Abstract

Normally, death means a cessation of life in all its forms. In terms of humans, that means the cessation of one's life. When the time comes, the spirit separated from the human body. All human pride has vanished. However, to deliver the dead to the last house, many people will gather there. This is an opportunity to be able to preach the good news to the living, that there is life after death. It is not finished here. The preacher needs to prepare to explain it about the good news. So that, this opportunity can bring people to salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Abstract

The case that is quite serious in theology is the doctrine of salvation, there is also a text which may confuse readers of the Bible if it does not have the ability to expose the Bible, Matthew 24:13, which can reveal that those who endure to the end are saved that, defense is an effort in every human being to strengthen himself or confirm life against all the problems he faces. It is important to note also that survival also does not always explain an active action to boast of itself, but surviving can be understood as a definite action subjected to actions by other people, other events. Then last into a passive position where people are required to be ready to bear claim, action or punishment; related to the concept of human salvation that God works fully. But there is a time when humans are obliged to survive. An idea more suitable to understand the text of Matthew 24:13, requires accurate observation of the Gospel of Matthew to understand actely the entire discussion from Matthew 24:13, must read and understand this paper from beginning to end. Because the questions relating to blessed salvation and those who survive in Matthew 24:13, are discussed in this scientific work.

Abstract

Integrity is important as long as someone is still alive. The importance of integrity is so important since the time of Elijah's ministry that was very necessary to bring change in the midst of Israel, which is to return to true worship. The changes brought by Elijah were only determined because Elijah had integrity. How about today, is integrity still relevant for believers? The author himself believes that integrity is still relevant for contemporary believers. The reason, because the success or failure of a person is determined by integrity. Integrity itself has the meaning of the integrity of a person, that means talking about one's own truth.

Abstract

God wants to involve Himself in every family, because family is a small institution but important. Family is a symbol of the relationship between Christ and the church. Family is the God's place to express His love through relationships in love each other, mutual respect and care among all family members. God in His wisdom has given humans the best model and way of maturing in faith, through the role of parents as God's representatives to guide children. Likewise in modern times almost all parents (husband and wife) work outside automatically when gathering with children only at night. Sometimes children are asleep or studying, and parents feel tired and need rest. Such conditions and situations cause no opportunity for parents to communicate, guide and pay attention to the development of children.

Abstract

The growth of a church is not instant. Expected growth cannot be separated from the influence of comprehensive teaching from a pastor and other instructors, the true growth process of the Church is inseparable from a way that is through discipleship, so that the congregation that he pastors may grow in quality and quantity to lead to the expected maturity by Christ. In fact in the church where the researchers joined, namely GPSI Shekinah Samarinda, the Assumption found several problems regarding the commitment of the congregation in GPSI Region I Samarinda. A temporary assumption is that not a few local church congregations do not reside or in other words like to move around church denominations. This is a sign that there is a problem with the so-called effect of a healthy shepherding on the growth of local congregations. This temporary assumption needs to be explored more depth in what causes and how local church congregations who are supposed to comply with local church rules, in fact do not implement and have no commitment to the local church.

Abstract

The profile of God's servants is a very important teaching that God has entrusted to His church on this earth. God's servants often face enormous challenges in delivering the teachings of God's Word. Such as offers to compromise, participate in committing crimes, unhealthy ambitions to gain a position, engage in the business world and materialism. In the use of wisdom it is not uncommon for God's servants to make their own decisions without involving God. In terms of ethics, God's servants experienced a fall by the temptation of wealth, throne and women. There is even a servant of God directly involved in business and politics so that it deviates far from the teachings of God's Word. Many of God's servants consider it more powerful and pretend to know because they have many congregations, and have spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues. To get maximum results, in this study the authors used qualitative research methods, historical research methods and descriptive research methods. Qualitative research methods by distributing questionnaires to congregants and to several servants of God who serve in the GPdI Rungkut church. This study collected data from the results of the distribution of questionnaire sheets to 175 eligible congregations to fill them. The conclusions of this research are 1) The Apostle Paul is a servant of God who was called by God to carry out His mission, which is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people; 2) First Corinthians describes the profile of the apostle Paul as a servant of God; 3) The Apostle Paul as a servant of God should be emulated by God's servants in Indonesia in general and in particular God's servants in the GPdI Rungkut Surabaya church; 4) God's servants must have knowledge about the profile taught by the apostle Paul so that they have a humble attitude, that is, an attitude that is not defensive when faced with resistance and a sincere attitude to help others; 5) Servants of God serve willingly and not accentuate their ministry so that praise is given from God not from humans; and 6) Servants of God have integrity and strict adherence to the spiritual laws contained in God's word.

Abstract

With the increasing number of Timorese Dawan who are married they are not in accordance with what is right before God today. Certainly making the servants of God must pay special attention and focus looking for various ways how to prevent and overcome the situation. And this is also very important to be studied. Why? Because of the habits that practiced by the Timor Dawan tribe rampant until now and this has a negative impact on the generation of teenagers and youth of the Dawan Timor tribe. And keep in mind that habits like this are also something evil in God's eyes. Therefore, as people who believe in God need to pay attention to this problem and find ways to prevent and improve this habit because this is something that is wrong and that is not pleasing before God. With this, the author is burdened to examine this problem with qualitative method. So that if you wish through this research, the people of Timor Dawan can turn those bad habits into habits that are in accordance with Genesis 1: 27-28. And this also needs to be applied by God's servants especially for God's servants who come from the Eastern Dawan tribe so that young people can see and apply their marriage properly and correctly before God and avoid bad associations that commit adultery before being blessed in the church.

Abstract

The Kaili are a native of Palu - Central Sulawesi and are one of the target groups for sharing the gospel. According to observations and empirical data in the field, the Kaili tribe consists of three groups with a variety of cultures. The three groups are often referred to as the Da'a, the Ledo and the Tara. In terms of religion and belief, there are very striking differences. The Kaili Da'a are almost entirely Christian. The Kaili Ledo people, only a small proportion are Christians, some are Muslim and ethnic beliefs. The people of Kaili Tara are almost entirely Muslim, in fact almost none are Christians. The existence of the majority Christian Kaili Da'a is the success of the Salvation Army church in carrying out their mission to preach the Gospel. There are a number of principles, methods and approaches that have been carried out by the Salvation Army in this regard. This makes the Salvation Army the largest church in Palu, and has the most extensive service area compared to other churches. The number of small church opened up to the mountain peaks is evidence of the success of this church in carrying out world missions. An exploratory study of the evangelistic methods of a church that has proven successful in carrying out the mission of evangelism is very important. It is said so, because through this study one can learn how a church begins evangelistic activities, what methods it has used, what obstacles it has passed until the church has succeeded in preaching the gospel to a community group. Preaching the gospel for the Kaili tribe is something very important to do. In front of us there is still another group that has various similarities with Kaili Da'a people who do not know the gospel. The Kaili Tara people and some Kaili Ledo people also need to hear the gospel message. The success of the Salvation Army Church in reaching the Kaili Da'a will be a case study, especially for finding effective evangelistic patterns or methods for other Kaili tribes. The first step in this study was carried out by analyzing the Evangelical Church evangelistic model of the Kaili Da'a tribe. The results of the analysis of the model provide answers to the search for relevant methods to preach the gospel among other Kaili tribes who have not yet heard the gospel. Second, implement evangelistic strategies or patterns that are used to serve as models for evangelizing other Kaili tribal groups. It is hoped that someone or an evangelistic organization that will evangelize the Kaili tribe will not get too many difficulties, because there is already a model that can be used as a guide. The use of methods in scientific research is very important. Therefore, the writing of this scientific paper will use two methods. The two methods are: first, library research method. The procedure adopted in this case is by reading books or articles relating to evangelism by the Salvation Church, reading books written by experts regarding the topic of evangelistic service, and reading books directly related to the topic of discussion Second, field research methods. In this method will use participan obvervation procedures and interviews with people involved in Salvation Army church evangelism activities. In addition, by looking for reliable data regarding the results of evangelism conducted by the alvation Army stionnaires containing questions related to the topic of discussion will be distributed to Salvation Army church leaders and activists directly related to the evangelistic ministry and will be returned to the author for further processing. From the field research through the questionnaire it was concluded that the most instrumental aspect in evangelizing the Kaili Da'a tribe was through the visit of officers, then personal evangelism by the officers and also through the testimony of the Salvation Church. It is evident that the service of the officers has a very important role in evangelizing the Kaili tribe. That is why the author advised the Salvation Army to improve the quality of officers. Provisioning and training as well as increasing the resources of the officers should be carried out in a consistent and directed activity. In general, the authors see that the Salvation Army succeeded in introducing and guiding the Kaili Da'a community to accept the Lord Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Furthermore, the authors advise that these service activities be continued in a directed and consistent manner. In addition, pastoral care of the congregation that has accepted the Lord Jesus needs to be improved so that the congregation's understanding of Jesus grows and the Church becomes a strong believer in facing all the challenges of life.

Abstract

The difference in viewpoints between dichotomous and trichotomic understandings will certainly not subside. The dichotomous believer has an emphasis on the visible and invisible. On the other hand, those who want to describe human existence in more detail are often called trichotomists. Yet if you want to sort out the existence of humans will be more than just 3 parts.
