Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of compensation and competence partially andsimultaneously on the lecturer’s performance of STMIK Royal Kisaran in Asahan Regency, NorthSumatera. The population of this research was all regular (permanent) lecturers at STMIK Royaltotally of 90 people where data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and interviewsto those permanent lecturers. The quantitative method was used in this study, while the analyticalmethod used was multiple regression analysis by performing the F test and t test where the data isprocessed using SPSS software. From the results of multiple regression analysis the equation Y = 8.032+ 0.181X1 + 0.339X2 is obtained. Partially and simultaneously the compensation and competencevariables affect the performance variables of lecturers at STMIK Royal Kisaran.

Abstract

PT. Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi Medan is a retail company, which sells community staples andother equipment. This company has been around for 14 years. Problems in PT. Jaya AnugrahSukses Abadi Medan lies in employee job satisfaction, where some employees feel less satisfiedcarrying out tasks in the company related to Communication, Work Discipline, and Motivation.Theories used to support this study were related to Human Resource Management closely related toCommunication, Work Discipline, Motivation, and Job Satisfaction. Quantitative descriptiveresearch type was employed as the research method of this study. The nature of this study wasdescriptive explanatory. The data collection technique carried out by using questionnaires,interviews, and documentation studies. The obtained data were then analyzed using multiple linearregressions. From the research population of 103 company employees with 30 people were chosenfor the validity test. The analysis found tcount values on the communication of 2.831, work disciplineof 2.962, motivation of 2.059, and Fcount of 6.816. The results indicate that the coefficient ofdetermination was 14.6%. It can be concluded that simultaneously and partially communication,work discipline, and motivation had a significant and positive influence on job satisfaction at PT.Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi Medan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test and determine the results of the effect of asset structure, company size andprofitability on capital structure in basic industrial and chemical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia StockExchange for the period 2014-2017. In this research, the method used is the quantitative approach method withdescriptive research type and the nature of the research is descriptive explanatory, the data is taken indirectlythrough the website www.idx.co.id. Where the population used is 64 companies resulting in 22 sample companiesusing purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria. The data analysis method used is multiple linearregression analysis. So that the results of the research that has been done on the hypothesis show that partially theAsset Structure and Company Size have no and insignificant effect on Capital Structure, and Profitability has anegative and significant effect on Capital Structure and simultaneously that the three variables have a positive effecton Capital Structure with the coefficient determination of 19.1%.

Abstract

Tridiagonal matrix algorithm is known to be more efficient in the computational process than theGaussian elimination method in solving linear system problems involving tridiagonal matrices. Inthis paper, the tridiagonal matrix algorithm is applied to the cubic spline interpolation problem withnatural boundary conditions. In this case, the tridiagonal matrix algorithm plays a role in findingthe second derivative of each cubic spline sub-function so that it is more efficient in obtaining thecoefficients of the third order polynomials that form the cubic spline function

Abstract

To produce a data classification that has data accuracy or similarity in proximity of a measurement result to the actual numbers or data, testing can be done based on accuracy with test data parameters and training data determined by Cross Validation. Therefore data accuracy is very influential on the final result of data classification because when data accuracy is inaccurate it will affect the percentage of test data grouping and training data. Whereas in the K-Nearest Neighbor method there is no division of training data and test data. For this reason, researchers analyzed the determination of training data and test data using the Cross validation algorithm and K-Nearest Neighbor in data classification. The results of the study are based on the results of the evaluation of the Cross Validation algorithm on the effect of the number of K in the K-nearest Neighbor classification of data. The author tests using variations in the value of K K-Nearest Neighbor 3,4,5,6,7,8,9. While the training and test data distribution using Cross validation uses variations in the number of K-Fold 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

Abstract

Decision making is method of solving problems using certain way / techniques so that can beaccepted. After making some calculations and considerations through several stages, the decisionhave taken that decision maker goes through. This stage will be selected until the best decision hasmade. Decision-making aims to solve problems that solve problems so that decisions with finalgoals can be implemented properly and effectively. This study uses a simulation of decision makingfrom seven attributes to the proportion of the feasibility of a house based on data from CentralStatistics Agency (BPS). There are several techniques for presenting decision making including: ID3(decision tree) algorithm concept and Naïve Bayes algorithm. Both classification are learningsuperviseddata grouping. ID3 algorithm depicts the relationship in the form of a tree diagramwhereas Naïve Bayes makes use of probability calculations and statistics. As a result, in datatraining, decision trees are able to model decision making more accurately. The prediction resultsusing the decision tree model = 90.90%, while Naïve Bayes = 72.73%. Meanwhile, the speed of theNaive Bayes algorithm is better

Abstract

In this study, it will be discussed the comparison between apriori and fp-growth algorithms on aninventory model of item availability. The research about this topic becomes important and interestingto be studied because it illustrates the implementation of applied mathematics by constructing thematematical model, namely an inventory model of item availability. Then, the model will be solved byusing apriori and fp-growth algorthms related to the application of probability theory. In this case,apriori and fp-growth algorithms are used to specifythe pattern of dependency relationships between an item and other items so that the probability ofitem purchase based on other goods can be discovered. Moreover, the number of items which shouldbe provided by a seller in a shop or a supermarket can be calculated. Abstract

The concept of CRM is a concept aimed at establishing a good relationship with the customer. Abstract

This paper presents the results of chatbot implementation to support mobile learning in higher education. Thegoal of the chatbot implementation in this study, among others, is to address high interest of higher educationin Indonesia toward online learning support mainly during the resent NCOVID19 pandemic in which most oflearning process are implemented using online learning mode. The proposed chatbot prototype has been testedin the University of Andalas, Sumatera, Indonesia. The chatbot is designed using standard softwareengineering method and implemented using Android-based mobile application flatform. Respondents for thechatbot evaluation are chosen based on purposive random sampling among students of Department ofSociology as sampling population. The data collecting is implemented using survey method with selfadministered questionnaires. The overall evaluation results showed that the designed and implementation hasmet the students’ expectation. Interestingly most of the respondents showed their interest to use the chatbot

Abstract

This study aims to determine and test the effect of partial or simultaneous Earning Per Share, Current Ratio, andDebt to Equity Ratio on Financial Distress in Mining Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Thesampling technique uses purposive sampling technique, amounting to 14 companies with 4 years of observation.(four) years and data obtained from the financial statements of Mining Companies Listed on the Indonesia StockExchange at www.idx.co.id. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. Based on theresearch results, it is found that partially and simultaneously Earning Per Share, Current Ratio, and Debt toEquity Ratio have a significant effect on Financial Distress in Mining Companies Listed on the Indonesia StockExchange. The effect of Earning Per Share, Current Ratio, and Debt to Equity Ratio on Financial Distress inMining Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange is 53.9%
