Abstract

Indonesian traditional cuisine itself has begun to be forgotten by today's generations due to globalization's emergence of various foreign cuisines. Many factors make some traditional dishes become unknown or in demand. This case is because, due to the lack of introduction to traditional cuisine itself, it causes people not to know about the existence of some traditional dishes. Preserving the nation's traditional cuisine is the responsibility of the Indonesian people. West Sumatran traditional cuisine is one of Indonesia's traditional dishes with various dishes with distinctive culinary tastes, namely: spicy, sweet, sour, and savoury, all of which can spoil the tongue of those who eat it. Traditional West Sumatran cuisine can be found in traditional markets in West Sumatra. However, not all traditional West Sumatran cuisine types are available in traditional markets; traditional dishes are made only on certain days, such as Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, traditional ceremonies, and weddings ceremonies. On that basis, this research aims to explore West Sumatra's traditional cuisine with photography techniques more deeply. In this study, the authors describe traditional foods displayed and combined with photographic techniques. The research results show that, through photography techniques, the exotica of traditional West Sumatran cuisine can be explored. This research also found that, in order to maximize food exploration through photographic techniques, photographers need to work closely with food stylists.

Tapango District has sufficient cocoa potential to become a source of community income. Management and income generation can be achieved by integrating cocoa plantations with goats. Mathematically the integration of cocoa and goats can affect farmers' income. What's more, the price of cocoa is currently increasing. Likewise with the sale of goats as additional income for farmers. The integration of cocoa plants with goats has been a tradition in Tapango District for a long time and at the same time as saving for farmers to cover unexpected costs. These opportunities and challenges go hand in hand because of the factors that affect the integration system of cocoa plants and goats. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relationship between the two and other factors that influence the income of farmers in Tapango District. This study is a quantitative descriptive study, the data obtained in this study was carried out by observation techniques, namely collecting information by making direct observations of the research location and interview techniques, namely by collecting information by asking and answering questions through respondents totaling 30 people who owned cocoa land and integrate with goats. To find out the relationship between several independent variables and the dependent variable, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis was used. Factors of age, education, land area, number of livestock, land status and other occupations have a significant effect on increasing farmers' income in Tapango District. The results of the study along with the test equipment and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis showed that these factors had a significant and even very real effect on increasing farmers' income

This research was conducted to empower ustadzah in Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding schools through an empowerment program to read the bald book, by applying the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method for five months, from March to the end of July 2021. The results of the research show that the ustadzah are very active in da'wah and general education activities through the Muhammadiyah association. The program that was implemented to empower reading the bald book was successful in increasing the ability to read the bald book simply among ustadzah. Based on these results, researchers provide several suggestions. Based on these results, researchers provide several suggestions. Islamic boarding schools are advised not to involve ustadzah too much in activities outside of Islamic boarding school activities so that they can focus more on increasing Islamic boarding school competency. Apart from that, Islamic boarding schools need to continue to improve the abilities of their ustadzahs through upskilling efforts in mastering Arabic books. Simultaneous follow-up to programs that have been implemented is also needed. If weaknesses are found in future program implementation, a review needs to be carried out using appropriate research methods. In this way, efforts to empower ustadzah can continue to develop and make a greater contribution to Islamic boarding school learning.

Abstract

Early education has an important role in forming a quality millennial generation. The quality of early education can be seen from the curriculum implemented. A quality Diniyah curriculum enables the millennial generation to understand religion and its practice in everyday life. This mentoring program was carried out with the aim of describing the existence of the Madrasah Diniyah curriculum. Furthermore, curriculum development was carried out as an effort to prepare a quality millennial generation. The mentoring method uses Participatory Action Research. This method is used in the context of community service research in designing the development of the Madrasah Diniyah curriculum. Curriculum development strengthens aspects of the Arabic language, especially the ability to understand grammar. The media and learning methods used adapt modern methods and maintain classical methods as "genuine" methods in Islamic boarding school communities.
