Abstract

The author's concern about numerous cases involving adolescents in the surrounding environment serves as a reference for guiding the implementation of character education in high school or equivalent level education units. This consideration is crucial as part of an effort to prepare future generations, ensuring that students play a positive role in the future. The study seeks to identify and describe the character education values present in the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila book, and its utilization as teaching materials on class x negotiation text material in High School. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, with the primary variable being the content of the project book strengthening the student profile of Pancasila. The instruments employed in this research include both main and additional tools. The primary instrument is the researcher, while documentation guidelines and questionnaires serve as additional instruments. The research findings reveal the implementation of 17 character education values in the P5 book by Fera Atmawati. Subsequently, these findings are utilized as alternative teaching materials in the form of negotiation text modules for grade X students. The preparation of teaching modules undergoes validation by three experts, resulting in materials deemed effective and suitable for use. The teaching materials derived from this study contribute as an addition to the references for the few independent curriculum-based teaching modules currently needed by educators.

Abstract

Education is an essential requirement for individuals, leading to continuous efforts in enhancing the quality of education to produce highly skilled human resources. One of these efforts involves implementing the Jigsaw type Cooperative Learning Model, which aims to develop students' precision and cooperation skills during group discussions. The objective of this study is to assess the responses and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the science subject, specifically on the human digestive system, using the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model. This research adopts a quasi-experimental approach with a Pretest Posttest Control Design. The study population consists of fifth-grade students at SDKr Mutiara Kasih, and the sample is determined using a saturated sampling technique, resulting in a sample size of 16 students. Data collection methods include observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The independent variable in this research is the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model, while the dependent variable is the students' learning outcomes in science, specifically on the Human Digestive Equipment material. The data analysis technique employed in this study is the N-Gain test. The findings of this research demonstrate that the demonstration learning method has a significant impact on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDKr Mutiara Kasih. Furthermore, there is a notable difference in the influence between demonstration learning and conventional learning in the science subject for fifth-grade students.

Abstract

This research investigates the application of Instagram social media to enhance poetry writing skills among Class X students at SMK YAPIN Kertasemaya during the academic year 2022/2023. The study, focusing on 14 students in the ASKEP class, addresses the identified deficiency in poetry writing proficiency within the school. The research aims to answer two key questions: 1) How does the application of Instagram social media impact learning in poetry writing? 2) What is the effect of Instagram social media on the improvement of learning outcomes in poetry writing? The research employs a classroom action research methodology, with 14 Class X students as subjects. Data collection involves observations and tests conducted in two cycles. The findings reveal a notable enhancement in the process of learning poetry writing skills. In Cycle I, the average test score was 70, and it increased to 73 in Cycle II, indicating a positive progression. Consequently, the research concludes that the implementation of Instagram as a learning tool effectively improves poetry writing skills among Class X ASKEP students at SMK YAPIN Kertasemaya, influencing positive behavioral changes in the students' approach to writing poetry.

Abstract

This study aims to explore Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) within the educational context, focusing on the contributions of individuals and organizations to the innovation processes within educational institutions. In the face of the complex dynamics heightened by the challenges of the pandemic, the role of innovation has become increasingly crucial to ensure the quality of learning and the achievement of high educational standards. Educators, as primary subjects in this context, are expected to cultivate creative thinking abilities, explore emerging technologies, and advocate for innovative ideas to drive positive change in the education sector. The recent model proposed by Demircioglu et al underscores the critical role of network behavior in shaping IWB, emphasizing the significance of an innovative climate and knowledge sharing as key factors stimulating IWB. The research methodology involves a comprehensive and integrative literature review, providing an in-depth analysis of relevant literature. The study concludes by highlighting the necessity of collaboration among governments, school administrators, educators, educational staff, and the community to create an innovative and responsive educational environment.

Abstract

This study aims to delineate the language styles present in Andrea Hirata's novel "Orang-Orang Biasa" and ascertain its applicability as teaching material for historical story texts in Indonesian language learning. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, the research analyzes the novel to discern the form and meaning of language styles within it. The data source is the novel itself, and data collection involves library research, reading techniques, and note-taking. The note technique records the analysis results of the novel. The research unfolds in three stages: planning, implementation, and data reporting. The novel exhibits various language styles, categorized as: 1) comparison styles, encompassing simile, personification, metaphor, pleonasm, periphrasis, antithesis, prolepsis; 2) opposition styles, including hyperbole, irony, litotes, oxymoron, zeugma, innuendo, satire, paradox, climax, anticlimax, hypocrisy, cynicism, and sarcasm; 3) linking styles, consisting of metonymy, synecdoche, euphemism, allusion, eponymy, epithet, antonomasia, ellipsis, asyndeton, and polysyndeton; and 4) repetition styles, such as alliteration, assonance, chiasmus, epizeuxis, anaphora, epistrophe, mesodiplosis, epanalepsis, and anadiplosis. These language styles contribute to the novel's aesthetic appeal, imparting an artistic and dramatic essence. The findings are applicable to Indonesian language learning in SMA class XII semester 2, particularly in historical story text materials covering language styles within basic competency 3.4 (analyzing the language of historical stories or novels) and basic competency 4.4 (writing personal historical stories with attention to language). The teaching materials developed for this study utilize a modular approach.

Abstract

This paper aims to provide understanding of assessment instruments for learning outcomes, focusing on benchmark learning outcome tools, norm-referenced and benchmark-referenced tests, validity, reliability, and practicality considerations, various types of tests, and the process of preparing assessment tools. Additionally, it explores performance-based assessment tools, emphasizing the significance of authentic assessment in an educational context. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive paradigm, oriented towards understanding nuances, perspectives, and subjective experiences related to learning outcomes assessment tools. This approach allows exploration of perceptions from teachers, students, and other stakeholders.  Assessment is a crucial process in education, involving the collection of data to make informed decisions. This paper underscores the importance of various assessment types and techniques, ranging from daily quizzes to school exams. To ensure accurate and meaningful data, educators must use diverse assessment methods aligned with students' learning processes. The development of assessment tools is guided by determining types, forms, and variations based on specific needs. Effective assessment adheres to established principles, ensuring accuracy and reliability. The paper acknowledges potential shortcomings and errors, recommending the creation of a framework, use of relevant sources, effective collaboration, and time management when undertaking similar writing tasks.

Abstract

Literary works are an experience that can be learned from and provide lessons for reflection to readers. The novel is a type of fictional literary work that cannot be missed, which is currently developing rapidly in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method. This research will analyze the character values found in the main characters in the novel Re: dan peREmpuan by Maman Suherman. This research is very interesting because through studying literature, new learning and thinking can be gained. Researchers found 74 data showing the character values of the main characters in the novel Re: dan peREmpuan by Maman Suherman. The eighteenth character values according to the Ministry of Education and Culture in the main character Rere by Maman Suherman, first religious, found 5 quotes, second curiosity found 6 quotes, third honest, found 6 quotes, fourth independent found 2 quotes, fifth friendly found 5 quotes, sixth caring environment found 2 quotes, seventh tolerance found 4 quotes, eighth discipline found 3 quotes, ninth creative thinking found 4 quotes, tenth responsibility found 6 quotes, eleventh social care found 3 quotes, twelfth democratic found 5 quotes, thirteenth hard work found 4 quotes, the fourteenth found 4 quotes about national spirit, the fifteenth likes reading 3 quotes were found, the sixteenth appreciated achievements found 4 quotes, the seventeenth love of the homeland found 3 quotes and the eighteenth love of peace found 5 quotes in the novel.

Abstract

The advancement of globalization in today's society has had a negative impact on the manners and ethics of students. As a result, education plays a crucial role in shaping the character of students, particularly in terms of moral values. This study aims to examine the moral values depicted in the novel "Pudarnya Pesona Cleopatra" by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy and explore its potential as a learning resource in novel-based education. The research adopts a qualitative approach, focusing on the moral values portrayed in the novel. Data collection involves reading and writing methods. The findings reveal that the novel "Pudarnya Pesona Cleopatra" encompasses three main moral values: 1) individual morals, which pertain to one's relationship with oneself, 2) social morals, which involve interactions with others, and 3) religious morals, which encompass one's relationship with God. These three categories are further divided into 19 specific moral values, including honesty, never give up, sincerity, responsibility, firm stance, hard work, mutual love, parental concern for their children, parental obligations, children's affection for parents, helping, respecting each other, willing to sacrifice, respecting each other, advising, not imposing the will of others, always grateful, surrendering and praying, resulting in a total of 41 moral values. The outcomes of this study can be utilized as a valuable resource for teaching Indonesian language in the twelfth grade of high school, specifically in the context of Basic Competence (KD) 3.9, which focuses on analyzing the content and language of novels.

Abstract

Broadcast media can be found in everyday life as an important source in providing information, education, art and various other things. Information technology is developing rapidly. One technology that can be a medium for disseminating information and messages is film media. Film is a broadcasting technology that can provide a moral message in the film. Films can convey a message through audio visuals. The film taken from this research is Rudy Habibie's film. This study aims to prove whether or not there is an influence from Rudy Habibie's film on the increasing interest in learning in adolescents. This research uses quantitative and is carried out by distributing questionnaires that have been made using GoogleForm. The population is teenagers in the RW. 02 Kelurahan Cipedak, South Jakarta, which has been determined to have watched the Rudy Habibie film. Sampling was done by non-probability sampling. The variables in this study are teenagers who have watched the Rudy Habibie film. The results showed that Rudy Habibie's film had a positive and significant effect on increasing student interest in learning. Then H1 is accepted H0 is rejected. This means that Rudy Habibie's film can influence interest in learning in adolescents. The results are based on the distribution of questionnaires that have been filled out by the youth.

Abstract

This "BACKSTAGE" program is a feature format television program. This Backstage program will discuss all things related to behind the scenes of an event. This program is also very interesting because Backstage itself is a VIP area, not everyone can see and enter the Backstage area. This research has three benefits, namely general benefits, practical benefits and theoretical benefits. as for the purpose of this research is to provide information to the audience both those who watch and those who read this journal the importance of preparations made and prepared to support the smooth running of a Theater Arts. The creator of the work as a Producer creates an event program entitled "BACKSTAGE" in the making of this work is divided into three stages, namely pre-production, production and post-production. in addition to having full rights to a production, Producers also have duties in preparing an idea, conducting research, developing ideas, finding talent, recce, preparing tools, assisting the reading process, licensing production locations, preparing tools needed by each department and making production plans starting from schedules, drafting budgets, job descriptions, and real budgeting. In addition, the producer also controls during the filming and editing process, consumption, prepares accommodation and To avoid over time during the production process, the Producer makes a crew call that is adjusted to the hourly needs of each department.
