IBTIDA (Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan Dasar) adalah jurnal yang diterbitkan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan pada Institut Agama Islam Nahdlatul Ulama ( IAINU Kebumen ). Jurnal ini terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan Juni dan Desember . Selanjutnya jurnal ini diterbitkan dalam dua. Fokus jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel penelitian tentang Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Pendidikan Guru MI/SD, seperti analisis kompetensi, strategi pembelajaran, teori pembelajaran, pengembangan pembelajaran, profesionalisme pendidik, dan hasil penelitian.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student activity using the discovery learning method in class V SD Negeri 2 Sidoharum. This research is a classroom action research that was carried out for 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sidoharum. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman analysis in four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis showed that in the first cycle of learning as many as 47.36% of students were actively participate in learning activities. While in the second cycle as many as 78.94% of students actively participate in learning activities. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student activity in participating in learning activities through the discovery learning method.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the value of social care character education for early childhood in the animated series Adit Sopo Jarwo by MD Animation in the episode "The Right Way to Be Brave Dennis". This type of research is a literature study using descriptive methods. The primary data source for this study was from the animated video series Adit Sopo Jarwo episode "Cara Jitu Dennis Jadi Pemberani", while the secondary data source for this research was from books and journals that could explain the research objectives. The data analysis technique of the data in this study is the content analysis technique. The results of this study are that there are 4 social care character education for early childhood in the animated series Adit Sopo Jarwo in the episode "Cara Jitu Dennis Jadi Pemberani", namely: 1) please help there are 5 scenes which are depicted by scenes of mutual help between characters using exemplary strategies ; 2) empathy, there are 3 scenes which are illustrated by dialogue asking about the situation and participating in feeling what other people feel using exemplary strategies; 3) tolerance, there are 3 scenes that are depicted by living in harmony even though they are of different ethnicities and understand each other's weaknesses and strengths using exemplary and habitual strategies; and 4) collaboration, there are 3 scenes which are described by scenes together solving a problem using habituation and exemplary strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the STAD model can increase student activeness. This study used Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The subjects in the study were grade IV students of SDN Karanggedang totaling 11 students consisting of 9 boys and 2 girls. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) model". with stages 1) Conveying goals and motivation, 2) Group division, 3) Learning activities in teams, 4) Individual and group rewards, 5) Evaluation and conclusion. The application of the STAD (student team achievement division) model is very suitable to be applied in elementary schools. Based on observations about student activeness using the STAD (student team achievement division) model in the pre-cycle, the average percentage was 48.5%. Cycle I get a percentage of 57.9% and cycle II gets a percentage of 81.75%, so the STAD (student team achievement division) model is very well used to increase student activeness thus the research hypothesis is accepted. Based on observations from the implementation of cycle I learning gets an average percentage of 72.9%. In cycle II got an average score of 90.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, and thoughts of individuals and groups regarding the role of teachers in implementing a freedom curriculum. This study uses a phenomenological approach. This type of research is qualitative research that sees and hears more closely and in detail the individual's explanations and understanding of his experiences. The phenomenological approach is based on researchers' interest in examining the phenomena experienced by key informants more deeply. The research was conducted at MINU Buaran. The informants in this study were teachers and heads of madrasas. Data collection is carried out by several techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study concluded that implementing a freedom curriculum is a key factor in the world of education that must be ready and able to follow the development of science and technology, especially those related to education. It is undoubtedly not easy to create an atmosphere of learning effectively and maximally if you look at the role of the teacher, which is increasingly complex and the students' reaction when receiving learning is also one of the important factors demi manifested high achievements in learning. This is what makes a freedom curriculum to learn.

Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources is a must for educational institutions, because teachers are the main key to the success of the teaching and learning process in schools. Quality students are often supported by competent teachers. This study reveals the leadership of madrasa principals in improving the quality of teacher resources. This research uses a qualitative approach with this type of research is descriptive analysis research. Collecting data in this study using interview and observation techniques. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach. The results of the study stated that the leadership of the madrasa head in improving the quality of teacher resources was carrying out teacher development activities in the form of involving teachers in training or seminars and encouraging teachers to continue higher education.

Abstract

The merdeka curriculum is a curriculum that is gradually implemented by the Indonesian government. Many reforms have occurred in this curriculum, so that educational units experience problems in adapting and implementing the merdeka curriculum in their respective educational units. The principal as a pillar of leadership in the elementary school education unit has a very large contribution to the implementation of the merdeka curriculum. This research will explain the role of the principal in driving schools, who implementing merdeka curriculum and the challenges that arise in implementing an merdeka curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity carried out by students in science learning where learning still focuses students on listening and note-taking activities. This study aims to describe student learning outcomes in the experimental method. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used in this research is the triangulation technique, namely test, observation and documentation techniques. Each data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models. The results showed that the average student learning activity in science learning using the experimental method was included in the good category.

Abstract

Learning by understanding the concept is a student activity to make conceptual changes. This study aims to determine the effect of the Interactive Conceptual Instructions approach with media (video and images) on mastery of concepts. This study uses a quasi-experimental type with experimental methods. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SD N Laweyan District for the 2019/2020 academic year. The sample in this study amounted to 236 students. The sampling technique in this study used a stratified cluster random sampling technique. The data collection instrument in this study was a concept mastery test. The hypothesis was tested using a 2x2 unequal cell ANOVA with the help of SPSS software version 21. The results of this study prove that the results of the interaction test of the influence of learning media on mastery of concepts show a significance level of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05; then H0A is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of learning media on concept mastery.
