Abstract

The Indonesian Ministry of Health instructs the implementation of Covid-19 prevention efforts as recommended by the World Health Organization. However, there are still many people, especially the people of Bila Village, Sabbangparu District, Wajo Regency, who do not pay much attention to the health program, especially the use of masks when doing activities outside the home and are still lacking in using family medicine as traditional medicine. For this reason, masks were distributed and counseling on family medicinal plants to prevent Covid-19. This work program was carried out on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in one of the houses of the Bila Village community by distributing 10 masks per person as well as providing counseling on planting and using family medicinal plants as prevention of Covid-19 in the form of power points using an LCD. The presentation of this material was carried out with the midwife at Puskesmas Liu, Sabbangparu District, Wajo Regency. From the results of the implementation of this work program, it is hoped that the community will get a change in awareness of the importance of using masks and the skills to plant and utilize family medicinal plants in terms of increasing body immunity to avoid exposure to Covid-19.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is an actualization of students in devoting themselves to society and in an effort to achieve the aspirated Tridharma of Higher Education. Manyili Village is one of the villages included in the administrative area of Wajo Regency. A small village with the main source of income in agriculture that has been touched by technology although it is still not as massive as in other villages. In this village there are still no positive cases of Covid-19, this can occur due to the lack of mobility of residents outside the village who enter the village or because of the community's obedience to health protocols. However, in fact, now we can easily find people who do not apply health protocols in public places. Therefore, it is important to educate people who are not aware or tired of implementing health protocols. The method used is by providing posters in several public places, making educational discussion videos, and making a map of the distribution of Covid-19 sufferers. The results achieved have reached quite a few people, although they are still not optimal. In the end, protecting yourself from Covid-19 is a matter of awareness, people should think about their own health or at least not harm others

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 outbreak, there have been more activities will be done in the house. Starting from work, to daily activities such as sports and school are now carried out at home. In fact, not a few of them fill their spare time with new hobbies. One of the new hobbies that were popular during the Corona pandemic was farming. In planting, of course, you must pay attention to the planting medium or place where plants are grown. A good planting medium is to provide a dose of organic fertilizer in the medium. Making organic fertilizers by utilizing household waste can help recycle organic waste. Through this work program, the community is given education about making organic fertilizers from household waste. The aim of this activity is to increase public knowledge about making fertilizers as well as knowledge about healthy foods that must be consumed during the Covid-19 pandemic. This service method is by sharing videos and posters via social media. The 105th Thematic Real Work Lecture at Unhas "Ambassador for Changing Behavior for Covid-19 Prevention and Participatory Supervision in Pilkada" has been successfully implemented. Where, the results achieved were educational videos for the public and posters for the prevention of Covid-19 with the consumption of fruits and vegetables.

Abstract

One form of community service at the college level is real work (KKN) lectures. KKN is a form of activity where community service is performed by the student as well as off-the-books and off-the-books. The success of activities carried out by students can be seen from the benefits people feel after the work program. At this level of unhas wave of 105, students are called upon to create a work program related to the theme "the ambassador's change in covid-19 prevention behavior and 2020 pilkada supervision." Since more communities drink less fruit and vegetables, the activities of the individual work program they perform on this activity is an innovation in fruit and vegetable smoothies to increase body immunity during the covid-19 pandemic. Smoothies are powdered fruit or vegetables that blend a blender. The implementation of this work program will be held from January 21, 2020 to January 22, 2021, located in Teddaopu Village, Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi. In the making of these smoothies used raw materials like bananas, apples, and spinach. As a result of this activity, it is hoped that both social media users and the neighborhood community will learn that vegetables and fruits can be combined to produce healthy drinks like smoothies that boost body immunity.

Abstract

Students are intellectuals who take part in learning activities within the scope of higher education and take part in the current semester. Students in pursuing the world of lectures will definitely be identical with the Tri darma college, where the tri darma of college covers research and dedication education. To complete the study, students must pass the three points, one of which is dedication. KKN (Real Work Lecture) is one of the realities of dedication. In a separate KKN there are many programs that can be given directly to the community, some are carried out in groups and some are done individually. In general, the work programs carried out by students are adjusted to the background of the majors taken by students, or some are adjusted to the needs of the surrounding community. One form of the KKN work program is spraying disinfectants and making live pharmacies, this program seeks to welcome a pandemic, where what we experience is the spread of virus covid 19 and students are asked to provide community education to fight this pandemic.

Abstract

Public awareness that is still lacking on the importance of complying with health protocols such as washing hands, wearing masks, and maintaining distance is the basis for selecting the topic of education on the prevention of Covid-19 transmission in the 105th batch of Hasanuddin University Real Work Lecture (KKN) located in Hante-hante, Salumokanan Village. Utara, Rantebulahan Timur District, Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi. Through the distribution of hand soap and masks to residents around the house, making handwashing stations along with posters for proper and correct hand washing in front of the Toraja Mamasa Church building in the Hante-hante Congregation and in front of the house as pilot materials, as well as making pamphlets on the prevention of Covid- 19 which were shared via social media (WhatsApp). In addition, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the education sector, namely regarding the policy of the online teaching and learning system, has made learning in North Salumokanan Village not able to be implemented optimally, considering that the main supporting facilities for the internet network cannot be fully accessed. In addition, the economic level of the community belonging to the middle to lower economic community is not possible to have other supporting facilities such as cellphones, laptops, etc. So, the authors took the initiative to provide additional lessons related to scientific fields, in this case, mathematics lessons targeting students at the fourth grade level of elementary school who live around the house. The results obtained from the implementation of this work program are that the public can be reminded again to adhere to health protocols in order to break the chain of Covid-19 spread, while in terms of learning there is an increase in student knowledge and understanding regarding the concepts of fractions and multiplication.

Abstract

This Community Service Program is motivated by the situation of rice field management problems in South Sulawesi and Bulukumba Regency in particular. Lowland rice productivity in South Sulawesi only ranged from 4,197 ~ 5,074 tons/ha or an average of 4,623 tons/ha (BPS, 1993 ~ 2011). The problem lies in: (1) the narrowness of the managed land due to the existence of land pragmentation in farming families and land conversion; (2) land fatigue due to continuous and even excessive use of chemical fertilizers, (3) low adoption of superior seeds due to misunderstandings from farmers regarding the seeds they plant and partly due to frequent failures of the seeds distributed; (4) increasing pest and disease attacks due to the use of various and excessive pesticides, (5) weak regeneration of farmers due to the lack of interest in agricultural graduates to return to farming. This service program recommends a comprehensive solution by combining technological engineering (adoption of liquid organic fertilizer which has been patented by the Research and Development Center for Biotenology LPPM UNHAS under the name MOPlus Biological Fertilizer, adoption of superior hybrid seeds, efficient and effective control of water in farmland, and organic pest control). with social-institutional engineering (in terms of character building of farmers through direct assistance of the Expert Team in the management of lowland rice farming in a modern and sustainable manner). The results of this service program are an increase in productivity (35 ~ 50% of the previous production) and the growth of the nation's character (awareness of the interests of the national economy, scientific work or smart work, and concern for changing ways of thinking from moral choice to rational choice) in supporting increased productivity, competitiveness, and sustainability.
