Abstract

  Abstract The research problem of this study is, how the process and learning outcomes of student in discussion text by using problem based learning models in VIII C class in the academic year 2016/2017. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning; implementation and evaluation of learning proses in writing discussion text by using the problem based learning model in VIII C class in the academic year 2016/2017. This Action Research was conducted in two cycles as below. this study showed that the average of students’ learning outcome before doing classroom action research was 66.64, and the result of students writing by using problem based learning model in the first cycle showed an improvement on the average of students learning outcome that was 75.48 and the result on the second cycle was 79.10.Based on this study, the researcher suggest the teacher in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak can take the advantage of problem based learning model that increase students participation in teaching learning process and pay attention on the shortage of this learning model. Abstract

Abstract Taboo in the Dayak Taman Kapuas  are all in the form of words which, if broken, will bring disaster that is still maintained today. This is the reason the researchers chose taboo in society Taman Dayak Kapuas using Ethnography of Communication.This study covers the classification of taboo, said component identification, and said underlying component smoothing taboo. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. Based on the analysis there are six classifications in taboo  Dayak Taman Kapuas, which names parents, the name of a relative, the name of the deceased, names of people and animals, the name of the Lord, and certain words.Components of underlying smoothing taboo, the which for reasons of morals, strength dangerous, and and avoid the event or undesirable state.   Keywords: Taboo, Taman Dayak Kapuas, Ethnography of Communication

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang tari Jepin Tali Bintang di Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang struktur penyajian tari Jepin Tali Bintang di Kota Pontianak Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan koreografi, data penelitian berupa struktur penyajian tari Jepin Tali Bintang di Kota Pontianak Kalimantan Barat. Sumber data adalah Juhermi Thahir, M Yusuf Dahyani, dan Anwar Jafar. Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Alat pengumpul data adalah dengan lembar wawancara, panduan wawancara, camera handphone, dan buku catatan. Hasil dari penelitian Tari Jepin Tali Bintang memiliki struktur penyajian yang terdiri gerak awal, gerak tengah, dan gerak akhir. Selain itu, ada elemen-elemen tari yaitu desain lantai, desain atas, desain dramatik, dinamika, komposisi kelompok, tema, iringan musik, tata rias dan busana, properti, dan tempat pertunjukan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan dalam pelajaran Seni Budaya kelas VIII semester I. Kata Kunci : Struktur Penyajian, Tari Jepin Tali Bintang, Kota Pontianak   Abstract: The aim of this study is to give the understanding and knowledge about Jepin Tali Bintang dance in Pontianak. This study is about analyzing the structure of the arrangement on Japin Tali Bintang dance in Pontianak, West Borneo. The research design used in this study is descriptive, which is qualitative research design. In this study, the researcher use a choreography approach, the data in this study is the structure of the performances on Jepin Tali Bintang dance in Pontianak, West Borneo. The sources of data are Juhermi Thahi, M Yusuf Dahyani and Anwar Jafar. Techniques used in this study to collect the data are interview, observation, and documentation and the instruments used in this study are interview questions, interview guides, cell phone camera, and a field note.The results of this study on Jepin Tali Bintang dance have the structure of performances which are consists of the initial movements, middle movements and end of the movements. Besides, others elements in dance are floor designs, upper designs, dramatic designs, the dynamics of dance, the composition of the group, a theme, back sound,  dance properties, makeup and dress, and a venue.The results of this study are expected to be implemented in the Cultural and Arts lesson in class VIII semesters I. Abstract

Abstract The problem of this research is by using make a match can improve the social science students learning outcome? The goal of this research is by using make a match can improve the social student learning outcome at the fifth grader elementary student at SDN 09 Southeast Pontianak. The method which use in this research is descriftive method and the form is classroom action research, and the kind of the research is collaborative. The resource of this research is teacher and the student of fifth grade at SDN 09 Souteast Pontianak. The sample was 32 student. The technique of collecting the data is direct observation and students learning outcomes sheet. The research was conducted in three cycles, with the result the teacher’s ability in preparing the lesson at the first cycle is 3,25 an the second cycle is 3,57 and the third cycle is 3,76. The teacher’s ability in implementary the lesson at the first cycle is 3,29 and at the second cycle is 3,67 an the third cycle is 3,71. The learning outcome of the student at the first cycle is 67,18 and the second cycle is 3,75 and the third cycle is 85,31.The learning outcome of the student at the first cycle is 67,18 and the second cycle is 83,25 an the third cycle is 85,31. This thing proved that by using make a match model can improve the social science learning outcome at the fifth grade student at SDN 09 Southeast Pontianak.   Keyword: Cooperative Learning, Make A Match, Social Science

Abstract

Abstract The problem of this research is how to using the media reality in the weight measurement of learning can improve student learning outcomes second grade at elementary school 09 Penabahan District of Sanggau Ledo?". This research to describe the learning outcome of students in the learning weight measurement using the media reality in Class II SDN 09 Penabahan District of Sanggau. The method use descriptive methods with classroom action research. The subject is the second grade students of State Elementary School 09 Panabahan, instrument used IPKG one and two. Analysis of the data for the first and second sub-problems using the formula average and sub Problem 3 using the formula percentage. The data source is a second grade students and teachers (researcher). Research procedure includes planning, action, observation and reflection. The results in the first cycle the average value in the classical 67 or classical learning completeness 55% and the second cycle the average value in the classical 78.05 and classical learning completeness 100%. Concluded that by using the media reality in the weight measurement of learning can improve student learning outcomes second grade elementary school 09 Penabuhan District of Sanggau Ledo. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan literasi kuantitatif siswa dalam aspek konten uncertainty and data pada materi statistika di SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 siswa kelas IX D. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata siswa memiliki kecakapan representasi dan kecakapan kalkulasi. Hal ini terlihat ketika siswa mampu mengubah informasi yang ada pada tabel ke dalam diagram batang dan diagram lingkaran serta mengubah informasi yang ada pada diagram batang ke dalam tabel. Siswa juga mampu melakukan perhitungan dengan tepat. Kecakapan aplikasi/analisis dan kecakapan komunikasi sudah dimiliki siswa namun belum maksimal sedangkan kecakapan interpretasi dan kecakapan asumsi masih menjadi masalah bagi siswa. Hal ini terlihat ketika siswa belum mampu menuliskan informasi relevan untuk menyelesaikan soal dan belum mampu membuat dan menaksir anggapan-anggapan penting dalam menganalisis data.   Kata kunci : Literasi Kuantitatif, Uncertainty and Data. Abstract : This research is aimed to describe the student’s quantitative literacy in aspect of uncertainty and data content in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. This research method was descriptive with case study. The subjects of this research were 35 students class IX D. The result of this research showed that on average the students have representation and calculation ability. This result seen when the students were able to convert the information in the table into bar charts and pie charts and convert the information in the bar charts into tables. The studens were also able to perform calculation right. Application/analysis and communication ability have been owned by the students, but not maximum while interpretation and assumption ability still be problem for the students. This result seen when the students haven't able to write the relevant information to solve problems and haven't able to make and assess important assumptions in analyzing the data.   Keywords: Quantitative Literacy, Uncertainty and Data.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to analyze the influence of media use Cooperative Script tipe in Indonesian language learning the speaking skills of the three grade students of SD Negeri 01 Rasau Jaya. This study used an experimental method to form quasy Experimental kind Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research were 48 students in which the entire population sampled. Samples were class III A as the experiment class and III class B as a class control. Data collector in the form of oral tests were 3 questions. The calculation result obtained t test (2,98)> t table (1.6658) with significance level α = 5% means a significant influence on Cooperative Script tipe. From the calculation of effect size (ES) of 0.95 with the criteria of high. This means that Cooperative Script tipe give high effect learning the Indonesian language on speaking skills of the three grade students of SD Negeri 01 Rasau Jaya. Abstract

Abstract The research is motivated by researcher’s curiosity to find out human image in Tjitanduy Tears by Bambang Setiaji. The issues discussed in this research are human humans images viewed from relationship with God, nature, as fellow humans, selves, and human image implementation in learning Language in high school.This research use descriptive method and qualitative form. Use sociology literature work approach.The finding from human image in the novel showed (1) human relationship with God, including as an obedient image, always shalat, pray to god, ingratitude, learn deepen religion, goodly, feel guilty for disobeying God; (2) human relationship with nature including image in leverage the nature, admire the nature, worship, love and leverage the nature ; (3) human relationship with peoples including responsible image, pioneer, doing good, work together, behave manner, wise, care, deliberation in agreement, and bravery; (4) relationship with fellows including friendly image, affection, honest, kind, filial, trusted, and crave for love; (5) relationship with selves including human image when confusing, sad, guilty, dissatisfied, anxiety, curios, and; (6) planning on human image implementation in novel for learning process viewed from curriculum aspect and legibility level worthy as choosing teaching material for XII grade high school students.
