Journal of Journal of Islamic Economics (JoIE) is open access, peer-reviewed journal whose objectives is to publish original research papers related to the Indonesian and international economy, economics policies and business issues. Abstract

ntroduction: This article aims to describe halal supply chain management implementation at the Wali Songo Ngabar Islamic Boarding School. Halal supply chain management is essential to ensure the halalness of a product, including food products. Research Methods: This research was qualitative-field research. Data was obtained from the management of PT Ngabar Mandiri Sejahtera, boarding school caretakers, and consumers. The data were analyzed using the concept of halal supply chain management. Results: PT Ngabar Mandiri Sejahtera has carried out a halal supply chain management process. These processes are halal procurement, halal manufacturing, halal distribution, and halal logistics. Conclusion: PT Ngabar Mandiri Sejahtera has carried out the halal supply chain management process, although some processes have not been maximized. Some programs to maximize the implementation of halal supply chain management are socialization and educating producers on the importance of halal certification, and facilitating halal certification programs for producers.

Abstract

Introduction: Go Ge Cap Lak, according to the Chinese community, has the meaning of expressing gratitude to Kie Ong Ya (the god of the sea) who has given protection to their ancestors when sailing the ocean so that they can reach the Rokan Hilir region. In the course of its history, Go Ge Cap Lak in addition to having theological value also has a very thick anthropocentric value that makes the tradition as one of the religious tourism in the region. Not only the ethnic Chinese community benefited but also Muslims who lived in the local area. This tradition has become an annual event with a considerable economic impact. However, what if this tradition is seen in the study of Islamic economic sociology Research Methods: This research is included in the type of field research with qualitative descriptive data analysis methods. Primary data sources come from data mining in the field and supporting sites such as disbudpora, while secondary data sources come from previous research Results: The tradition has an economic impact on the surrounding Muslim community. This expediency is in line with the orientation of fulfilling life or in the language of religion in order to maintain life. Conclusion: Go Ge Cap Lak also has economic value. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries includes Go Ge Cap Lak as one of the annual activities that are always held in Bagansiapiapi. This activity also made the economy of the Bagansiapiapi Muslim community rise and develop.

Abstract

Introduction: The rapid development of technology will certainly have a direct impact on the economic aspects of life. The presence of financial technology (fintech) will make it easier to obtain financing in a relatively fast time and easy to use capital. Fintech in Indonesia has given rise to a new innovation, namely sharia fintech. This study aims to determine the potential and challenges of fintech as an economic development effort correlated with sharia principles in encouraging a country's economic growth rate. Method: This study uses a qualitative approach of qualitative descriptive method because this research will explain the facts or symptoms that appear in the development of Islamic fintech in Indonesia. This research uses secondary data collection in the form of news and research journals on the phenomenon of Islamic fintech in Indonesia. Result: The results showed that currently the development of fintech platforms is growing rapidly from 2015. The presence of sharia fintech is a great. Based on OJK data, in 2021 the contribution of the Indonesian fintech industry has reached IDR272.4 trillion. This will certainly be an opportunity for the financial industry, especially sharia. Conclusion: To revolutionize conventional activities into sharia-based digital product service innovations to facilitate the community.

Abstract

Introduction: Purchasing decisions are individual activities and are directly involved in making decisions to purchase products offered by sellers. Consumer purchase decisions can occur if product innovation, prices and services provided are appropriate and satisfy consumers. This study aims to determine the effect of Product Innovation, Price, and Service Quality on Purchasing Decisions at Rumah Nutrition Melodina Club Dolopo Madiun. Research Methods: This study uses quantitative methods, using primary data. This study uses a census study technique, with a total sample of 62 respondents. The data analysis technique used in multiple linear regression analysis. Results: Product innovation has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, Price partially has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions, Service quality partially has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions,  the coefficient of determination R2 (Adjusted R Square) is positive at 0.789 and the Fcount value is 76.953> Ftable value of 2.68 so product innovation, price and service quality simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions    Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that product innovation partially affects consumer purchasing decisions, price partially affects consumer purchasing decisions, service quality affects consumer purchasing decisions and product innovation, price and service quality simultaneously affect purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to determine the effect of CAR and FDR on ROA with NOM as an intervening variable in Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2017-2022 period. Research Methods: This study used quantitative research methods with a purposive sampling technique. This study used 48 research samples. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of annual financial reports of Islamic Commercial Banks for 2017-2022, which can be accessed via each bank’s website. Results: The results of this study indicate that (1) CAR has no significant effect on NOM while FDR has an effect on NOM, simultaneously CAR and FDR have an effect on NOM. (2) CAR has no significant effect on ROA while FDR and NOM have a significant effect on ROA, simultaneously CAR, FDR, and NOM have effect on ROA. (3) NOM is able to mediate the effect of CAR and FDR on ROA. Conclusion: This study concluded that independent variables have no significant effect on NOM and have a significant effect on ROA. This results can be adopted by the bank for creating the regulation on improving profitability

Abstract

Introduction: The activity of making ceramics is a work that has been passed down from generation to generation from the ancestors of the Plered people until now. Amid its existence, the number of craftsmen in 2019 decreased to 163 from the previous number of 205 craftsmen. This study aims to determine Muslim ceramic craftsmen’s welfare level in the review maqaá¹£hid syari'ah in Plered District, Purwakarta Regency. Research Methods: Research data sources are primary and secondary data. A sample of 114 craftsmen was obtained through the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive analysis technique with a percentage formula through a Likert scale assessment tool. Results: The results of this study indicate that overall Muslim ceramics craftsmen who are classified as high welfare criteria are 38 people (33.3%), 74 people (64.9%) are at the moderate welfare level, 2 people (1.8%) are classified as low welfare level, and there are no craftsmen with very low or very high welfare criteria. The determinants of the level of welfare of Muslim ceramic craftsmen are through hifdzu din, hifdzu nafs, hifdzu 'aql, hifdzu nasl, and hifdzu maal. In this case, the indicator of asset maintenance (hifdzu maal) the majority of craftsmen belong to the highest welfare criteria compared to other indicators, which is 95 people (83.3%).
