Abstract

This study examines how brand image, service quality, and promotion strategies impact teacher satisfaction in WIJABA Sidoarjo, a non-profit educational organization. Using a quantitative approach with 179 teacher respondents, the research reveals a significant positive correlation between these factors and teacher satisfaction. The findings underscore the importance for non-profits to prioritize brand image, service excellence, and effective promotions to enhance teacher satisfaction and overall educational quality. Abstract

This study examines the impact of education level, accounting knowledge, and business experience on the utilization of accounting information among MSME owners in Gempol, Pasuruan. Using a quantitative approach with 30 MSME owners as respondents selected through purposive sampling, data were collected via Likert scale questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS. Results indicate that education level and business experience significantly affect accounting information utilization, while accounting knowledge does not. These findings underscore the importance of considering education and experience in designing interventions to improve MSMEs' financial management practices, offering insights for policymakers and business support organizations aiming to enhance MSME growth and development in the region.Highlight: Education and experience influence accounting information utilization among MSME owners. Accounting knowledge has limited impact on information utilization. Findings inform policy for enhancing MSME financial management practices. Abstract

This study explores how self-efficacy influences academic self-adjustment among new students in the Faculty of Psychology and Education at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Using quantitative correlational research, we analyzed data from 354 students, with a sample size of 181 determined through the Krejcie-Morgan table. The self-efficacy and academic self-adjustment scales showed high reliability (Cronbach's alpha scores of 0.830 and 0.825, respectively). Results from simple linear regression indicated a positive relationship between self-efficacy and academic self-adjustment, with self-efficacy contributing significantly to 8.2% of the variance. This highlights the importance of bolstering self-efficacy beliefs to aid new students in their academic adaptation during the college transition, particularly in psychology and education faculties. Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between self-efficacy, self-control, and academic procrastination among students in the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo (UMSIDA). Utilizing a quantitative correlational design, data from 327 participants were collected using three psychological scales previously tested for reliability and validity on a sample of 30 individuals. Results from multiple linear regression analysis show that both self-efficacy and self-control significantly predict academic procrastination, collectively explaining 45.8% of the variance, with self-efficacy contributing 24% and self-control 21%. Understanding these dynamics has implications for targeted interventions to mitigate academic procrastination and enhance student success and well-being in this academic context. Abstract

This study examines the learning motivation levels among high-grade students at SD Islam Sabilillah Sidoarjo, utilizing a descriptive quantitative research approach with a sample size of 217 out of a total population of 506 students. Data analysis via descriptive statistical tests revealed that 68% of students demonstrated a moderate level of learning motivation, while 19% exhibited a high level and 13% had a low level. These findings highlight the students' ability to sustain learning motivation during academic activities at school and offer insights for enhancing motivation strategies in full-day school settings, with implications for educational institutions and policymakers. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of student learning independence and perceptions of the learning environment on science learning outcomes at SMPN 1 Gempol. Utilizing non-experimental quantitative research with a correlational Ex post facto design, data from 293 students were analyzed using stratified random sampling. Results reveal significant positive correlations between student learning independence, perceptions of the learning environment, and science learning outcomes. These findings emphasize the importance of fostering student independence and creating conducive learning environments for enhancing science education outcomes at SMPN 1 Gempol. Abstract

General Background: The integration of multimedia resources in education has gained attention for its potential to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Specific Background: While various teaching methods exist, the role of animated short movies in developing narrative writing skills among junior high school students remains underexplored. Knowledge Gap: Previous research has primarily focused on traditional methods of writing instruction, leaving a gap in understanding the specific effects of visual storytelling on writing proficiency. Aims: This study investigates the use of animated short movies as a tool for teaching narrative text writing skills to ninth-grade students in a junior high school in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. Results: A pre-test was administered to assess students’ initial writing skills, followed by a treatment using animated short movies, culminating in a post-test. The results indicated a significant increase in mean scores from 76.87 (pre-test) to 89.06 (post-test), supported by t-test analysis demonstrating improved writing quality. Novelty: This study contributes new insights into effective teaching strategies by highlighting the positive role of animated short movies in narrative writing instruction. Implications: The findings suggest that educators can incorporate animated short movies to create a more engaging and enjoyable writing learning environment, potentially leading to better student outcomes in narrative text composition.
