the fuel of Steam Power Plant. The objective of this thesis is to identify the number of production of fresh fruit branch and waste generated as well as to calculate the potential energy of oil palm waste as the fuel of Biomass Steam Power Plant. The solid wastes of oil palm studied were fibre and shell. Every ton of fresh fruit branch produced 13% fibre with the energy of 2,637 kCal/kg and 6.5% shell with the energy of 4,105 kCal/kg. The area of oil palm plantations that have already had plantation business permit in Landak District is 451,903.06 Ha. The research results show that the potential fibre and shell that can produced by 5 oil palm factories in Landak District, with the production capacity of 225 Ton TBS/hour during the last 6 years until 2016 reached 344,490,729 tons. The potential energy produced is 1,240,590,477 MWh. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 12 of 2017 on the Use of Renewable Energy for the Provision of Power, the basic cost of power plant for West Kalimantan Area is 1,406.75. Therefore, the remaining energy ready to use or sell (excess power) after reduced by the factory use is 1,186,885,214 MWh, and the estimated revenue from power sale generated by 5 units of oil palm factories is Rp 1,669,650,774,795. From five samples of oil palm factories, it can be used to estimate the potential energy from oil palm waste in the entire area of Landak District, based on the plant area that can produce the yield and not produce the yield yet. Therefore, the oil palm area of 113,800.59 Ha, it can be produced estimated potential energy of 2,033,268,169 kWh/year and estimated revenue of Rp 2,860,299,996,037,-. The potential energy from oil palm waste will increase year by year along with the increasing procution capacity, oil palm plantation area and increasing oil palm factory construction so that it can increase energy diversification in Landak District. Abstract

Abstract The research is on the use of optical fiber as a medium of transmission in form of optical wave (light), namely, G. 652 SMF and G.655 SMF NZDS, in Link Main Route and Link Diversity Route. Optical fiber also experiences losses. One of them is attentuation or the decrease of the light due to the distance and characteristic of the fiber. The value of the attentuation is measured by using Optical Power Meter and OTDR YOKOGAWA AQ7275. The result of the measurement is compared with the standard stipulated by International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Through the comparison, it is known that most of the values of the attentuation of the optical fiber is under the standards of ITU. It means optical fiber used is in good condition, except in Link Diversity Route in Core 22 and Core 23 due to bending in the distance 13 kms and 17 kms from the Link Main Route. And, to know the performance of system of the optical fiber communication, the method of Link Power Budget is employed. Keywords Optical Fiber, Attentuation of Optical Fiber, Link Power Budget

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat, memicu manusia untuk mendapatkan kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana yang lebih praktis, mudah dan efisien. Seiring dengan kebutuhan akan informasi jaringan komunikasi, teknologi WLAN merupakan solusi yang terbaik dalam mengatasi masalah jangkauan sinyal untuk daerah yang jauh dengan menggunakan antena Yagi dengan reflector berbentuk Bolic. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengujian pada frekuensi 2.4Ghz untuk meningkatkan daya terima wifi pada proses penerimaan sinyal wireless USBadapter terhadap sinyal wifi. Pengujian antena Yagi Reflector Bolic ini dilakukan pada jarak 80 meter dan 100 meter. Hasil pengukuran nilai level daya terima pada antena yagi reflector bolic untuk sepuluh kali percobaan didapatkan rata-rata sebesar -69,7 dBm pada jarak 80 meter dan -65,75 dBm pada jarak 100 meter. Dari hasil antena yagi dengan reflector berbentuk bolic maka diperoleh nilai penguatan daya (gain) pada jarak 80 meter sebesar 9,15 dBm dan pada jarak 100 meter untuk nilai penguatan (gain) terbaik diperoleh sebesar 37,25 dBm. Dapat dilihat dari nilai penguatan daya (gain) antena yagi dengan model reflector bolic ini telah berhasil dibuat sesuai tujuannya yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil penguatan sinyal pada antena.

Abstract

Abstract The Objective of this research was to analyze effect of additionheat to electrical comsumption onAir Conditioner(AC). This research using a unit of split AC with capacity 9000 Btu/h and R22 refrigerant, set up on 4 x 4 meter room size. Condition of room experiment was varied by getting additionof heat from workers, electrical equipment and give some ventilation effect by opening the door every and 1 hour. The result of research showedthat by additionof cooling load in the room causing time required for conditioning thetestroomat 25 of temperature is longer, thus theelectrical energy consumed wasgreater. In theempty room, the timefor conditioning the test room at temperature up to 25oC is 1 hours, with electrical energyconsumptionis 1.26kWh. The roomwith3 people workers, 1computer and1Laptop, the time required is2hours with electrical energy consumptionis 1.68kWh. The roomwith3 people workers, 1 computer, 1 laptop and the door was opened with 50% wide everyhour, the time required is3hours with electrical energyconsumptionis 2.54kWh. Abstract

The employees' presence is an important factor for an institution, which is relate to discipline and has an impact on the employee's performance.   Therefore, it is necessary to have specific data collection to record presence, absenteeism, and work activities that has done every day so that employee performance record in real-time and proper. There are many ways that can be done to achieve a good presence information system, one of them is using computer and mobile phone technology which is implemented with a website-based presence application. At the Pontianak State Polytechnic, finger print machine used in the presence process system, but it is still lack in efficiency and effectiveness in data collection, data retrieval as well as data recap calculations, which require a relatively long time. Besides, the bigger risk of error and loss of presence data.   Based on problems, a Web-Based Presence Application Development Information System created at the Pontianak State Polytechnic. The research method used in data collection, which includes research methods, interviews and literature. While software development uses a waterfall model which includes requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation. This web-based presence application can provide convenience in the employee presence process, data search and presence recap calculations, and minimize loss and errors in recording employee presence data. Based on web-based presence application testing and evaluation to thirty-four employees of Pontianak State Polytechnic, it stated that the web-based presence application is suitable for used by all employees of Pontianak State Polytechnic.

Abstract

Implementation of control systems has been carried out in many fields of science. One of it applications is in the agriculture fields. In this research we implemented a control system on farming in a box. Farming in a box is a system that uses old shipping containers for the purpose of growing plants in any environment. Inside shipping containers is fully assembled hydroponic pipe with air temperature control. In this research was built a little farming box from acryclic to imitate a shipping container. Main focus of this research is design an air temperature control using fuzzy logic controller. Fuzzy logic controller was choosen because many existing farming box use on off controller. In some application, fuzzy logic controller has better performance than on off controller. Farming box temperature is controlled by blowing cool air using an electric fan. In this case, cool air is produced by cold side of peltier. Electric fan speed is controlled by pulse width modulation signal (PWM) that generated from microcontroller. Air temperature data feedback is obtained from DHT 11 sensor that installed in a acrylic box. Sensor is physically connected with microcontroller and Fuzzy logic controller is embedded in microcontroller as an algorithm. Fuzzy logic controller was design with error temperature and error difference as an input, and duty cycle of PWM signal as output. Fuzzy logic controller system performs to reduce the temperature from 31,6 ° C to set poin 28° C in 71 seconds. Steady state error obtained by 1.28% and better than uncontrolled system that obtain steady state error 7,14%.
