Abstract

This research focused on (a) the impact of Indonesian teenagers addicted of Korean lovers in learning Korean culture and its language; (b) to find out the advantages and disadvantages of Indonesian teenagers addicted of Korean lovers in learning Korean culture and its language. This research used 50 students of MAN 2 Mataram as the members of the K-lovers as the research participants.This research is qualitative and the data collected through reading some research papers and depth interview with Korean lovers members/community.The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique.This results showed that (a) Korean culture and its language was giving many positive and negative impacts for the teenagers of Indonesia addicted of Korean lovers; (b) the researcher found many advantages and disadvantages of Indonesian teenagers of Korean lovers in learning Korean culcure and its language. The results of this study are recommended to (a) all Korean lovers in Indonesia which encourage the development and utilization of learning Korean culture and its language, (b) Korean teachers to use this research as an alternative material and developing students motivation based on their needs, (c) others researcher to carry out further investigation with broader scope of content, focus and locus, and more participants to be involved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Syakhsiyyah Shafwan bin Umayyah fill Qissah Al Qasyirah Thabibun Nufus Li Thaha Husein (Dirasah Tahliliyyah Sikulujiyyah Adabiyyah Inda Carl Gustav Jung). Yang melatari pemilihan judul penelitian ini adalah bahwa karya sastra merupakan fenomena psikologi yang menampilkan aspek-aspek kejiwaan manusia. Salah satu karya sastra yang demikian dalam antologi cerpen yang berjudul Thabibun Nufus karya Thaha Husein. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan psikologi analitik Carl Gustav Jung, sehingga perubahan kepribadian dan gejala-gejala kejiwaan dapat diungkapkan. Ada beberapa hal yang menarik dalam Teori kepribadian, salah satunya, pada ranah tingkatan kepribadian (Level of The Psyche). Psyche itu sendiri sebenarnya dalam pengertian Jung adalah jiwa. Jadi objek jiwa lebih luas dari kepribadian itu sendiri, karena kepribadian sebenarnya masuk dalam komponen-komponen kejiwaan. Dalam tingkatan kepribadian Jung, terdapat Kesadaran (Conscious), Ketidaksadaraan Individu (Personal Unconscious), Ketidaksadaran Kolektif (Collective Unconscious), dan juga Arketipe Melalui psikologi analitik ini, dapat di temukan hubungan yang saling terkait antara objek material dan objek formal di mana, objek material disini, mengisahkan kejiwaan yang dialami oleh tokoh utama Shafwan yang mengalami perubahan kepribadian. Perubahan tersebut dikarenakan tekanan yang berasal dari suku akan sebuah kebanggan kehormatan hidup di sekitarnya serta kematian keluarganya yang terbunuh oleh sahabat Muhammad Saw. Tekanan-tekanan itulah yang mengakibatkan berubahnya kepribadian Shafwan dan juga mengakibatkan kecemasan yang mendalam. Setelah meneliti, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwasanya kepribadian yang paling dominan pada tokoh utama Shafwan adalah introvert yang mana introvert memiliki kepribadian tertutup hal ini berarti bahwa tokoh utama lebih mengandalkan dunia dalam individualis yang menganggap segala sesuatu dengan kaca mata subjektif.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the character of Moana in the animated film, Moana (2016), as a representation of black female leaders. The animated film is produced by Walt Disney, USA. In addition, the interesting thing about the film is the attitude of leadership which is shown by the character Moana. Stories emphasized primarily in the struggle of ‘black women’ –which is often considered as a “liyan” in the United States— in restoring the welfare of her community. This research uses the qualitative method and analyzed by the feminist literary criticism. From the three waves of feminism, which were shared by Cudd and Andreasen, Moana belongs to the third group—the wave that no longer sues the patriarchy, but rather to present a figure of a strong and courageous woman. The result of this research is Moana succeeded to show the leadership attitude of a black woman. She also succeeded to restore the welfare of Mautunui villagers by restoring the heart of TeFiti—theisland goddess. Her attitude as a leader is shown in her efforts to restore the heart, which has fought against the invasion of a coconut monster, facing Crab in Lalotai—the monster world, and facing TeKa-The lava monster. The film is used as a medium to state and represents that in terms of leadership, men’s and women’s rights are equal—eventhough they are white or black.

Abstract

The movie Aladdin was chosen as an object analysis in this reasearch, purposed to elaborate formulas in the movie. Theories used in this research are Bourdieu's cultural production arena theory and Disney's "princess" film formula. The researcher used qualitative research methods to processe and elaborate the data. The results of this study showed that Aladdin was a popular produc producted by Disney that can be proved by the movie’s income which labeled box office and the movie became one of the top 5 successful remake movie in history. The success of the movie can not be happened without the Disney marceting strategy that knows how to analyze the market demand at time. In the Aladdin movie there was same movie formulas as the other Disney’s but there was showed an atmosphere of feminism on the story too. Like, the actualization of the princess Jasmine, who gives a different image compared to the princess in other Disney films. The characterization of Jafar as a villain is capable eliminate the stigma of an evil character that used to play by female characters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk narasi pastoral dan kritik ekologi dalam ontologi cerpen Temukan Warna Hijau yang diprakarsai oleh Reni Erina dengan menggunakan perspektif ekokritik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Data dalam penelitian berupa teks yang mengacu pada rumusan masalah tentang bentuk narasi pastoral dan kritik ekologi dalam ontologi cerpen Temukan Warna Hijau, sedangkan sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu ontologi cerpen Temukan Warna Hijau yang diprakarsasi oleh Reni Erina dan diterbitkan oleh PT Elex Media Komputindo pada tahun 2014. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca dan catat, sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan identifikasi, klasifikasi, interpretasi, dan penarikan simpulan. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu penulis yang berdasarkan pada penelitian tentang bentuk narasi pastoral dan kritik ekologi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dalam ontologi cerpen Temukan Warna Hijau yang diprakarsai Reni Erina ditemukan adanya narasi pastoral (kearifan lingkungan) yang ditunjukkan para tokoh, seperti sikap kasih sayang dan kepedulian terhadap alam, sikap hormat terhadap alam, serta sikap tanggung jawab terhadap alam. Selain itu, dalam ontologi cerpen Temukan Warna Hijau yang diprakarsai Reni Erina juga ditemukan kritik ekologi dalam bentuk pencemaran ekosistem sungai, punahnya makhluk hidup dalam sebuah ekosistem, serta illegal logging.

Abstract

Background of the problems involved in this study is based on what researchers have found to be indigenous and culture abuators on the island of Lombok. More and more, local cultures are strictly ritualized without any deep significance about its value. So many local cultures should have been preserved by cultural agents, but they are being pushed asided even more. They regarded the local culture as out of date, ashamed of its own culture as a slogan for generations of the nation’s successor. Like the bereqe Sasak Lombok ritual, which is a typical sasak culture, there is no known presence in the sasak community. So this is the reason for revealing the educational value found in the bereqe riyual. Cultural values could provide as shield to maintain local cultural values without being displaced even with extinction. The purpose of this research is (1) to identify the educational value forms in the Lombok bereqe ritual (2) to uncover and preserved the local Lombok culture. The method used in data collection is the method of documenting, see, hear, and log it.

Abstract

Kumpulan puisi Kembali Melaut adalah kumpulan karya puisi penyair Lombok Utara bernama Imam Safwan yang banyak menggambarkan keragaman dan keunikan masyarakat dan alam Lombok Utara. Alam utara Lombok tergambar detail dengan keragaman ritual masyarakat utara yang masih terasa sangat kental dan lestari. Penggambaran detai sebuah puisi dapat menggambarkan karakter dari penyairnya. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mengetahui karakter kepenyairan atau bagaimana penyair menulis puisi sehingga memunculkan ungkapan-ungkapan khas dalam puisinya. Teori pijakan dalam membedah kepenyairan Imam Safwan adalah teori psikologi analitik oleh C.G. Jung dan focus pada pembagian tipologi yang mengarah pada karakter manusia. Melalui teori ini diharapkan penelitian ini dapat mengetahui bagaiman penyair menulis puisi berdasarkan sikap dan perilaku keseharian penyair sendiri, cara pemecahan masalah, dan menyikapi setiap persoalan.

Abstract

This library research aimed at finding out The Elements of Setting in the Novel Sukreni Gadis Bali By A.A.Pandji Tisna. In analyzing a literary work, we have to be able to give a consideration to analyze the elements in a literary work as a work of art, such as form, content, value, and society, which designed a literary work. Setting is everything that happens somewhere at some time. It is the element of fiction which reveal to the reader the where and when of the events occurred, we call setting. It refers to the point in time and space at which the events of the plot occur that can be classified into two types of setting, Neutral setting and the spiritual setting. In relation to those main discussion, this research used qualitative descriptive designed. The Novel entitled Sukreni Gadis Bali is a main source data, while other books reference are the secondary resource to support not only data collection but also data analysis procedure. After doing all the research procedure, it is found out that there are four elements of setting in the Novel Sukreni Gadis bali by AA.Panji Kusna. They are (1) the actual geographical location, including topography, scenery, even the details of room’s interior;(2) the occupation of modes of day-to-day existence of the characters;(3) the time in which the action takes place, e.g., historical period, season of the year; (4) the religious, moral, intellectual, social, and emotional environment of the characters
