Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the role of the Village Community Empowerment Institution (LPMK) in accommodating and channeling community aspirations in development in Mamasa Village, Mamasa Regency and the role of the Village Community Empowerment Institution (LPMK) in increasing community participation in development in Mamasa Village, Mamasa Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study indicate that the role of LPMK in accommodating and channeling community aspirations has not been maximized. LPMK does not schedule the right time to hold a meeting with each head of the environment, so it is not effective in conveying the aspirations of each head of the environment to LPMK.

Abstract

This study aims to open the meaning of the parts of the sandeq boat artifact and to unravel the local wisdom of the Mandar tribe in relation to the sandeq boat in Polewali Mandar District. The approach in this study is qualitative, describing Sandeq boat based on in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and analyzing Roland Barthes's semiotics to open the meaning of the symbols used by the sandeq boat, then selecting parts of boat artifacts that represent the local wisdom of the Mandar tribe. The results of the study indicate that the parts of the sandeq boat artifact have meaning oriented to identity and form of belief, how Islam and culture are united in their daily activities. Whereas the representation of the local wisdom of the Mandar tribe from the Sandeq boat is in the form of: Understanding of good time, good fortune, appreciation of life, religious and cultural values, and gratitude and sharing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of organizational communication, and to explain the process of employee performance, as well as communication barriers. The research is descriptive qualitative in nature to understand the phenomena that occur in the research subject with a phenomenological approach. Collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation study, literature study. The results showed that the organizational communication relationship between employees uses formal communication which is official model and can be done in groups or forums in the command line according to leadership communication. All employees cannot communicate directly to the leadership. The organizational communication relationship that occurs in the Mamasa Regency Tourism Office uses a top-down communication pattern and cross-channel communication. Some of the communication barriers are errors in the delivery of information from leaders to subordinates, semantic barriers, ambiguous barriers to communication between leaders and staff, physical barriers, and inability to convey information from the leadership to the staff.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the level of job satisfaction of the Regional Personnel and Training Agency of Majene Regency and the factors that have a relationship with the job satisfaction of the staff of the Regional Personnel and Training Agency of Majene Regency. Qualitative research focuses on how the level of job satisfaction of the Regional Personnel and Training Agency staff of Majene Regency. Data was collected by observation, questionnaire, and documentation techniques. Processed and analyzed quantitatively by presenting frequency tables and percentages to find out the percentage of respondents' answers partially to the indicators studied. The results showed that of the four factors that influence the level of job satisfaction of the Regional Personnel and Education and Training Agency staff of Majene Regency, the suitability factor of expertise with assignments turned out to not show employee job satisfaction, identity factor assignment meaning, task autonomy factor and feedback factor turned out support the work satisfaction of the apparatus.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of the Village development plan through Musrenbang in Rumpa Village, Mapilli District. This research is a field research using a qualitative approach. Methods of data collection through in-depth interviews with related sources and direct observation using data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the mechanism for implementing development planning in Rumpa Village has been running well and in accordance with regulations. But the level of participation needs to be improved, both public participation and government participation. Community participation in the form of thoughts, contributing ideas or ideas. Factors that hinder the level of community participation in musrenbang, namely the unpreparedness of the community due to their respective activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of the Regional Government in managing the agricultural sector through the Agricultural Counseling Center in Wonomulyo Subdistrict, Polewali Mandar Regency. The type of research used is qualitative, namely the author describes and analyzes the data studied or obtained in the field, both primary data obtained from the results of observations or interviews, as well as from secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Agricultural Extension Center in improving the welfare of farmers in Wonomulyo Subdistrict has been quite good. The Agricultural Counseling Center acts as a Motivator, Educator, Facilitator, and Change Agent. This is supported by supporting factors and inhibiting factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine community participation in the implementation of development in Maliaya Village Malunda District, to find out the role of the village government in encouraging community participation in the implementation of development in Maliaya Village Malunda Subdistrict, and to find out the inhibiting factors and drivers that influence community participation in the implementation of development in Maliaya Village. This research was conducted in Maliaya Village, Malunda Subdistrict, Majene Regency, from January to February 2017. The method used in this study was to use a descriptive research form with qualitative data analysis. The results of the study show that the community is a factor supporting the development in the village is not good enough when viewed from the low participation of the community of Maliaya village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Improvement of the Performance of Civil Servants as the implication of Law Number 5 concerning the State Civil Apparatus in the Malunda District Office. The study used descriptive qualitative methods to make a description of facts, certain characteristics systematically, factually, and accurately. The results of the study show that the level of work discipline of the State Civil Apparatus employees at the Malunda Sub-District Office is still far from the standard. Factors that influence performance and performance improvement in carrying out services are internal motivation, employee knowledge, and employee welfare.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagi variabel moderasi pada PT Ciputra Fajar Mitra Makassar. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 55 karyawan Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linear berganda gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan, budaya organisasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan kepuasan kerja dapat memoderasi gaya kepmemimpinan dan budaya oraganisasi.

Abstract

This study explains the role of the Regional Personnel Agency in the implementation of the recruitment of prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) in the Scope of the Polewali Mandar District Government, and explains the factors (internal and external) that influence it. The type of research used is qualitative-descriptive which describes the answers to the main problems of the study. Data collection is done using observation and interviews. The collected data was processed and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study explained that in the recruitment of candidates for Regional Civil Servants there were still frequent conflicts of interest between various elements both between the organizers and the work units of the institutions associated with the honorary staff appointed to the Regional Candidates of Civil Servants. Factors that influence the implementation of Candidate Recruitment Candidates in Polewali Mandar District are still colored by various levels of interest that affect the effectiveness and smooth implementation of PP. 43 2007.
