Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling using the relaxation technique of reading the Qur'an to reduce the stress of academic students. academic stress. This type of research is quantitative research. The method used is quasi-experimental, nonquivalent control group design. Data analysis method using independent sample t test. The sample in this study amounted to 16 people, 8 people for the experimental group and 8 people for the control group. Data collection was carried out using the academic stress scale. Based on the results of the study, the Independent Sample T Test test produced a significance value (probability of error) = 0.004. This means that the statistical test results produce a sig value. 0.004˂ α 0.05, meaning that there is a difference in the acquisition score treated with the relaxation technique of reading Al-Qur'an with those who are not treated. Therefore, the class average value in the experimental group is greater than the control group (30.0010.00). Thus, it can be stated that group guidance with relaxation techniques reading the Qur'an is effective for reducing students' academic stress

Abstract

This study aimed to: 1) determine the condition of adolescents' resilience before receiving patience therapy 2) determine the condition of adolescents' resilience after receiving patience therapy 3) determine the effectiveness of guidance service with patience therapy in increasing adolescents' resilience. This quantitative study applied one group pre-test and post-test. Data were collected through questioinnaire, which was distributed to twenty participants. The study results indicate that before receiving patience therapy with sufistic techniques, adolescents exhibited a mean score of 164.5 or 82%, which was grouped into moderate category. After receiving patience therapy with sufistic techniques, the mean score was 171.35 or 86%, which was in the high category. This is proven through the Paired t-test sample test, which obtained a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.05, indicating that patience therapy with Sufistic techniques is effective in improving adolescents' resilience

Abstract

Peace within the household is a critical issue,  as the complexities and dynamics of problems can lead to disharmony, which can have adverse physical and psychological effects.  To address the need for post-conflict domestic life development, an ethnographic approach is employed. The research focuses on two married couples who have been living together as a child-and-parent couple (father mother, child wife) for 7 and 32 years, respectively. These couples are of Javanese ethnicity. The decision to include couples married for more than 5 years is based on the assumption that they have passed the initial crisis period. The research adopts an ethnographic case study approach, gathering data through interviews and observations.  Data were collected through interviews and observations. The findings reveal several important points: (1) Peace is perceived as a blessing within the household, encompassing inner peace, peace with the spouse, in-laws, and the surrounding environment; (2) Factors influencing peace in the household include self-awareness, understanding, and external reflections from the spouse, in-laws, and surrounding environment; and (3) Marital peace has implications for the implementation of marriage counseling, particularly in developing values that prioritize self-optimization when facing marital problems, thereby enabling the realization of potential and independence within the household
