Abstract

AbstractA common problem in this research is “how is the influence of example non example model on student learning outcomes in the subject of civics education grade 4 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Bangka Belitung Southeast Pontianak.study aims to find out how much influence example non example results on student learning outcomes on the subject of citizenship education grade 4 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Bangka Belitung Southeast Pontianak. Research method is experimental method. The form of research used in this study is quasy experiment, with research design posstest only control design. Population in this study were all 4th graders Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Bangka Belitung Southeast Pontianak.which consists of two classes namely class 4A and 4B. The data collections instrument used is a measurement techniquean data collection tools in the form of text of students learning outcomes in the form of essay with the amountof 10 questions. Based on the calculation result obtained average pretest experiment class 33,56 and average pretest control class 26,5. Posttest experiment class 70,38 and posttest control class 62,25. Then form the calculation of t test obtained price  = 1,6759. Evidently (2,8626)    (1,6759), then  accepted and  rejected form the calculation effect size 0,82 belong to the high category, this means learning by applying the model example non example give influence to the result of learning of citizenship educations grade 4 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Bangka Belitung Southeast Pontianak. Keywords: influence, example non example, learning outcomes, civic education.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of Student Teams Achievement Division Applying to the Outcomes of Vocational Education C grade V of Pontianak City State Elementary School. The method used is experiment with Quasy Ek-sperimental Design with Non Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The population is all Class V students consisting of 2 classes with 78 students. The samples were 39 Control class and 39 experiment class. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and data collection tools used there is a written test in the form of multiple choice as much as 40 questions. The mean score of post-test of control class 59,87 and post-test of experiment class is 67,88. The result of t-test is obtained tcount 2,5071 and t table (α = 5% with dk 76) equal to 1,995, which means thitung> ttable, hence Ha accepted means signitive and Ho rejected. Based on the calculation of the effect size (ES) of 0.56 with the medium category in the range 0.2 <ES> 0.8, so it is concluded that there is influence of the Student Teams Achievement Division model to the learning outcomes of civic education education class V Elementary School 28 Pontianak City. Keywords: Influence, Student Teams Achievement Division, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is teaching writing recount text by using clustering technique on the eighth grade students of SMP N 8 Pontianak in Academic Year 2016/2017. The research question were “does the use of clustering technique affect significantly in writing recount text on the eighth grade students of SMP N 8 Pontianak and if does what is the effect.” . The method of the research is experimental research and use pre-experimental research design with the sample of 32 students who were eighth grade “VIII B” of SMP N 8 Pontianak in academic year 2016/2017.The research findings showed that there was improvement on students achievement in writing recount text. Based on the result, there is different significant different students’ achievement. The mean core of pre-test was 61.17 while the post-test was 77.34. The students’ achievement was improved by different score between pre-test and post-test was 16.17. The t-test score (9.51) was higher than t-table (2.040)  at degree of freedom (df) = N1 (32-1=31) and the result of the effect size is 1.7 where the category is strong effect. The  null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Because t-value > t-table (9,51 > 2,040) on the level of significance 0,05 and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted Keywords : clustering technique, writing, recount text, SMP N 8 Pontianak.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to find out what extend is the correlation between vocabulary achievement and reading comprehension on the 11th grade students of SMA Islamiyah Pontianak in the academic year of 2016/2017. The population of this research was the 11th grade students of SMA Islamiyah Pontianak in the academic year of 2016/2017 with a total number of 47 students. It was divided into two class, XI IPS I and XI IPS II. The sample was class XI IPS I, there are 22 students taken by cluster random sampling technique.  The instruments of this research include instrument try out test and test of vocabulary achievement and reading comprehension. The results of the research show that there is a correlation between students’ vocabulary achievement and students’ reading comprehension. The correlation is positive and significant. The result of the hypotheses test showed that the coefficient of correlation is 0.563 and the total effective contribution of vocabulary mastery is 31%. The significance of F is 3.043 < 2.086.It means that Ho is rejected. Regarding the result of the research, it can be concluded that vocabulary mastery has positive contribution in reading comprehension.  Keywords: Correlation, Vocabulary Achievement, Reading Comprehension

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know the feasibility of booklet media variety of macroscopic fungi in Hutan Lindung Gunung Juring, as a learning media on fungi material in X SMA. This research consist of two step. First step is making of booklet media and second step is validation of booklet media. The research was quantitative with descriptive method. Booklet media validated by five validators, two lecture pg biology Education FKIP Untan, and three teacher of biology X SMA. One teacher from SMA/MA Negeri 1 Simpang Dua and two teacher from SMA/MA Negeri 1 Simpang Hulu. Instrument for validation booklet media using validation sheet comprise of ten criteria, with analysis data using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Indeks (CVI). Based on data analysis of the validation result, booklet media is vald with the value of each  Content Validity Ratio (CVR) from 10 criteria is 1,00 with CVI value is 1,00 so booklet media fit to use as a learning media on fungi material. Abstract

Abstract                                                           The purposes of this research are to encourage the students at STMIK Pontianak to                    actively            engage in the classroom discussion and to help the students overcome their speaking problems in reporting the result of discussion. A Classroom Action Research is applied to overcome problems arise in the classroom.Jigsaw II is one type of cooperative learning which is implemented in this study.The technique focuses on students’ interaction in groups, then it may give better achievement of their speaking skill. The observation, documentary study, recording, interview, and field notes become the data collecting technique used.This action research found out that Jigsaw II is effective and useful to teach speaking to the second semester students of STMIK Pontianak, Technique Informatics Program, through improvement of teaching process in the classroom.Keywords : Jigsaw II, Cooperative Learning, Speaking

Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to analysis student’s mistake profile in solved test about fluid pressure that contain kind of the mistake, presentation of the mistake and the reason of that mistake. The method that used to was ture interview that did on high, middle and low student’s category. The analysis data technic that did was Miles and Huberman model. Sample of this research was 66 students 8th grade SMPN 3 Sungai Raya. The result showed that the kind of mistake was formula mistake (2,52%), symbol mistake (32,56%), count mistake (7,07%), unit mistake (34,85%). Reason of formula mistake student forgot the material, they rushed, and wrong note, caount mistake because they don’t careful, unit mistake because they forgot, rushed, confused and cooperation Keywords : analysis mistake profile, complete question, presentation mistake, reason mistake, Miles and Huberman model

Abstract

 Abstract The purpose of the research is to analyse the effect of the usage of learning strategies preview, question, read, reflect, ricete, review on fifth grade child story reading students’ skills in 15th state elementary school in south Pontianak. The method that has been used was experiment method with forms of Pre-experimental design in the stake one group pretest posttest design. Research population of the entire fifth grad consists of 24 students in 15thstate elementary school in south Pontianak. The research sample was a class sample that is class fifth. Based on the result of data analysis, the mean of pre test was 63,26 and the mean of post test was 69,56. The hypothesis test result using t-test (Polled Variance) with dk 22 on 5 % significant level as known as table t = 1,717 obtained count (table t = 1,717). Then Ha accepted and Ho rejected. It could be conclude that there is an learning strategies preview, question, read, reflect, ricete, review on fifth grade child story reading students’ skills in 15th state elementary school in south Pontianak. The result of the calculation on the effect size is 1,02 (high criteria). It means that the usage of learning strategies preview, question, read, reflect, ricete, review gave high influence (effect) on fifth grade child story reading students’ skills in 15th state elementary school in south Pontianak. Keywords : Influence, preview, question, read, reflect, ricete, review, child story reading student’

Abstract

Abstract:The problem in this research is how to plan teaching model of economic learning. The appropriate method and used in this research is descriptive method, The research form used in this research is survey. The result of the research is the Planning of learning of IPS Integrated Subject Teachers in the planning stage is good enough. The activities of IPS Integrated Subject Teachers in the teaching process phase have been quite good. The activities of IPS Integrated Subject Teachers in the teaching process phase are good enough. This can be seen from the teacher to give questions to the students about the material that has been submitted. Then summarizes the results of the discussion of the subject matter that has been discussed. In the case of the assignment and assessment of Integrated Social Studies teachers see the available time, if time is not possible then the tasks assigned to the students are done at home and penilainnya dilakuakn at the next meeting, as well as to inform the subject to be discussed the teacher saw the time which are available.     Keyword : Implementation of Integrated IPS Learning.

Abstract

AbstrackThe title thesis is skill variation style teaching of sociology teachers in efforts to improve interest student learning class XA SMA Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. A problem common research is how skill variation style teaching teachers in efforts to improve interest student learning. As for the form of the research used in this study was qualitative research with descriptive research method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview techniques, and study the documentation, while the data collection tool is a guide observation, interview guides, and study the documentation. ( 1 ) skill variation sound is weak and interest students like are not interested in explanations that were given teachers with a that does not vary ( 2 ) skill variation a focus good enough and Interest students showed that when they called to see of course think disinclined, spirit and focus ( 3 ) skill variation time a pause is weak and interest students was also seem to be the least, they rejoiced be left noisy class, ( 4 ) skill variation movement or mimick is weak and interest students became is not focused, and little regard and impressed ignoring. ( 5 ) skill variation contact of view were quite good and interest students were clearly influential in learning process, with the that look that the building of the teacher making students back actively involved in learning, ( 6 ) skill variation displacement posision has been good enough and interest student learning back interested and spirit in learning.Keywords: skill variation style teaching, interest learning
