Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the correlation between Grammar Mastery and Speaking Ability of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri15 Palu. The population of this research was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri15 Palu. The sample was 28 students taken by applying random cluster sampling technique. The instruments of this research were the written and oral test. The researcher used the Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Formula in analyzing the data. The result of both test showed that the was -0.102, degree of freedom (df) 26 (28-2), and was 0.374. In other words was lower than It means that there is a negative correlation between Grammar Mastery and Speaking Ability of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Palu.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the students’ difficulties in comprehending English reading narrative text. The subject of the research was the eleventh grade IPA 1 students of SMA Negeri 6 Sigi. The research used descriptive qualitative method. The instruments were test and interview. The test was used to gain data of the students’ difficulties in comprehending reading text. Furthermore, the interview was used to support the data about the students’ difficulties in comprehending reading text. The finding showed that the students’ difficulties are lack of vocabulary, low ability in comprehending narrative text, not have enough understanding about the general structure and types of narrative text, have no interest in English reading text, bored in reading English texts, and difficulties used past tense in narrative text. In other words, the students at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 6 Sigi still got difficulties in comprehending reading narrative text.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the ability of the 4th semester students of English department in writing descriptive paragraph. The subject of the research is the 4th semester students in academic year of 2017 consisting of seven students. This research used qualitative descriptive method.Written test and interview as techniques of data collection, and technique of data analysis were used percentage that was described qualitatively. Research finding shows that the mean score of the seven students is 77. Three of the seven students got 81, 82, 89.They belonged to excellent and good categories, and four students got 71, 72,74 and 66, they belonged to enough and poor categories. The result of interview indicated the seven students have different difficulties or problems; most the students faced problems on content and language uses.

Abstract

This research aims at improving students’ reading comprehension in English lesson by using scanning technique. This research is design as a quasi-experimental research. Population of this research was grade VIII students of SMPN 14 Palu and sample was 56 students that consist of 28 students from Cut Nyak Dien class and 28 students from Hasanudin class. The sample was taken by applying purposive sampling technique. Students from Cut Nyak Dien class are classified into experimental group, while Hasanudin class’ students are into control group. Research findings show that the t-counted was 3.268. By using level of significance 0.05 and the degree of freedom was 54, the t-table found is 2.015. This result indicates the t-counted value was higher than the t-table value. It means that the research hypothesis is accepted. In other words, the application of the scanning technique can effectively improve students’ reading comprehension.

Abstract

Dari hasil perhitungan, dengan menggunakan analisis model regresi linear berganda, diperoleh F-hitung sebesar 9,703 dengan tingkat probabilitas 0,001 (signifikan), serta nilai probabilitas lebih kecil dari 0,05, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Beban Kerja Fisik (X1) dan Beban Kerja Mental (X2) secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Semangat Kerja Pegawai (Y) pada Kantor Kecamatan Cempa. Dari hasil pehitungan uji t-hitung X1 = 1,939 pada taraf kesalahan 5% atau nilai profitabiltas 0,05 > 0,062, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Beban Kerja Fisik (X1) secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Semangat Kerja Pegawai (Y) pada Kantor Kecamatan Cempa. Dari hasil pehitungan uji t-hitung X2 = 2,771 pada taraf kesalahan 5% atau nilai probabilitas 0,05 > 0,010 ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Beban Kerja Mental (X2) secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel Semangat Kerja Pegawai (Y) pada Kantor Kecamatan Cempa.

Abstract

Pembentukan UKPBJ di Kabupaten Sigi di laksanakan pada tahun 2019 yang lalu dengan Surat Keputusan Bupati Sigi Nomor 2 Tahun 2019 tentang Perubahan Atas Peraturan Bupati Nomor 28 Tahun 2016 tentang Kedudukan, Susunan Organisasi, Tugas dan Fungsi serta Tata Kerja Perangkat Daerah. Dimana unit kerja tersebut secara struktural berada pada salah satu bagian dalam lingkup Sekretariat Daerah dengan nama Organisasi nya adalah Bagian Pengadaan Barang Jasa. Pembentukan Unit Kerja Pengadaan Barang/Jasa ini dilakukan berdasarkan amanat dari Perpres 16 Tahun 2018 dan Peraturan Lembaga LKPP Nomor 14 tahun 2018 Tentang Unit Kerja Pengadaan Barang Jasa, dimana Unit Kerja Pengadaan Barang/Jasa (UKPBJ) merupakan indikator penting tentang penerapan Good governance dan indikator kualitas kinerja pelayanan publik. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebelum adanya UKPBJ pelaksanaan pengadaan barang jasa belum maksimal karena masih terbatas pada proses tender saja. Dengan terbentuknya Unit Kerja Pengadaan Barang/Jasa (UKPBJ) proses pengadaan di Kabupaten Sigi telah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku yaitu Peraturan Presiden No. 16 tahun 2018. Dimana pelaksanaannya sudah efektif dan dapat berjalan secara transparan, adil dan menciptakan persaingan sehat. Seluruh proses pengadaan barang jasa baik tender maupun non tender sudah melalui sistem dan dapat dilihat langsung oleh masyarakat maupun penyedia melalui aplikasi SPSE (Sistem Pengadaan Secara Elektronik). Sehingga mendorong pemasok atau vendor untuk berpartisipasi dalam pengadaan publik. Begitu pula terkait efesiensi atau penghematan anggaran setelah adanya UKPBJ, naik dari 5,5% pada tahun 2018 menjadi 15,5%, hal ini menunjukan pembentukan Unit Kerja Pengadaan Barang Jasa berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap efektifitas pelaksanaan e-proucurement dan efisiensi anggaran.
