Abstract

Vitamin A is an essential nutrient for humans, because these nutrients can not be made by the body, so it must be filled from the outside. Vitamin A may increase one of them on postpartum mother because at that time the mother at high risk for vitamin A deficiency.The purpose of this study was to know the level of knowledge about the postpartum mother vitamin A capsules in Wonosari Ponkesdes Ngoro Mojokerto. This study was descriptive. The study population was all postpartum mothers who are in the Ponkesdes Wonosari Ngoro Mojokerto. The sample used was total sampling throughout the postpartum mother (30 days post saline) in Ponkesdes Wonosari Ngoro Mojokerto. The collection of data is primary data and secondary data. The instrument used was a book cohorts of women and questionnaires closed (close ended) multiple choice. The results of this study can be seen that the level of know most mothers have knowledge good enough that 43% (13 people) of the total respondents, while the level of knowledge of postpartum mothers about vitamin A capsules at a level understand most of the women had less knowledge well that is 83% (25 people) of the total respondents.The results showed the level of knowledge about postpartum mothers vitamin A capsule in the region Ponkesdes Wonosari Ngoro Mojokerto majority of respondents are in the poor category. The right solution to tackle it then postpartum mothers in need of useful information about the capsule of vitamin A that is by improving education or socialization of vitamin A capsules to be easily understandable for women

Abstract

Melasma is a problem for acceptor injections because melasma is very disturbing in terms of beauty and appearance, to the researchers wanted to know the extent of the effect of duration of use of contraceptive injections 3 months with the incidence of melasma in the village Karangjeruk Jatirejo District of Mojokerto in 2016. Observational analytic research with cross sectional approach, the population is acceptor injections of 3 months in the village karangjeruk districts Jatirejo mojokerto held on August 15 to September 15, 2016 the data obtained from the use of a long checklist and the incidence of melasma. Data were analyzed using chi-square with 38 respondents. Research cross-tabulation between duration of use on the incidence of melasma acceptor 3-month injections are mostly occurred in ≥ 5 years old usage is 17 respondents while the user is less than <5tahun many who did not have melasma incidence that is 11 respondents. Based on the results of statistical tests using Fisher's Exact Test showed that the p-value was 0.004 so that correlation the use of injections of 3 months with the incidence of melasma. For health workers, especially midwifery in an effort to improve services to acceptors in particular related to the treatment of side effects 3-month injectable contraceptive counseling are effective where the acceptor can change the way in the use of contraceptives after 5 years.

Abstract

Patient safety is part of quality and safety is a goal that most can be felt by the patient. Quality services certainly will not injure the patient. Service quality is definitely safe. Instead, the service quality is not necessarily safe and error-free. The purpose of this research to determined the relationship of patient safety with the service quality inpatient hospital Dr wahidin sudiro husodo mojokerto. This research is an analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all inpatient hospital Dr wahidin sudiro husodo mojokerto taken from the average number of patients in the first month that as many as 156 patients. Sampling technique using Proporsionate Stratified Random Sampling and obtained a sample of 61 respondents. The independent variables in this study is patient safety and and the dependent variable in this study is the quality of sevice. Data analysis using chi- square test. Statistically, there is a relationship of patient safety with quality of care in inpatient hospital Dr wahidin sudiro husodo mojokerto. with r value (0.008) <α (0.05). The importance of promoting a culture of patient safety as one of the main issues on hospital accreditation standards closely related to quality of care. In line with this important also improved the quality of service on tangible indicators (direct evidence), considering the quality of service on tangible indicators and empathy are still valued less by respondents

Abstract

Unmet need for family planning was a phenomenon that was still going on, especially in developing countries. Figures unmet need was defined as the percentage of women of childbearing age (15-49 years) were married who did not want to have any more children or wanted to delay the next birth but did not use a tool / method of contraception. This study purposed to analyze the Influence Perceptions About Contraception husband and wife Involvement in Decision Making of Genesis Unmet Need KB at Fertile Age Couple in District Benjeng. This research was an observational analytic study design Case Control Study. A large sample of 36 respondents that was couples of childbearing age were selected by random cluster sampling using primary data using questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using Multiple Logistic Regression. The results showed the husband's perception about the tools contraception with p-value = 0.004 (p <0.05) with OR = 0.110, and there were several variables that were not significant with the age variable p-value = 0.998 (p> 0.05), revenue with p-value = 0.996 (p> 0.05), work with p-value = 0.995 (p> 0.05), the number of children living p-value = 0.997 (p> 0.05), education p- value = 1.000 (p> 0.05), giving KIE p-value = 0.998 (p> 0.05) and the wife's involvement in decision-making with a p- value = 0.997 (p> 0.05). In this study it can be concluded that the unmet need for family planning was influenced by the perception husband about contraception. Recommendations from the study were services / agencies such as BKKBN needed to keep an eye on areas of high unmet need and prone areas of unmet need, improved program performance of health workers in providing knowledge to change people's attitudes, maximizing performance Field Officer of Family Planning and disseminated family planning programs to EFA and the wider community. Increased understanding of the benefits of family planning to join the wider community by improving the quality of service delays and information, education and communication (IEC) on the importance of birth control for the welfare of society

Abstract

Adolescence is a time where a lot of people suffer from anxiety, restlessness, and confusion when searching an identity. At this time some of the teenagers who thought with consuming drinking may increase their confidence becomes more and more acceptable to the environment or peers. Many factors can influence drinking behavior in adolescents, because the purpose of this study was to determine the environmental background of consumption drinking in adolescents in Gayaman Village, District Mojoanyar - Mojokerto. This study used analytical method and crossectional approach. The population in this study were all teenagers at Gayaman Mojoanyar Mojokerto. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling so that the sample was 42 adolescents. Data analized by using regression analysis (5 predictors). The results showed a positive correlation between environmental factors such as family aspect (rX1Y = 0.622 and p = 0.000 and p <0.001) and aspects of school friends (rX3Y = 0.622 and p = 0.000 and p <0.001) with the consumption of drinking on teens. This study showed that the importance of the role of family harmony, the application of norms in the family and the character of a teenage school friends in determining the behavior of drinking that occurs in adolescents.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is the infant only breast-fed only, without the addition of other liquids, such as formula milk, orange juice, honey, tea, water and without the addition of solid foods such as banana, papaya, milk porridge, biscuits, rice gruel and teams. Data coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the PHC kedundung in 2013 as much as 12.5%, in 2014 as much as 37.3%, in 2015 as much as 54.6%. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the work towards the success of exclusive breastfeeding in the PHC kedundung Mojokerto. Analytic observational research with case control design with a sample of cases and controls by 70 mothers of infants. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with logistic regression. The results of this study indicate that the work hours of work ≤ 8 hours is significant to the success of exclusive breastfeeding (OR = 4.374; 95% CI: 1.409 to 13.576). Conclusion: ≤ 8 hours work hours have an effect on the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Suggestions can be drawn based on the results of this research are health education should be given to working mothers about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Cases of sexual abuse of children is one of the cases that have increased quantitatively also qualitative. The parental care in providing reproductive health education influence children’s growth and development, especially in reproductive health problems.This study aimed to analyze the relationship patterns of parenting with reproductive health behavior of children in order to prevent sexual abuse of children in Mojokerto. The research design was crosssectional. This research was conducted in Mojokerto in June 2016. The population were all students in 4th and 5th grade and their parents. The research sample of 103 people that selected using simple random sampling. Data collection was carried distributing questionnaires to the respondents. Data analyzed by using Chi Square and Fisher's Exact test. The results showed that there is a relationship between the parenting with reproductive health action in order to prevent child sexual abuse in children.Reproductive health education by parents to children can increase children's awareness and confidence that will eventually affect attitudes. If the child is already getting reproductive health education from parent, then the child will try to keep her reproductive health and trying to keep himself in order to avoid sexual violence.

Abstract

Menopause is the last menstruation of a woman which is often interpreted as the end of functioning reproduction organs. Anxiety often appears, and is attributed to anxiety due to counterpart situations in which women would not want. The feeling of anxiety will risk to a depression. Depression can vary from latiness, less spirit, emptiress, end the feel of meaningless the goal of this research is to know mothers anxiety facing physical changes during menopause in Desa Ngoro Kecamatan Ngoro Kabupaten Mojokerto.This research is a descriptive research. The population is all mothers who have got menopause in Desa Sambung Rejo Kecamatan Sukodono Kabupaten Sidoarjo, as many as 148 people with 60 people as samples , and cluster random sampling as samples taking technique the Variable of this research is mothers anxiety in facing physical changes during menopause. The data were collected by using questionnaires. After data collection data analysis was conducted by using T- Score.The result of the research showed that most respondents suffered anxiety, as many as 36 respondents (60%) this is caused by the fact that more than a half of the respondents are hausewires, as many as 32 people (53,3%), and almost half of the respondentsonly got to continue education until junior high school level as many as 10 people (16,7%). Health practitioners are expected to give informations about menopause and be able to give counseling and midwivery training in accordance to mothers need.

Abstract

Menopause of woman life is natural process and must be experienced by every woman. Normally menopause in 40 until 60 years. Menopause has many symptoms that vasomotor symptoms, fisic symptoms, psicosocial symptoms and sexual symptoms. The symptoms of menopause influnced quality life of menopause. The objectives of this study is to analysis of factor quality life of menopause. This study designed by cross-sectional design. Samples taken by simple random sampling. Samples of this study as many as 105 respondents who menopause mother , can read, good communication and cooperative. Variables independent of this study are age, education, employment, body mass index, number of child, menopausal stage. Variabel dependent are quality life of menopause. Data collected with interview and MQOL (Menopause Spesific Quality Of Life ) instrument. The results showed the all of respondents has aged on normally menopause, and majority with lower education, unemployment and has 2 until 5 of child. Body mass index and menopausal stage has same proportion of each other categorical. Bivariat analysis showed that associated signifikan between education, employment, body mass index, menopausal stage with quality life of menopasuse. Using by the logistic regression, the results showed that Body mass index has effected with quality life of menopasuse . Health workers must do early detection or screening should be a continue assessment in quality life of menopause. That di decresase symptoms of menopause and increase quality life of menopause.

Abstract

Personal hygiene is a self-care that is done to maintain health. Personal hygiene is the first step in realizing health. Elderly people especially should be encouraged to carry out personal hygiene routinely. The purpose of this case study was applying the nursing care for poor personal hygiene in elderly with elevated uric acid levels. This case study used observation and interview methods that submitted to the client by using the geriatric nursing care format. Respondents of personal hygiene, namely the elderly aged 75-80 years as many as 2 respondents. from the results of the assessment on the client with poor personal hygiene characterized by client's dirty hair, unkempt, body odor, long and dirty nails, ears were not cleaned, dental caries and bad breath. On both clients obtained the same signs and symptoms so that the nursing problems that arose on both the clients was poor personal hygiene interventions and implementation were done by bathing the client, the client's hair combed, cut the nails, washed clients hair and examination of uric acid on both clients. Evaluations were obtained from both the clients the problem of nursing problem partially resolved and in accordance with the purpose and results criteria.
