Abstract

This paper aims to provide a conceptual framework regarding the reality counseling approach as a preventive effort for persons with disabilities. The problems faced by individuals with disabilities are essentially very complex and can be viewed from various aspects. In general, it can be grouped into three, namely learning barriers, developmental delays, and developmental disabilities. To foster a social spirit with disabilities, it is necessary to have facilities that can provide information, namely counseling guidance activities. One effort that can be done is through reality counseling. The concept of reality counseling is to emphasize the responsibility of persons with disabilities in responding to current conditions and to encourage the counselee to face the current reality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling to overcome interpersonal communication in the Islamic perspective of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Sepauk, Sintang Regency. The approach and method used in this research are quantitative approach with the PTBK method. Subjects and locations in research this is a class XI IPS student at SMA Negeri 1 Sepauk, Sintang District have low interpersonal communication in Islamic perspective. Technique data collection used was a questionnaire technique, interview technique, observation technique. The conclusion of this study: 1) gained an overview of communication interpersonal in the Islamic perspective demonstrated by student at the calss XI IPS Negeri Sepauk of Sintang District before the implementation of counseling group. Data results show that group counseling services on students the Ccass XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Sepauk of Sintang District is very good, running smoothly so that it can overcome interpersonal communication in an Islamic perspective this can be seen from the results of a post-test cycle I score 86,40% and a cycle II score of 96,93%, from these results indicates that students are experiencing an improvement based on post-test results I and II can thus be said “Ho” rejected and “Ha” accepted.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the analysis of guidance and counseling services in Kuala Lumpur Indonesian schools with in Indonesian schools (Kudus). Research method using a qualitative method by using a descriptive approach study that aims to understand in depth the object that is examined. The results showed that One of the counseling guidance services in SIKL uses the support system by directing parents to participate in supervising students in the online learning process. Beside, in SIKL all teachers provide guidance and counseling services while schools in Indonesia are only counseling guidance teachers who provide guidance and counseling services. Counseling tutors in SIKL have an important role in school because counseling teachers are educators who serve and facilitate the development of all potential learners to plan for a good future from various aspects, ranging from personal, psychological, and social. Guidance and counseling services in Indonesian schools in their implementation are made the preparation or planning of counseling guidance programs. The guidance and counseling program in Kudus Indonesian schools has four services, namely: (1) Basic services, (2) Responsive services, (3) Individual planning services, and (4) System support. The conclusion in this study is the selection of appropriate counseling guidance services and a good approach will make it easier for teachers to guide counseling in helping to solve student problems.

Abstract

Peminatan peserta didik merupakan program kurikuler yang disediakan untuk mengakomodasi pilihan minat, bakat dan/atau kemampuan peserta didik dengan orientasi pendalaman mata pelajaran dan/atau muatan kejuruan. Fenomena yang terjadi di SMA Negeri 1 Kalitidu, hampir seluruh siswa baru kelas X, masih belum memahami pengertian dari program peminatan dan cara memilih peminatan sesuai dengan kemampuan, sehingga siswa seringkali memilih program MIPA karena MIPA lebih baik dari IPS. Pemilhan program dengan cara seperti ini dinilai kurang tepat dan tidak memiliki dasar teori yang kuat. Oleh karena itu, untuk mencegah adanya siswa yang salah jurusan dan prestasi yang kurang memuaskan, konselor memberikan layanan informasi peminatan pada siswa kelas X. Penelitian  ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen, untuk mengetahui apakah ada perubahan atau tidak pada suatu keadaan yang dikontrol secara ketat maka kita memerlukan perlakuan (treatment). Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa layanan informasi menggunakan media interaktif berbasis powerpoint dapat meningkatkan pemahaman program peminatan siswa SMA.

Abstract

The impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in the world of education in Indonesia is the changing pattern of lectures. Lecture activities that were originally face-to-face must switch to online lectures. This changing pattern of lecture approach triggers the emergence of academic stress in students. High academic stress can affect the mental and physical condition of students which has an impact on decreasing academic ability. One way to reduce student academic stress is self-healing. This study aims to figure out the contribution of self-healing in reducing student academic stress towards online lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is a qualitative research with descriptive type. Five subjects students of IAIN Madura were obtained by purposive method. Data were collected through interviews with the subjects and analyzed by the data explication method. The results showed that all five subjects experienced a decrease in academic stress levels after self-healing. For physical changes, the five subjects no longer feel weak, the body is getting healthier and not easily tired. Meanwhile, mentally, the five subjects were ready and responsive in participating the following online lectures, enthusiastic about doing the assignments given by the lecturer and keen to ask questions and find out any information on their own about learning materials and something that had not been understood yet. Besides self-healing, online learning needs to be supported by facilities and infrastructure, readiness and skills of lecturers so that academic stress on students can be avoided.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the process of parental guidance and assistance for the Islamic Elementary School (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah or MI) students during the covid-19 pandemic and the benefits of parental guidance and assistance while learning at home. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature. The data were collected through observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) parental guidance and assistance is needed in online learning which is carried out by utilizing technology using networks because it is carried out online from their respective homes. Parents (family) are the first place where children get education. In connection with distance learning, the task of people increases as a substitute for teachers at home to provide online guidance, supervision, and direction for student learning. The success of children's education cannot be separated from the role of parents as the first teachers to introduce education. 2) parental guidance and assistance for students in online learning has a positive impact for both the parents themselves and the students. Parents become more aware of students' learning progress directly, become more patient, and also gain knowledge because they can learn together with their children. For students, they know more about their responsibilities as students, namely learning, completing assignments from the teachers and being more active in learning.
